I know I'm biased, being one of the world's foremost Applejack haters, but it really is depressing revisiting S1 episodes and seeing Rarity's friendship with Fluttershy which was never really developed any further or touched on again. All in an effort (by the mentally ill writers) to push an awful fucking crackship instead. Look Before You Sleep is one of the most infuriating episodes in the entire show but those fucking weirdos latched onto and chose to ignore eps like Suited for Success, Stare Master, and Green Isn't Your Color. Because being a disgusting dirty fucking cunt is cool and hot apparently and an ideal relationship is one where your partner has no manners and doesn't respect you.We didn't get a Rarity and Twilight episode till S9 cause of that shit. They just kept giving us Rarity and AJ episodes and Rarity and Spike episodes. Still, the episodes usually wound up being pretty good despite that. Rarity still has the best episodes overall even though they tried to sabotage her.It's also absurd how little we see of Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Sonic Rainboom is a highlight and we don't get focus on the two of them together till Rarity Investigates, 4 seasons later. And then it's 5 more seasons till we got that dumbass episode in Season 9.
