The synth loop is not bad on the melodic aspect, but the tone is very basic and becomes tedious to listen to. The drum roll at 1:01 it's not very fitting, especially when it doesn't have other things to strong the build up like a riser, sound effects or a cymbal at the start of the next pattern, it doesn't sound very well either when you use it as a normal percussive element, using another snare sample for the drum roll would give more colour to the track and it would make it less annoying to listen to.
