Right now people seem to care a lot more about ideology and "vibe" than recording, production, musical proficiency. A lot of the great classic rock was lyrically naive. "problematic" by today's standards. It reaffirmed people's attitudes and relieved tension. We're living a days of metamodern confusion, people are scared to make authentic statements and we don't know who we agree with or what we agree on
