https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/florida-mother-behind-ban-on-amanda-gorman-poem-has-proud-boys-links/ar-AA1bHDnnThe parent behind Amanda Gorman’s poem ban in a Florida school appears to have attended Proud Boys rallies and has previously posted antisemitic memes online. The parent, first identified by the Miami Herald as Daily Salinas, made headlines this week after reports emerged of her effort to ban a series of books at the elementary Bob Graham education center in Miami Lakes where her two children attend.Miami Against Fascism also posted pictures of Salinas’s apparent involvement with CCDF, also known as County Citizens Defending Freedom USA, a controversial Christian nationalist organization. The outlet Jewish Telegraphic Agency also reviewed a Facebook account that appeared to be Salinas’s. The account featured a series of rightwing and antisemitic posts, including one about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a fabricated Russian antisemitic text originally published in 1903 about a purported Jewish plan to dominate the world.According to JTA, the post about the Protocols showed a list of steps on how “Jewish Zionists” would dominate the world. In a statement to JTA on Wednesday, Salinas confirmed that the post belonged to her and apologized, saying, “I want to apologize to the Jewish community … I’m not what the post says … I love the Jewish community.”Salinas also told JTA that she was not a member of either the Proud Boys or Moms For Liberty and said he had just been in attendance at protests when they were present.Salinas went on to confess that she did not read the full text of Protocols beyond the word “communism”.
“I see the word ‘communism’, and I think it’s something about communism,” she told JTA, adding, “I didn’t read the words.”Salinas added that she is Christian, has Jewish friends and enjoys watching the Israeli Netflix series Fauda. She also revealed that she only read snippets of the books that she sought to ban at the education center. The books include The ABCs of Black History, poetry by Langston Hughes and books on Cuba, all of which she has criticized for “indirect hate messages”, references to critical race theory and gender indoctrination.“They have to read for me because I’m not an expert,” Salinas told JTA. “I’m not a reader. I’m not a book person. I’m a mom involved in my children’s education.”
>>1171381ofc its the lib who is a big mysogynist incel
>right-wingers want to ban children's books not because they actually found objectionable content, but because they're too illiterate to actually read themLolLmao, even
It's a shitty poem anyway. Also, good thing the JIDF is scouring the Internet.
>>1171465Jews and antifa. Also, now spics are far right white supremacists.
>>1171381Gaslight post. Also >op's picI struck your axe wound really hard I see. Now dilate harder tranny>>1171403>everyone except for the establishment and low life pawn wants to ban satanic books of deceit and liesFtfy
>>1171382>“They have to read for me because I’m not an expert,” Salinas told JTA. “I’m not a reader. I’m not a book person. I’m a mom involved in my children’s education.”
>>1171494Would be more believable if you'd actually read the post....you CAN read, can't you?
>>1171498Yet Democrats still push for unlimited immigration from Spanish speaking countries. How many more white supremacists hispanics are you going to import?
>>1171503>Yet Democrats still push for unlimited immigration from Spanish speaking countries. What other sorts of things do the voices in your head tell you?
>>1171504That sanctuary states are specifically designed to be havens for illegal immigrants and that Democrats want as much illegal immigration as possible based on the available facts. The voices in my head are able to come to at least conclusions that require at least 70 IQ points, which is 30 more IQ points than the average Democrap shill.
>>1171503Yet the lady from this article is (presumably) a descendent of Cuban refugees, who tend to be overwhelmingly Republican.
>>1171505>That sanctuary states are specifically designed to be havens for illegal immigrantsNo they're not. A sanctuary state merely means that the state has limited cooperation with the federal government and relies on its own departments and resources for immigration management. Sanctuary city does not mean any illegal immigrant just gets to stay indefinitely. You've been severely mislead. >Democrats want as much illegal immigration as possible based on the available facts. The available facts are that 80,000 people were deported in 2022. Border patrol apprehended 2.2 million people at the border in 2022. The available facts show that you're schizophrenic. There is no universe in which Democrats push for unlimited immigration. >The voices in my head are able to come to at least conclusions that require at least 70 IQ points, which is 30 more IQ points than the average Democrap shill. You need anti-psychotic medication. You're hallucinating immigration facts that don't exist.
>>1171507And I wonder why she got so worked up over the word "communism".It's not like anyone ever died due to comm-HAHAHAH I almost typed that without laughing.
>>1171508Are you really going to try to make me point out the obvious holes in your bullshit here? I think I'll refuse until you can tell me why your claim doesn't hold water based on the points in your own post.I think I'll just accept your concession right now instead and reassert that the voices in my head are higher IQ than the average Democrat shill.
>>1171510Yeah, but she (presumably) comes from a Spanish speaking country that Republicans deem okay to come from because they're "escaping the horrors of communism". Seems kinda hypocritical. I thought coming from Spanish speaking countries was coming from Spanish speaking countries. Why is it okay for Cubans to seek refuge but other Spanish speakers aren't allowed?
>>1171517They were actually imported by Johnson/Carter. They hate Democrats because of their communist undertones. I still want to send them back, but not as much as the Puerto Ricans in Florida.
>>1171517Oh, and why is it OK to flee your country while it's being destroyed? What about this trait makes these people of significant positive character?
>>1171499This isn’t even good bait, this is the whole “it’s more efficient to belittle others about their intelligence so I can feel intelligent instead of actually doing something useful that demonstrates my intelligence and is somewhat impressive”. I’m nta but I hope you can take the benefit of my point nonetheless.
>>1171512>Are you really going to try to make me point out the obvious holes in your bullshit here? If they're so obvious then just say what they are. If my argument is so bad why are you incapable of giving a counter argument? Or, maybe this "I'm too good to engage with you" is just a cope for the fact that you're a fucking retard and can't disprove anything I said?
>>1171512>Your argument is really bad>But I can't explain why>I accept your concessionThis is actually pathetic anon
>>1171526No you tell me. I'm not holding your hand here. Prove you have an IQ above 60 by re-reading your post and telling me what's wrong with it.
>>1171528I mean, if you can't see it, then I guess I win.
>>1171526>>1171528I'll even call for help for you.Someone, please tell me what's wrong with this post: >>1171508Help anon out. He doesn't get it.
>>1171520>why is it OK to flee your country while it's being destroyed? In other words, why is it OK to not want to die?>What about this trait makes these people of significant positive character?I think you're conflating immigrants with refugees/asylees. Why should someone be subject to moral judgment for wanting to escape persecution/imminent death?
>>1171532>Why should someone be subject to moral judgment for wanting to escape persecution/imminent death? You're reframing the question. Answer it as written.
>>1171533It's a loaded question with a false premise. Someone's moral character has no bearing on their eligibility for refuge/asylum (as opposed to someone seeking to immigrate).
>>1171536It's not a loaded question. A refugee is someone who didn't care enough to fight for their country and left to save only themselves. The character of such a person would assume that they wouldn't defend nor care about their host country.Refugees are the scum left on the water. Then again, who wouldn't flee a communist genocide ran by far left extremists?
>>1171537>The character of such a person would assume that they wouldn't defend nor care about their host countryYou do realize the United States has a fully volunteer military, right? Less than 1% of the population are active duty military, and about 7% of the population are veterans. So, are you saying the other 92% of the population that never enlisted in the military have poor character for not caring enough about their country to defend it?If not, then why are refugees held to a different moral standard than citizens of this country?
>>1171524My point is that conservatives consistently can't actually read lmaoI'm not trying to bait, not trying to gotcha, it's literally just me enjoying being smarter in a fundamental way than nearly all of my political enemiesI can see why conservatives are so into racial supremacy doctrine, it does feel really good being secure in the knowledge that you're just better than many others in a way they know is important but will never be able to catch up in
>>1171539Why is this thread bringing out all of the mental defects?Actually it's probably the same stupid fucking anon that's always a fucking idiot.Probably the same anon that say "they deported 80,000 or the 2.2 million illegal immigrants that they arrested" without flinching as evidence of a Democrap party that doesn't want a constant influx of illegal immigration. Now we have the anon that's comparing a peacetime volunteer army to a fucking communist genocide. This is probably the same anon that thinks private citizens shouldn't own "assault rifles" too.The absolute lunacy or you, anon, is astounding. Are you capable of forming thoughts that haven't been fed to you directly from DailyKOS, are you trolling, or are you really just an absolute idiot?
>>1171542Making fun of Southern blacks again, I see. How classy.
>>1171508Bro Democrats literally have an illegal immigration app now. It's time to stop this act.https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/texas-sues-biden-administration-asylum-rule-phone-app-99555078Texas sues Biden administration over asylum rule, saying phone app encourages illegal immigration“The Biden Administration deliberately conceived of this phone app with the goal of illegally pre-approving more foreign aliens to enter the country and go where they please once they arrive,”
when you're retarded enough to think all immigration is illegal, you too can be retarded enough to type out this post >>1171548The whole point of this post is maybe conservatives need to learn to read. So maybe learn to read and stop lying about shit
>>1171543All that text to not even address my point. Impressively pathetic.
>>1171648Explain to me why I should address your idiocy seriously? You've provided no point that deserves anything but ridicule, and you demand some sort of salient response from me.Maybe pack it up and come back when you aren't a idiot. How does that sound?
>>1171543>peacetime volunteer armyWe had conscription during the Gulf War, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, and Iraq?
>>1171650Sounds a bit like a concession to me. I accept it, btw
>>1171652Aren't you tired of this?
>>1171653Tired of winning arguments by default because right-wingers either provide no argument or go on unproductive schizo babble rants? Yeah, it does get a bit boring.
>>1171655But you provided no argument in the first place. Is it possible all these "wins" are actually just people giving up debating with an idiot?
>>1171655I read the thread. You're a retard >How come she can flee communism but we won't let in people for economic reasons? Huh!?! Hypocrite!
>>1171403It sounds like she's either lazy or lying, and wants to cover up her true motive. Who doesn't know what the protocols.are?
>>1171670It sounds like she's a cuban who escaped the communist genocide, heard the word "communism" and went ape shit without reason like a woman. But simpletonfags, redditards, and liberalsexuals have difficulty reading between the lines.
>>1171670>Who doesn't know what the protocols.are?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Protocols_of_the_Elders_of_ZionWhich despite being a "hoax" and a "forgery" was originally "intended as satire".
>>1171664What makes a Cuban's claim to asylum more valid than, say, a Colombian's?
>>1171684Ask Jimmy Carter.
>>1171684Columbia is a democratic nation with human rights and a relatively fair legal system. Cuba has none of those things.
>>1171381They should burn with their books
>>1171719Colombia has been in essentially a three-way civil war between right-wing militias/drug cartels, left-wing guerrillas, and the central government for the past 60 years.
>>1171381>Constituents: We want this banned from our district>Representative: Okay>BlackRock Media Outlet:THIS IS NOT OKAY, OKAY???On OP's topic, a random mother shared a message and got cancelled because Hitler also said he like dogs, more news at 11.
>>1171381Sexist lib strikes again
>>1171734I know. However, it's still a democracy. Still has human rights. Still has a functioning court system.
>>1171800Yeah, but civilians want to escape the civil war because they don't want to be collateral damage.
>>1171802The civil war ended in 1991. The current conflict is between the gov and criminal elements, so it does not qualify for asylum, and is in extremely isolated jungle areas, so it does not affect a lot of people. Open a fucking book you goddamn peasant.
>>1171805Can't tell if you're legitimately uninformed or simply lying. Or both.Even if your claim was true, what makes a Colombian jungle person less eligible for asylum than a Cuban?
>>1171809I literally just told you.
>>1171381SEXISTWOMAN HATINGLIBSTRIKES AGAIN
>>1171810And you're literally incorrect.
>>1171823Blanket denials are not an argument.
makes sense. dems try to ban the constitution all the time and I don't think I've ever met a democrat who has read the constitution. We have a DoE for every state + DC + the federal one. You would think somewhere in that common core shit they would be required to actually read through the entire constitution
>>1171835>The civil war ended in 1991Wrong>The current conflict is between the gov and criminal elementsWrong>so it does not qualify for asylumWrong>and is in extremely isolated jungle areasWrong>so it does not affect a lot of peopleWrongEvery claim in the post is wrong.
>>1171872>blanket denials are not an argument >makes more blanket denials literally what did he mean by this?
>>1171958The burden is on the person who made the claims to provide evidence that they are true.
