What are the odds, indeed.
>Both pandemic-origin arguments depend on coincidence.

>The evolutionary virologist Michael Worobey is trying to bring the pandemic-origins debate back to where it started: with the notion that the coronavirus made the jump to humans at the Huanan seafood market, in Wuhan, China. Last week, he argued in Science that, contrary to official timelines of infection, the "first known" patient was a market vendor selling shrimp. For Worobey, it's telling-to say the least-that this confirmed case, and most of the other very early ones, was linked to Huanan. In an interview with Jane Qiu, whose excellent rundown of the new analysis appeared on Friday in the MIT Technology Review, he calls a natural spillover in this spot "vastly more likely than any other scenarios based on what we now know."

>But the mystery is hardly solved. The Science piece doesn't say that the shrimp seller was patient zero in the outbreak. Indeed, Worobey's prior work suggests that the very first infection overall, whatever its source, must have occurred weeks earlier, in October or November 2019. And although many of the early, known COVID-19 patients were connected to the market, some were not.

>Worobey's analysis, which corroborates the work of several independent researchers, does not, then, disprove the possibility that the pandemic started from some other source, such as a laboratory accident. It does, however, serve to crystallize the underlying structure of this endless and confusing argument. Those inclined to think, like Worobey, that the pandemic must have started from a traded wild animal share a fundamental intuition with those who point their fingers at the lab: They've both looked at all the facts and then identified a grand coincidence, and they both believe that their theory-and only their theory-can explain it.

its to late to float the wet market shit again, fauci. Everyone remembers the poos finding the HIV markers two years ago and them having to kill the white paper due to the shitstorm

Wuhan lab worker went to wet market a few klicks a way.
Like Jon Stewart said, WUHAN MARKET WUHAN LAB

It's all garbage, the vaccine isn't even a vaccine. It's gene therapy via injection. listen to this nazi on youtube, forward to 8.25 on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKBmVwuv0Qc

He says "Two years ago if we had done a survey and asked would you be happy injecting a cell or gene therapy into your body we would have probably had a 95% refusal rate ........ I think the pandemic has opened the way for innovation that maybe was not possible before".
>>
>>968456
this is such a dumb argument ala "it is not allowed to have new vaccines via new better methods!"
also "gene therapy!" holy fuck borderline everything changes your genes, go out in the sun guess what you genes just got changed! woah dude fuck the sun!
>>
>>968467
Ah, but the sun changing our genes is 'natural', apparently a good thing for many. Humans making something that changes genes, even to save millions, is an act of hubris and against nature/gods law/etc.
>>
>>968467
>go out in the sun guess what you genes just got changed! woah dude fuck the sun!
Yeah, it's called getting skin cancer and not everyone wants it

If you believe that RNA-vaccines change your genes you don't know what you are talking about. If you then have political opinions on the basis of that ignorance, you are goddamn imbeciles, both of you.
RNA-Vaccines work by making your cells produce the antigen that is used in immunization themselves, but not by making any permanent changes to your genes. Some people call this a gene therapy because it's still true that genes (in the form of non-permanent) RNA-blueprints are injected into your body. And yet the only important difference to other vaccines is the delivery mechanism of how the antigen is brought (in)to your cells.

the only way to separate fauci from his tv devotees is to put him in prison

and the fact that it dosent work.
>>
>>968554
But for some reason you can't get the traditional delivery system and choose between mRNA lipid torpedoes and mRNA adenovirus vector.
>>
>>968456
retard, he's saying mrna acceptance may foreshadow future acceptance of gene therapies, not that it IS gene therapy
>>
>>968918
It does work in what the companies making it says it does - prevent you from needing to be intubated and kept in a hospital on life support for 4+ weeks and cutting spread rates by 2/3rds. It's because of retards licking the bus handles to own the libs that's causing the bulk of transmission and mutation. Look at Israel. They vaccinated everyone over 30, rates plummeted because they locked down, then they let all their retarded college-age citizens go to fucking new york halfway through with no vaccine
>>
>>968965
>Israel's current sky high rate of cases & infections are all because some unvaccinated college kids went to NYC
Lmao
>>
>>968965
>mutation
Mutation is literally being caused by our half effective vaccines
>>
From a probabilistic standpoint, the chances of two unlikely things being true theory_A=(virus jumped species AND this happened close to the Wuhan coronavirus institute) is much less likely than a single thing being true theory_B=(this happened close to Wuhan coronavirus institute AND the institute was studying gain of function on coronavirus)

Especially given the fact we know that both propositions in theory B are true, it does not rule out theory A, but it follows that the most likely cause is theory B

Guess how I know that you went to a public charity "school" for losers and negros because your parents hated you and didn't want to waste a single cent on your education.

I mean, you set up a research facility near where coronaviruses tend to emerge in the wild, so it emerging in the very populations the lab was set up in order to observe BECAUSE they tend to have coronaviruses actually makes an equal amount of sense.
>>
>>968994
No you fucking jackass. Mutation happens regardless of vaccination. By that logic we shouldn't cure or treat ANY disease because "Oh it can mutate".

Also, variants of COVID began appearing BEFORE vaccination campaigns started.
>>
>>969023
Nice try, but The research facility in wuhan several thousand miles away from the Yunnan province where coronaviruses are known to originate
