It was ideal for the singletrack/gravel parts and surprisingly excellent on roads too. The fargo's 29er wheels, front suspension, and tires make everything quite comfy. I like the bike so much I often ride it instead of my road bikes for <60 mile rides.I did the transamerica (road and some gravel) on an old cross bike, outfitted for touring with brooks saddle and ortlieb rear panniers and a custom bag on the rack, and a handlebar ortlieb bag. This was a great setup-- my gear stayed dry and the bike was good on gravel and road.

My single speed freewheel seems to be loose and makes a clink/clonk sound as you pedal it. There is a bit of vertical play and it's probably what is causing the noise. Is the component fucked or is there some tightening issue or even user related issue I'm missing? The issue has happened since I got the bike and the freewheel is otherwise new/unused.
