edgy teenager in the mid-2000's starter pack.

feel free to add more of these types of albums that these edgy teens used to listen to during that time.

If any Avenged album should be there, it should be City of Evil. That's solidly mid-2000s and that's when they got big anyway.

Nothing really edgy about listening to Eminem in the mid-2000s. He was fucking massive and dominated the music industry, he was as mainstream and normie as you could get (not saying that his music wasn't great though).

>>
>>88327356
I listened to mostly black metal back then like Gorgoroth, Satyricon and Emperor. I was on some anti hip hop level of edge back then. I didn't listen to anything remotely influenced by hip hop which included nu-metal.

>>88327356

Did you live in the Midwest?
Kids I knew living in Texas just wore the shirts but never really talked about the band.
>>
>>88327356
I liked Bat Country and SOAD but that's it. I will admit that I liked emo pop/punk too: AFI, MCR, Fall Out Boy (only Under the Cork Tree), 30 seconds to Mars etc. But I also got into hip hop, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and some other random shit before I graduated high school. I kinda thought people who defined themselves by genre music were cringey.

End nostalgia blog post.
