>>39742942If you're playing on Historical then you just need to know how airpower and unit design works, because at some point in your focus tree you can ask Stalliongrad for help and they will. If you're not on Historical then you do need to learn a bit more about how the game works but taking territory that isn't yours requires using up manpower to garrison those regions which drains the changelings down.

Start as Stalliongrad instead and practice with taking Nova Griffonia first. Once you're done with that, help Equestria out in the Changeling war so you can get some practice in fighting a major war without having to deal with the frontlines alone.

>>39745048bruh, Stalliongrad is an even worse option for new players. It's not new-player friendly at all with its ancient focus tree design and barren lore. The Griffonian Empire is a much, much better choice for brand new players. You get to start by fighting small, but easily winnable wars since you are stronger than all of your neighbors, then you get to work your way up to bigger and bigger challenges as the game progresses.

>>39747475You can absolutely go with basic templates, hust remenber, you hold the line with infantry, break through enemy lines with heavy tanks and use light tanks to encircle enemy divisions. Realistically 90% of countries won't have the industry to do that, so you can replace light tanks with motorized (equally good, a matter of preference) and add artillery to infantry, so they'll be able to push a bit. Also make a lot of planes. A lot of planes. And set them on air support, or air superiority if you can take losses and are able to overpower the enemy in the air. Navy doesn't matter 90% of the time in either EaW or vanilla unless you fight the UK or Hippogriffs. You should be able to crush anybody else with random ships you most likely have
