Anybody else greatly prefer LS to SoE? SoE is alright, it doesn't really do it for me. The production of it feels greatly inferior, the loud parts are too loud and the quiet parts don't really leave the same room for the instruments to breathe in, unlike LS which sounds just perfect. Spirit of Eden has a weird flow to it, depending on what version you have, you either have a 23 minute long opening track, or 3 separate ones leading into a second half that feels pretty different to the first. Only weakness of LS really is that Runeii is a pretty mediocre closer, every other track on the album is superior. Laughing Stock is one of my most listened to albums ever, I rarely go back to Spirit of Eden, and if I do it's usually just to listen to "Eden" I do prefer the art of SoE though.
Colour of Spring is their best tho
