what are some minimalist aircraft out there? Would it be a bush plane or sport plane of some sort?

>>1632149It can get way more minimalist than that. A skydiver can achieve a 1-1 glide ratio without any gear at all, aside from the chute but it's stowed away. Add a squirrel suit and they can get up to 10-1 and briefly climb. Paragliders are probably the most minimal "aircraft" that can take off, maneuver freely, and land. A small bush / sport plane is only slightly more sophisticated and expensive. Pic related: a "hopper balloon". All the fun of ballooning but without the social aspect: no traditional champagne on the landing, you just crack a Miller Lite and call a cab.
Paramotor, but I'll shoot you out of the sky if you do circles above me with that noisy ass horse shit.
>>1632206There is a guy around here with one. If he sees cyclists on gravel rides he'll do a low pass. Someone saw him out a few weeks ago when it wasn't very warm.

>>1632206>noisy assCould you get away with an electronic motor? What would your range be?
The Volksplane is a cheap sport plane that is more that a novelty or a toy.https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/kitspages/volksplanes.php
>>1634694wasted space on an enclosed cockpit
>>1634667You're limited by what all you can carry on your back for foot launching. The prototypes I have seen give about 15 minutes of run time. You can glide easier though.
>>1634667Wouldn't the propeller noise be most of the problem anyway?
>>1632149> doesn't even need wings to fly
>>1635365More expensive that some planes.
>>1635365Harley all the way
>>1634656There's no way that has enough thrust. Does it have enough thrust? Somebody spoonfeed me, I was going to do a legal eagle but this looks nuts and I like it.
