I would like mym more if it had a higher budget. I said it in some other thread, but mlp is a tentpole product for Hasbro, but they're treating the brand so cheaply that random netflix movies like Unicorn Academy look better. It's easier to draw and rig a 2d pony with the tools they have no, while mym less environmental detail, less crowds and ponies on screen due to rendering, and this is even with mym having access to ANG assets.

I was indecisive before which lead to a myriad of variations with small changes—like plain tears vs running mascara, color vs black and white, purple highlights vs plain blue, and ETC; too many to post in the thread.It was the perfect storm really. Seeing that other Anon’s drawing got me thinking about goth Izzy again, and at the same time I had just finished rewatching Elfen Lied and discovering new Evanescence songs. The outfit she’s wearing is just a straight copy of what Lucy wears in the finale; just with the colors changed, and no bows or stockings. The running mascara is based of imagery from the video of the Evanescence song, “Bleed (I Must Be Dreaming)”.
