As I say the only thing I don't like reading are the parts of the crack pairings so I don't like things like Sundagio and TimberXFlash but I'm tolerant with Flashimmer, Sciset, Rarijack,Twimber and DerpyXBulk Biceps.In fanarts: here I'm more tolerant with almost all the popular ships even some of the crack pairings as long as the pic looks cute.In the series: I'm stricter with the show than with the fanworks for obvious reasons It's canonical material so it requires development for that reason I am going to confess that although Flashimmer and Sciset make sense, I cannot say that I'm a fan of these couples, I simply tolerate them. Another would be the story if these couples had more substantial moments. Flashimmer could have been a very good couple if only the series had a good format, it's a shame that we didn't see their past and their present to know what changed and what remains the same in their relationship and the problem with Sciset is that although the similarities and contrasts of both characters have been explored Timber exists he is in the middle of this situation IMO Rarijack is better than Sciset because it's a little more direct.

Now in terms of characterization I think it was good I actually liked the part where Timber and Twilight talk about their breakup and how difficult it is to rebuild a friendship again. I also liked how Sunset realized that bottled up her emotions is not a good thing just like being in denial about her problems is not a good thing. The highlight for me was when she finally accepted her demons even if the scene was very literal that was kino. When the series was on the air I expected that at some point the people of the city would complain about the magic obviously some of them are going to blame Sunset for everything and the solution is basically what we see in that chapter because that would be giving continuity to Trixie's pov in FF. I liked the story of how she got her cutie mark but 6 years seems to me a more appropriate age to obtain it, just saying. I approve the idea that male characters can also transform into demons. Overall the story is ok the only issue I had was with some of the circumstances and I like Flash and Timber as individual characters not as a couple.
