How the hell are these considered a car alternative when they’re the same size as a car
>>
>>1817008
They limit your freedom of movement, and that’s all that matters
>>
>>1817017
>limit your freedom of movement

Lol. How many times are you actually doing something outside of your neighborhood anyways?
>>
>>1817008
>car alternative
They're useful for hauling kids over short distances, especially if you live in an urban area where parking is problematic or very expensive, but that's pretty much all they're good for.
>>
>>1817019
These things look harder to park than a car
>>
>>1817026
It's not easy because you have to balance a tub full of retards on 2 wheels, but finding a spot may prove much easier. Historic city centers tend to have very narrow streets which leaves little parking space, but usually you can just leave these things on the sidewalk.

Are you fucking dumb?

>>1817026
Are you also fucking dumb or perhaps even the same person?
>>
>>1817008
It would be much easier having each adult use a regular bike with two chairs strapped to each.
>>1817035
Where do you park it? It is bigger than most motorcycles, which many times require dedicated parking as well.
>>
>>1817410
literally anywhere
it's the size and weight of 2 bicycles
you can park 2 bicycles anywhere

Side by side yes. Parking that abomination would just be an obstacle to pedestrians most of the time.
>>
They're barely 1/4 the size of a car

Get them off? it's not a car, they can leave the bike before you manoeuver it

Why do cagies lie all the time?
>>

Sure, if you overengineer all your spaces and devices to suit only a single type of use. This is the bus stop equivalent of Deutsche Bahn banning cargo bikes from trains regardless of how much space there is because "we expect they won't fit in our vertical hangers".
>>
>>1817017
This is the lamest meme cagers use. Stop trying to pretend you actually go anywhere fun in your car.
>>

That's not an e-bike in OP

I'd hate to pedal that thing uphill

You do realize most of the atoms are empty space.

The idea is that they're horrifically impractical outside of a few bougie neighborhoods trying to be college campuses but for grown adults, so if you want to tell the internet that you're a manchild who spends your entire life between Myrtle Avenue and the Pulaski Bridge then there's no better option for getting around.

Go on a vacation, get a side piece in the city, have some friends who you talk to for other reasons than them living or working in the same place. I'm sorry that your life is so boring you can't comprehend the idea of people wanting to leave their house but the only person who can fix that is you.

I like to browse /pol/ a lot but they'll never understand this level of based.

>>
>>1817008
Such an easy way to get your whole family killed all at once. Bikes are extremely dangerous. The number of bike injuries per biker is higher than the number of injuries per auto. Prove me wrong.
Pro tip: you can't
Cope and seeth

>Chorus of beautiful white kids saying "okay dad".

>>1817410
It's at most a third of the width of a standard minivan. So that's three spots you can get out of a parking stall. All of the space you've allocated to cars, cut it in half and you'll still have double the space needed to accommodate everyone switching to bikes. Not everyone should use a bike for everything, but for local commuting, and doing daily errands, these are fantastic.
>>
>>1817032
As an cargo-bike owner i can tell you that it is not that hard to control and balance

Me in the back.

Also these things aren't ideal either. The center of gravity is higher and therefore more unstable than putting most if not all kids into a bucket, the front seat can interfere with your leg movement forcing you to spread your knees unnaturally, rear kid may be uncomfortable with being glued so close to your butt, kids can't communicate with each other, if you have four kids you now need both parents for every trip.

Yeah broh, cause new cars rust away after 3 years, so it can't be older than one year and they hold up just 100k kilometers.

thefore you have to go for a one year old car with less then 10k kilometers for 30k €, no other options. cages start literally at 30k€

bro, I'm also against cars in citys, but you are just pathetic liars and that's why everyone hates you.
my mom just got a VW Polo 2009, nearly zero rust under it, 1,2 l three cylinder petrol engine without turbocharger and only 90.000km on it for 4k. and it even has ac.
you can get a golf with these stats for 6k easy.

>my mom
you must be 18 to post on 4channel.org

cost as much as a car
>car ownership tax
>road tax
>vehicle insurance
>skyrocketing fuel prices
nice try

this is actually a perfect compromise, it's got enough cargo space to take ppl and groceries and too bulky to steal in 5 minutes like a regular bike.
gots the pro's without the cons from both cars and bicycles.
>>
>>1826259
Why not just buy the 100$ attachment that connects ot the back of a bike?
