I just dont get the hype about this song at all. Its just pessimistic lyrics whispered over dissonant strumming. It doesnt go anywhere. It doesnt evoke any emotion.

it felt way more original back then, there really wasn’t much of a serious precedent for this kind of music, or for singing about social anxiety with such sinister undertones.. Seinfeld effect I guess, it’s the most overrated song on a genius album so I still think it’s good but I’ll be shaking my damn head every time someone says it’s the most brilliant cut on the record
