Hello and welcome to the 11th Anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic threadStream starts today. 2:00PM Pacific / 5:00PM EasternCountdown here: https://pink.horse/countdownStream here: https://pink.horse/streamPre-flight thread >>37648398>I have toaster internetWe will have a 360p resolution selection available this year.>I don't like EQGOk anon, I understand. We will be doing a sidestream for replays/user requests whenever the EQG films are playing.I hope you all have a great time.
>>37688019It doesn't matter right now, what matters is how much S1-7 is amazing
>>37688008You are like a little babby. I'm so fucking exhausted and sleepy, but I can't actualaly sleep because if i cose my eyes I'm get dizzy and need to puke.
Twilight became princess of Friendship, Golden Oak was destroyed and Castle appeared, we saw Cutiemark Crusaders gaining their cutiemarks. We saw school of friendship and young 6.We saw development of the characters, not including shitty episodes here, they are simply pointless. Then - coronation and future generation.Looking back at it now it feels like a pretty healthy development. If instead of effortless scripts and dum plot moves, like brutally imprisoning villians after preparing the backroung for their changing, there were quality stories with the same general story this show would be somply perfect,What i want to say is that our poies grow and move on, preserving and appreciating memories.Same in real life. It will never be the same, but it doesn't mean it will be worse. We had an amazing time, each event and activity were uniqu and it will never repeat. As some say: "Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened."Your waifu would be sad if she knew that you are struggling because of her.And we always can gather on 10th of October to remeber everything, raise our cider and drink in honor of friendsip and our favorite ponies.Lets make this world a bit closer to Equestria before we actually end up there.
are we doing something for the bros who aren't here?>>37687646
>>37688022Most boring story ever. I literally just watched the first ep when it came out in October 2010. I instantly knew this is my life now. That's pretty much it.
>>37687646>Inside the screencapMission acomplished. That's that, take care fellas.
>>37688019From what i saw, it was almost like an entirely different show. Like a spinoff that had been infected with dangerhairs and DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTHHHHHH writing.
>>37687644its a guaranteed dopamine hit.
>>37688033God I miss Scarlett Peace
>>37688008I've only slept three times since last Friday and not once during the night. But that's the price you pay for maximizing the anni.
thread is currently at 12642 posts. that is 35.7% bigger than 9th anni's thread but we're missing 4,020 posts to last year's anni threadcan we do it?
>>37688041Based veteran. i wish i was there sooner
>>37688038Imagine if Hasbro hadn't utterly eliminated people the likes of Faust, Renzetti or Larson from the show because they wouldn't bend the knee and compromise on quality.

>>37688047size isn't everything
>>376880222011, iirc. It was around the time the luna halloween episode aired. I never really accepted it though, most of my interactions w it outside of 4chan were filled with seething, and desu i can't remember why.
>>37688047This anni was somehow smaller but much better than last year.
>>37688022Got back from my first deployment in 2011 and found all this shit on /b/. Second deployment was scored to fandom music.
>>37688022Ah yes, another fandom ruined by suits.
>>37688047>4,020>can we do it?no
>>37688047Nah but it's probably a good thing. This year's anni has been absolutely fantastic and I liked it more than 2020 anni but seeing the 10th one at the top is special too.
>>37688047We don't have to. What matters is that we have fun every year, not that we create bigger threads.
>>37688003I don't know if this helps at all, but it's also on Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/mlp-the-antithologyhttps://ia804503.us.archive.org/35/items/mlp-the-antithology/mlp_%20-%20the%20antithology.mp4
Well, I ended up not watching the finale. After the last 2 years I was knocked out for more than a week with no food and constant diarrhea from the depression it caused so I opted out of it this year lest I literally die this time.I love you all, friends. And see you all in the autumn 4cc babbies next week!/)
>>37688047There's 164 unique IPs here, as long as these 164 anons are happy it's all that matters for me
>>37688066See you anon, I hope you feel better.
>>37688022Don't get me started on it, I'd feel like I'd have to tell my whole life story. It's been a wild gotdang ride. Just know I've been here in spirit the whole time.
>>37688066Still haven't seen them. Think I know what happens and don't want to get those feelings.
>>37687848Thank you, it was a nice experience overall. You can see it here in the thread.
>>37688047doubtful, but this was a great anniversary all the same
>>376880222013-14. Time isn't exact since I was like 11-12 when I first started watching. Randomly started watching eps on Youtube and liked it, then saw PTS in the recommended and you can probably figure the rest. It's been a joy.
>>37688022I was subscribed to MASTERLINKX when he uploaded the episodes on YouTube shortly after Call of the Cutie came out, and I'd seen pony images around /b/ so I checked it out. Was instantly hooked.
>>37687848Thanks all for hosting.
>>37688022Mine is a story of shame. I was there for the first episode and all the first season threads on /co/. I really, really liked it, but I dropped it somewhere during the second season, mostly because I felt like the fandom was being tainted by furries (I had a huge hateboner for furries back then, and any, even slight furry connotations were a dealbreaker for me).I think the biggest problem for me was (and I hate typing this out now) when they gave Derpy an actual part in an episode, because to me that meant that the creators are being influenced by the fandom, and that the corruption will spread to the show itself.I came here last year, after my life has gone to utter shit and I needed something to remind me of better days. Watched the show, remembered how much I loved it and that I still love it, wept over how much of a stupid faggot I am and how much I've missed out on over the years. But hey, at least I have pony now. That's better then if I never decided to come back at all.
>>376880222012, saw some pony memes on youtube and then clicked on the s2 episode about rainbow dash discovering daring do is fun. Clicked away after the opening, but it didn't take me long to find more pony shit on youtube.
>>37687822HereIt was a pleasue to count and cry with you, guys /)
>>37688022I got on the ride in 2013 after exploring artwork and found this piece. I thought, if Bronies love the show so much to make something this awesome, it might be good.
>>37688047Maybe at the 15th anni.
>>37688022It was around october 2011, I've been seeing ponies popping up everywhere for a while, but it was in october that I decided to give in and watch, and from that blessed moment it was love at first watch, soon I watched all of season 1 and 2, had discovered my love for my waifu and started a path of autism that led me to this moment
>>37688113Well, technicalities aside, the fandom is tainted by furries, and the show writers were corrupted, so you were correct on both accounts. It's just that the fandom unexpectedly transcended both and simply doesn't need them anymore.
>>37688113>mostly because I felt like the fandom was being tainted by furries (I had a huge hateboner for furries back then, and any, even slight furry connotations were a dealbreaker for me).AH, that was it. Yeah the fandom(not the show) very much felt like a more aggressive strain of furshit, and it was a real turnoff desu.In the end tho furries ended up being worse and now i'm filled w regret.
>>37688128furries hosted the anni lol
After this is over I'm going to start rewatching season 1 immediately and stop after Winter Wrap up and pretend it's still going and I have so much to look forward to.

>>37688022Well let's see. I was always a social outcast at 15. And at one of the outsider tables at lunch I heard someone talk about /b/ and to avoid it yada yada yada. Of course I immediately check it out, it was novel and I didn't care for the rest of the site, but I knew there was a pony board, but ponies were for little girls and bronies were weird losers so I ignored the site. Then, one day I was lazing about the house channel surfing when I found the hub and it was playing...eqg. An unorthadox initiation I know, but culture shock plots have always been a favorite of mine, so I watch it for the novelty and a get a funny warm feeling over the whole thing and quickly binge everything at that point on youtube. Not long after I hear 2 other kids talk about it on the bus using "code" and I was able to listen along and understand, these would be some of the first friends I made on a cold start. One of them was a /tg/ user, and that reminded me of /mlp/ hungry for more content I went there and I can honestly say /mlp/ showed me what it's like to be a part of a community. And I love you for it.
>>37688140This >>37688142Onions are fucking great. Aside from pumpkins they're my favorite thing to grow cause nothing bothers them.
>>37688154>sweat flavored applesWell... when you put it like this... maybe onions aren't that bad?
>>37688022Is there a term lower than Newfag? Only started last year September, and only started /mlp/ this May. Started off as some mod hunting with my friend for Hearts of Iron 4 and found EaW. Unfortuantely said friend never got into ponies as much as I did, but here I am now, on the nevereding ride, drawing amateur art and making spaghetti. Everday since May, I always think how different my life would have been if I got on the ride any earlier. I'd like to think I'd be happier.
>>37688169Yeah, we call you our lifeblood.

fug >>37688022November 2010. Will be 11 years in around a month. On /co/. Good times.
>>376880222010, October. I saw threads on /co/ with links to the episodes, and watched them. They were cute and fun, surprisingly captivating. And even at that early stage pony memes were being churned out fast. People were genuinely excited about the show, and it was infectious. Soon the latest pony episode would be my most anticipated weekly ritual. I'd get up early to watch it on Saturdays, then go on /co/ to talk about it. I stuck with /mlpg/ for the first 3 seasons, but I started drifting away after that, taking very long breaks from /mlp/ during the hiatus, and after season 4, I basically didn't come back to /mlp/ until the start of season 5. And with season 5's conclusion, I fell off the ride for a while. The announcement of the movie, and the end of the ride, brought me back into the fold.

>>37688022I honestly don't remember. It was either in fifth or sixth grade 2011 or 2012. Late in middle school I started getting insecure about liking a show for little girls and just stopped watching (I believe sometime during season four). After middle school I hated my years in middle school and suppressed as much as I could from then. Unfortunately due to my mindset at the time that included ponies. The only thing I really remember from back then is who my waifu was (and proud to say still is even after so many years apart). But to answer your question: Chances are it was either a PTS, an anthology, some music, or porn.
>>37687357what's stopping you from joining the 4cc streams next week or playing on the /mlp/ TF2 server?
>>37688181never mind, it's still disabled
>>37688022started watching the show in december 2020 but didn't start looking at the board until the summer during /mlp/con

>>37688022Flashback to 2012, be me, 13, kind of weird, obsessed with pokemon, tf2, minecraft, adventure time, and..."The Internet™"Pone was starting to creep it's way into every corner of the web, whether it be bronies or haters. Something about the characters drew me in, the colours, the designs, the memes. Now I'm here fagging on an imageboard.

>>37688022at my friends place sometime in 2015, most likely summer. anyway he's a coomer so he was playing a pony porn game. anyway after i asked him some questions and went through the whole rigamarole of "why would adults watch a kids cartoon?" and all that we watched a few episodes, it didnt catch on right away but when i got home i was scrolling through the tv and mlp happened to be on at that time, said fuck it and just left it on because nothing else of interest was on at the time. and well im here now so you know the rest.

>>37688022Late 2013-Early 2014. The first time I ever learned of the fandom was in a Zero Punctuation comment section. The very first MLP clip I saw on Youtube was the scene in Suited For Success where Rarity was crying.
>>37687576>>37687814You can look here http://xaekai.net:890/history/medialogSearch for "1633727167018". That's the timestamp of when S1E1 started. After the anni is completely over, someone should make a summary list of URLs/titles like last year (https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/36020525/#36021375)
Sad it's over, glad I came. :unf2:
>>37688022just wrote it off as the shitposting flavor of the month way back when it first hit the scene, but it just never let up. did my best to avoid it since I'd enjoyed, guiltily, the moe anime boom a couple years prior figuring MLP might net the same results. Was also disillusioned with what was available in the anime sphere then. Come to find out both my close friends had seen it. figured i'd better give it a shot at that point. neither of them watched it much longer past that but I continued on cause I have a thing for seeing things I enjoy through to the end. like I mentioned in an earlier post I was doing round the clock care giving for my crippled mother, so I couldn't leave her house for very long. Made it real simple to access a degree of socialization through my desktop in the off hours or after she'd gone to sleep for the night. Ponies REALLY helped me keep my sanity together when the stress of caring for an elderly parent would weigh on me.
>>37688022In 2012 there was a weird kid in my class that was religiously obsessed with MLP. Like carrying around his plushie type of obsessed, so I distanced myself from both the show and fandom as best I could at that time. Fast forward to 2015 after I got out of school, I drunkenly stumble upon /mlp/. Give a couple of threads a read, and inspired pick up the show and then proceed to binge it straight up to Bats! and here I have remained.

>>37688022Late 2013 - Early 2014 I found some episodes on youtube, I specifically remembered watching Ticket Master, and maybe Look Before You Sleep. Then I found PTS, which is how I found /mlp/, and 4chan in general. The rabbit hole of music, art and fics I found myself in got me hooked, but I stayed for the show.I was obsessed, and I'd flaunt my autism wherever I went, jumping at the chance to chew someone's ear off about pony if they dared ask.I mellowed out, and the Cringe Era got me out of it for a bit, but I came back because I realized nothing else was doing it for me.

>>37688281I'm in this one!
>>37688022Man, it feels so long ago. I don't specifically remember what made me join the ride, I think it was all the PMV's I found on youtube and starting the path that would lead me to the ride.I have two regrets, and they're my biggest ones. The first is not making or contributing any content during the golden age. I was too amateur as a writefag and listening to all the PMV's inspired me to start a PMV of my own I never finished. My other regret is later quietly leaving the fandom for a bit, thinking I had grown out of it while I focus on life. Stupidest decision of my life. A few years ago I found some more snippets of ponies, and eventually a bit before Covid I saw snippets of ponies and started to miss how much I loved having this amazing show in my life.Sorry for the blogpost. I'm glad I found the ride a decade ago, and I may have slept on it for a bit, but I'm happy it's never gonna end. We're all gonna make it.
Well that was a fun week. Thanks anons
>>37687995there are different time zones in that image
>>37688022I think it was 2012 when pony shitposting was the most rampant, I always thought it's just a silly fad and never bothered with it but something finally made me cave(I think it was a cute screencap of Pinkie) and I decided to give it a try. A few episodes in and I was completely mesmerized with characters and the world, I was even struck with mild depression after s2 finale because I wanted to be in this world so badly. My internet started to wane around S6 and I skipped the ride like the faggot I am. 3 years later I learned that the show's finale is coming soon, decided to attend the 2019 anni for old times sake and never left.

>>37688022I knew about existence of Friendship is Magic, watched it sometimes with smol sister. Iirc i was 14 y. o. It was early 2013, when FiM started airing in my country. Thought: "ye, nice cartoon".Two times, in the 2014 and 2015, almost participated, First time because of brony friend with which i was talking about the show, tho i was not very close with him and didn't knew that he is a brony.Second time was when my close friend asked me to watch poni with him because he wanted to understand the jokes from the videos of a certain games related YT channel. Both of us weren't digging that deep and not taking friendship stuff serious, it was a bit boring desu so i dropped mid 1st season lol.I didn't knew that brony existed in first place. Somehow pony stuff was avoiding me.Was listening to some music from 2012, knowing it is related to MLP, Sister Hate and Discord to be precsice.I pretty much liked pony and it was a big surprise for me when i opened the fandom for myself in early 2017.After i got closer with my groupmate from uni that was a btony i ended up in this fandom. And on 10th October of 2017 I started rewatching all episodes alone. The date is complete coincidence.I was depressed by the fact that i missed best years of the fandom and "uh oh fandom is dying" that i heard pretty often from the internet wasn't helping. Plus - the leaks in the end of that year, "show will end in 2019". That was hard.Somehow i overcame it and saw that fandom is pretty alive. Although, sometimes I still regret not getting on the ride earlier.
The last sections of these streams always makes me feel sad.
>>37687532I LOVE THIS CELLO PONY
>>37688341That reminds me of my first pony memory.I didn't know anything about my little pony other than it's about ponies. It was Mare do well and I wasn't paying attention, at some point I was watching for a moment and had a moment of absolute deep realization. After watching dash for 5 minutes I enlightened everyone "wait a minute, that's a pegasus."
>>37687949>Over 50 days of music in the pony music archive It's 16 weeks and 3 days, actually.
When are we watching the movie?
>>37688022This one's a long one...It all started the way back in the Autumn of 2012, I was only 12 years old when I was browsing the classic YouTube catalogue of YTPs and Gmod videos on my laptop until I came across this video https://youtu.be/3U56gjiUbFM , I thought it was pretty neat since I was into creepy stuff, and seeing a show that I assumed was JUST a girly cartoon get twisted into something disturbing was appealing to me. I would have turned away and forgotten about it if one video hadn't caught my eye https://youtu.be/I4-hNwJ9Xxs, this was the point of no return for me. In the very first 30 seconds I was hooked, and I knew there was more to this community than I thought, again, the perversion of this children's cartoon was what initially drew me in. I had to see more, there was so much soulful content to take in and so much to be inspired by, you name the creator and chances are I watched their stuff. For the first time in my life it seems like I'd found a community I could truly relate to, as I had a hard time relating to people around me. I began watching the show on TV soon after, I would even leave it on the Hub overnight while I slept so I could wake up to an episode of MLP every day before school. As for /mlp/, I, along with most anons here I assume, used to watch Pony Thread Simulators back when they were popular, and that obviously led me here. Now here's the part that you might hate me for...I began losing interest around the end of Season 4, it was partly due to the declining quality of the show, but it was mostly because I just moved on to other interests. Now don't get me wrong I didn't grow to dislike the show or it's community like others would when they get off the ride, in fact I remembered my times here fondly and never took those memories for granted. Now flash forward to October 15th 2020, COVID is hitting us hard and everything sucks. I was listening to some music in my Nostalgia playlist on YouTube while working on some art for Inktober, and as fate would have it, the shuffle feature kept landing me on classic brony songs. I think to myself "huh, it's been quite a while since I heard these" and began searching for old YTPs and PMVs that I used to watch but never saved to my playlist, and while watching all these old videos I felt this big rush of nostalgia, so I did the most reasonable thing for me to do: I payed /mlp/ a short visit and I never left since. At this point I had completely forgotten about the show and everything in it, so it was like discovering pony all over again, and for the first time in a VERY long time, I felt curious, I felt inspired, I felt a wave of all sorts of feelings as my memories of this show returned, but most of all, I felt truly happy to be back, it felt like a piece of me that was missing had finally returned, or like coming home after a long day of work. It's good to be back.../)
And that's it for my image dump. Be well and have a good one, Anons.
>>376880222019, bro was posting kirins fan arts on one channel. Then I decided to watch some MLP epizodes, but I was pretty scared. I know about MLP many years before but I was thinking that ponies are ,,childish, stupid and probably gay'' Now I watch ponies everyday and I love them soooo much.

It was extremely comfy keeping the threads up and passing the marker around for the archive. We had faust lurking the thread and interacting on Deviantart and even Thiessen making the eye switch for derpy in feeling pinkie keen because of us. >>37688022Started seeing these horse related avatars everywhere in several forums and around YouTube one day, around early 2012. They were everywhere. One day I decided to see what the fuss what about so I started researching. Ended up finding the "source". I remember the first MLP related thing I ever saw was the "do you like bananas" video and it was amusing, and I started watching many other videos about MLP. Then found the Know Your Meme video explaining the origin of all this stuff, explaining the show, etc. It also briefly mentions 4chan (a place witch which I was somewhat familiar with but where I had never posted) and /mlp/. Started watching the show and holy shit, I binged S1 in like 3 days, and then S2 and I was extremelly sad when it was over. Eventually found my way to /mlp/, a place which I couldn't leave for some reason, and started shitposting here after lurking daily for like 2 weeks. This was around the summer of 2012. And now it's 2021.

>>37688228You're a precious one, Anonymous. Thank you.
>>37688433It really was. What people don't realize was how different 4chan as a whole was back then. Different mentality (far less doomposting, negativity or /pol/posting, hitler posting was considered ironic) but also, no catalogs and no archive whatsoever. There were a few archive website but you had to manually put thread theres. No booru or central website for the fandom as well. The archive system Archive was one of the first and it kept every single pictures posted in the thread, so it was in our best interest to keep it in a single thread and pass it around, so you coudl access all of the content produced that day. (esp because it could be griefed and put in other random threads and you could lose a whole thread worth of content if you fucked up.)

>>37688519Well, that explains our 'catalogue everything' mentality and strong sense of tradition.
>>37688524>SECRET SANTAWant to join, but fear I don't have any good gifts to give.

>>37688563we have weekly rewatch streams on Saturdays - 2 episodes followed by the latest fan stuff.
I would just like to say thanks to all the people who keep organizing these anniversary streams. You bring a lot of joy to people's hearts. These streams are a highlight of the year for me.
>>37688578>Best Gift EverIt is one of my favorite episodes (special)
>>37688580ThisThanks a lot to the organisers. Looking forward for the next year's anniversary
>>37688579this. every saturday there's something to look forward to.
>>37688576SureThe marker was the best way at the time to attempt to automatize archiving MLP threads.Archive (the guy) set it up in november, the way it worked was that it would comb through every single OP of /co/ and list the ones with specific key words (MLP, pony, twilight sparkle, etc) If you went on the archive website, those would be listed as "potential MLP Gen.". Then it would look through those threads and would look for a SPECIFIC filehash, the marker. If the thread had the marker, the website would point to THAT thread as the MLPgeneral, and that thread would be archived. If the marker gets put on an unrelated thread, not only would you not easily see the MLPGeneral and had to browse through the pages (remember, no catalog at the time) but if Archive wasn't around then any content in thread that got 404 would be lost.At the time, there was no limit on when you could delete one of your post. So, if someone posted the marker (generally at the start of the thread) and was still around 2 to 6 hours later depending on the day when the thread autosage, when a new thread was created, you could instantly delete your old message and post the marker in the new one. That way you are sure that the marker isn't stolen. The downside is a few times trolls could MAKE an MLP thread, wait for a hundred or so reply, and then delete the thread and use the confusion to put the marker in a random non related thread. But generally it worked pretty well, as the archive shows.
>>37688598Oh shit, that's way more complex than I thought it was.
>>37688579I occasionally drop in for the rewatch streams when I have time. The problem is that rewatch is getting to the later seasons, and that doesn't interest me as much. It would be cool if rewatch did a "new" episode plus "old" episode roulation thing or something
>>37687532Wet mane :unf2:
>>37688606Thankfully the rewatch loops to S1 after S7. A couple more weeks and it's kino time again.
>>37688604Ancient problems required ancient Solution, Archive was IMO one of the founder of the fandom in general by making this system. Meanwhile in 2011 /b/ used among all things fucking Know Your Meme as a gallery for a while, the show was trending there for a full year because of it and probably a lot to the spread to normie fandoms.
>>37688618Damn, what a time, the internet isn't what it used to be. I wonder where all those legends are now?
>>37688627Well, I'm still here.Probably a lot are in the MLPG thread still although I haven't ever since /mlp/ became a thing.John Joseco is still alive.I saw someone named yaridovich on the cytube though it could be anybody.I have very very fond memory of the S1 time, then a bunch of people decided to troll /b/ with ponies and it spiralled into the fandom you see today.
>>37688635I forgot one the best aspect was how we "built" the early fandom.Lyra, bonbon, derpy, all of those name were in there. I distinctly remember the guy suggesting DJPON3 (based on dead mau5) when the the rarity episode came out.As I said before, Derpy being a mailpony was one of many interepretation at the time, then Feeling pinkie keen came out, Thiessen had the eyes swapped, and by sheer coincidence, derpy was the one dropping the piano on twilight, and a cannon was made.
>>37688635>>37688640Looking back, I guess 4chan was always on the bleeding edge of FIM, the power of autism is really something else, being such a corner stone its amazing the more normie centric sites were so quick to distance themselves.
>>37688635It's probably yaridovichThe youtube account commented on one of the videos 4 hours ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz8jfu5dcYI
>>37688302>41 tulpa votesExcellent. Our plans to take over the host and form a tulpa-controlled society shall commence soon.
>>37688647Funnily enough, one of the only other non mlp centric forum to talk about MLP to the point of haaving its general was Something Awful. And they had a pretty active, and tame, thread, in the hundred of pages, but then eventually too many other user complained and they banned the subject there. And the SA users went up and made a website called ponygoon, which became roundstable, so nothing was lost.
>>37688598Now I get the "Fuck you and fuck your marker" meme
>>37688598Been in the fandom since early 2011 and never knew about any of this.My respect for the pioneers of pony only grows - those boys put in a Herculean effort to foster the community. Bless 'em.
Damn the AI voices are almost indistinguishable from the real ones now
>>37688658Now there's a name I haven't thought of in a long time. I never thought about the separation of pre-/mlp/ and post, but now I see all the work that was put in.
>>37688678All of what I'm talking about was before february 2011, before the /b/ shit and before S1 even ended. The only other place at the time that I remember having active MLP thread was the allspark forum, a transformer forum, you might remember seeing posts by an MLP animator with a Lyra avatar coming from there.
>>37688022i joined whenever those first few YTP's from Dikekike came out. My brother and I would watch YTP's in general fairly religiously, just how we bonded when we were younger. Eventually I asked myself why I'd never watched the real thing, especially considering at that point there was already a board for it here. Been ever since, wouldn't trade my experiences for just about anything. Love you guys
>went to bed at 3 am, drunk >woken at 5am with my older brother, needing me to come pick him up in New Orleans after his GF threw him out I love driving 40 minutes out, drunk, into a ghetto shithole! How’s my pony friends doing? Decided I’d check on the thread before going back to bed
>>37688688Wh-what’s that On the right, anon?
>>37688658I think there were several other non mlp centric forums that had lengthy mlp threads too. Most of them wouldn't go on to form their own communities though.NeoGAF was one of the more active ones: https://www.neogaf.com/threads/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic.422909/ They had more threads like this for several years, until at least 2017. It was active enough to have a few community projects, like this one: http://web.archive.org/web/20111016012459/http://www.manestreamgames.com/download-the-demo/ The downloads still work if anyone wanted to play it.
What the fuck, when was this /mlp/ Antithology made? Was everyone able to contribute? why did I miss it? I could have contributed something funny FUCKAlso where will I be able to watch it again?
>>37688699It was made for /mlp/con in June, people made it over two months. There's going to be another one next year, so keep an eye out for it.
>>37688682Wow, now that's an experience, did you think at the time that you were building something that would grow to this scale?
>>37688695Notice that this thread was made 27th february 2011. The event that exploded the fandom to global status was the 2 weeks of intense flooding on /b/ at the start of the month and the "pony war" its what made the fandom memetic and caused it to absolutely EXPLODE (its also why the name brony stuck, because /b/rony, get it?) I was talking of places talking about it before that point, like /co/ was.
>>37688699>Also where will I be able to watch it again? You can just save it by right clicking + save video as...
>>37687646>mfw in the cap
>>37688700I'm so mad when I miss these kind of community events but I'll admit I don't spend as much time as before around /mlp/. At least I was able to contribute to some of the dubs. Thanks, I'll try not to miss the next one.
>>37688702My bad. Thanks for point this out
Just woke up. Have they just been playing fan content since the finale ended? Are they going to play Pony Life and the G5 movie or is this the end?
>>37688702And before someone point it out I know the term brony was made on /co/. But it was one of the many terms, we referred ourselves more as /co/lts.When /b/ decided to troll itself with ponies, it leeched EVERYTHING from the /co/ threads, image dumps, meme and whatnot, and somehow applied it on /b/ by making the thread as sickeningly sweets as possible. It's them that pushed the "everypony friendly, everypony loved" narrative that leaked to the rest of the net, and they used the term brony. So when people say that the brony fandom started ironicly, they are sortof correct, because the brony fandom was based on the attitude of a bunch of ultra fast threads on /b/ made to basically piss off /b/, not the /co/ threads who were just talking about the show.
>>37688022Early 2012 for me, though I was aware of the show in 2011 but was a faggot and didn't want to watch it at first. I remember joining for the last half of Season 2, and watching that finale live was one of my fondest memories. Was very involved in the fandom up until around 2014/15, when admittedly I started to drift away from ponies. A mix of nostalgia and curiosity brought me back in 2019 and I've been here ever since.
>>37688704Thanks a lot
>>37688707If you haven't attended either of the /mlp/cons I would strongly recommend it, it's the best event on the board behind the anni imo
>>37688709Pony Life hasn't been played yet, and the G5 movie should come after that. Remember Pony Life is almost 5 hours of content.I'm guessing they are pushing the content as much as possible so burguers can enjoy the movie too during their afternoon. Friday night would be the comfiest moment to watch the movie.
>>37688711Is there any place to view these old /b/ threads? The /co/ threads are well covered by now, but there doesn't seem to be any archive left that have these /b/ threads.
So is the anniversary over now? Did Pony Life air?
>>37688709Yeah, they're getting to those.
>>37688716Thanks anon. I'm mad at myself because I used to contribute a lot with reaction faces and edits and shit like years ago, some of which I still see posted around today, and and I would love to have participated in something like this, but RealLife™ now gets in the way and I can't hang around here as much as before. Thanks again for the heads up, I'll set a reminder in my calendar just in case I forget it. >>37688723Not yet. Also the G5 movie will come after Pony Life. I'm guessing after the movie, only then, the stream will be really over.
>>37688717I really fucking hope they can push the G5 movie to like, 5pm est. I'm pretty fucking bummed I'll be missing Pony Life because that was unironically a really fucking comfy part of last year's anni stream, and it's also the only time I'll ever watch pony life. I'm pissed I couldn't make any of the movies/specials.
>>37688022It was mid-September, 2011. Some one on the IMDb message boards (the Politics board, specifically) started an off topic thread titled "What's the deal with My Little Pony?" I clicked it out of curiosity and this was my first time learning about the new show and the fandom. I decided based on the replies to look into it and was hooked. Sometime in 2013 I found my way here.
>>37688728All the :chad: posting about Kino Life and skipping dozens of videos one after the other, even FiM episodes, to watch more Kino Life, was one of the highlights of the last year's anni lmao
>>37688722I honestly don't know, I avoided going much there (those threads were more nefarious for /co/, at some point a Mod came and banned a bunch of people, including drawfags, for a week because he seriously thought we were sending people on /b/ to troll, even though we wanted to be the less annoying possible for the rest of the site because being annoying meant more people trolling the general.)What I can tell you is that I remember at the time, a thread on /b/ could go from page 1 to 404 in less than 20 minutes, so the threads on /b/ had to be INSANELY fast to keep up being on the front page the way it was. Most of them were FULL of namefags acting nice and posting memes. I don't think those threads were very good at CREATING those memes though because of how fast it was. Maybe you can find an actual /b/read veteran in this threaad though.
>>37688022Knew vaguely of the ride in 2012 after trying to find HotDiggedyDemon's Jerry series.Didn't watch the show until I watched a shitty camrip of EqG in college when I should've been doing work. Then I watched seasons 1 through 3, and kept up with episodes as they aired from then on.
>>376880222010 reporting in. I was a tweenager who had recently gotten free computer access. Ponies weren't everywhere, really, but they spread far enough on the internet to pique my curiousity, so I checked it out. I had never really seen or taken part in an actual fandom before then, so it was a bit mind-blowing. I was kind of autistically scared of getting too involved in anything, though, so I never got real deep or participated much beyond watching ponies on synchtube or bntheater. I ended up almost missing the entirety of season 4 live, and was too busy trying to become a normie in college to get much deeper into the fandom once season 5 started. Then I lost touch with my old internet buddies and realized I was lonely without them, and so I doubled down on internet autism by diving back into ponies around the time season 8 started. Honestly, I regret not getting deeper into the fandom earlier. The golden years of pony passed me by, and I could have had a front row seat instead of hanging around the back.
>>37688677No? What AIs have you heard that are that good?
This antithology reminds me of the way I approach the Jackass movies. I like it overall but there are some parts that really make me wish to skip them.
>>37688755I don't really enjoy any of the fandom drama or /pol/ skits
>>37688747not him, but https://u.smutty.horse/mdeyjkvnrxh.mp3 comes pretty close
>>37688732That part was fucking amazing. People wanting to finish/watch Kino Life so badly they skipped an actual episode. That was when the power of :chad: became absolute, unquestionable. Sad I'll be missing it, but maybe I'll get lucky and be able to catch the tail end of it if the mods continue to play fan content/choice FiM episodes. One can hope.
>>37688759I thought the invasion of griffonia was pretty funny because it had actual effort put in, but the low-effort /pol/ skits and low effort fandom drama skits will age like milk.
>>37688771Oh shit, weren't those some kinda candy from last year's secret santa?
>>37688769NTA Effort in production maybe, but I'm not interested in /mlpol/'s edgefics. The whole thing is a slog to sit through and by the end it's sheer cringe. Cut this, along with the tranny stuff and the antithology would be worthwhile.

Read so much pony fanfiction after that that I watched the show proper a month or so later, then came to /mlp/ shortly after for the greens, and staying to write my own from 2017 onwards. Had to stop back in 2019 on account of some life issues, but after this anni stream, I'm almost certainly going to get back into it, whatever form it happens to take.

I know the anni isn't quite over yet, but I just wanted to say this year has been great, I have to commend the mods for getting their shit together since last year. Only complaint I have is a lot of the more popular episodes were aired at really impossible times for eurofags, though I guess staying up all night is part of the tradition. Felt like this time around everyone was a lot less argumentative and a lot more harmonious, even during the shitty seasons we found a way to have fun. >>37687532This has been a great annie. I saw the seasons I wanted to, and otherwise had a great reminder of the faggots I like. Only gripe is the movie was during the AM.
>>37688386This is almost exactly the same as my experience, Anon. Joined in 2012 like you (only in February rather than October), like you my interest waned around the end of Season 4. Unfortunately I differ from you in that I always looked back on my brony era as "cringe", I partly blame the popularity of cringe culture around that time, but just like you I came across an old pony comic in early 2019, had that same wave of nostalgia. At the time I genuinely didn't think there WAS a brony fandom anymore. I assumed /mlp/ and places like EQD had died years ago, so I was surprised to see how active things still were. I rewatched the show out of curiosity, while also catching the new episodes of S9, and I pretty much went through another pony honeymoon phase, rediscovering my love for it in a much bigger way than in 2012. Since then I have gotten back into writefagging and thanks to that I have been putting way more focus in my writing.

>>37688022I first found the show in 2010 when I was 8. I was going through the channels while my mom was making breakfast, and for some reason, MLP on the Hub was the one that caught my eye. Since I didn't know about the fandom yet, I felt weird for being a boy that liked a girl show, and I knew that my mom would have given me shit for it if she knew. So after watching it in secret online, I found out about bronies in 2011 on this (deceased) website called Whirled. Think Second Life but a flash based browser(and better). There were tons of MLP fan groups and pony avatars. I was happy as fuck to find out that there was a community of people like me.I started watching the new episode streams with friends I made on Whirled, and remember thinking the gak meme was so funny. Also felt cool knowing about an inside joke that only other pony fans would understand(cringe but I was a kid). Somehow I found TLT and other pony artists, along with fan animations. Been a fan since then
>>37689056Glad to know I'm not the only idiot who went through a "ponies are cringe" phase....which somehow coincided with my 2nd pokemon obsession phase.
>>37689136Yes it's not 'bad', it's mind numbing but that's just part of how the skit thing was designed cause it's for 3 year old kids on youtube. The actual scenes aren't bad and can be kinda cute.
>>37688888A few times during the stream. A couple of shed tears here and there.
>>37688022Sometime during early S2 I think. I don't remember much from back then but it was sometime then. I've kept my powerlevel in check in public but I've been on /mlp/ pretty much since then. The ride is eternal.
Wait there's a whole regular thirteen episodes worth of this?
Hay Anon how you like my new manestyle?
Pony Life is fucking awful. But I'll be damned if the theme song isn't catchy. And at least the mane 6 are friends instead of screaming at each other all the time like in season 9.

>>37688688>>37688690>>37688771>>37688774Yeah, I remember getting these for some for anons as gifts or extra items when helping them purchasing stuff from China back in 2019, it was a fun project at the expense of anon's paycheck. PSA for anons that still own those pills. If the production date on the packaging is marked in 2019, you should not consume these pills for your own safety, they're out of date, the pills has lost it's magic. You may encounter negative side effects if you consume outdated pills. Those were milk tablet candies with MLP packaging from Leda Foods, blue one begin normal milk flavour, pink ones with strawberry flavours. I got those from TaoBao. Just checked it again and unfortunately it seems that I cant find any available sellers out there now, so I guess it's probably obsolete, there's still peppa pig ones though. However if one really wants it, one can still contact the company for more info, looks like it's only for bulk buyers, and they only service mainland business customers so it's almost impossible for the normal consumer to get small quantities. >http://www.spdl.com/showbizinfo/398975.html

>>37689265ThisIt feels like a post S3 shitpost
>>37689265Don't forget, the cutest freaking costumes.
I just woke up, still partially drunk because I got absolutely plastered during the finale, but I'd like to say that as someone who never watched post S7 I completely understand the hatred of S8/S9 now. Those two seasons felt like trudging through mud filled trenches of human remains while the world around you gets smothered in the fire and flame of artillery shells. The only thing that made any of that remotely bearable was getting to fredpost and justpost with all of you otherwise at many points I was debating on just skipping it all. I don't care what anyone says, those two seasons are not canon. Calling S8/S9 MLP is an insult to the show as a whole. Anyone who gladly played a role in making S8/S9 what is was deserves everything coming towards them for what they did.

I don't know why seeing Tank so old and still caring about her makes me feel
>>37688022In between S2 and S3, my best friend and I put on Netflix, searched for something to watch and chose MLP with the sole purpose to bash it for how stupid it was.We watched the first episode and 5 minutes in, we were dead silent and watched both parts of the two parter, turned to eachother and gushed on how much we loved it.A few months later we were going to go on vacation together, in the weeks leading up to it we talked about marathoning Ponies and hanging out. But a few days before vacation, he went dead silent on me. After 10 years of being best friends, talking to eachother every day, hanging out EVERY weekend, he just disappeared from my life by choice.I tried to reach out but was met with nothing and I was too hurt to physically confront him on what had happened. I struggled with suicidal thoughts and can’t form any relationships due to trauma of emotional abandonment. It has now been 9 years and I still miss him every day; I hear he’s married and has a kid.I’ll never get my friend back or have these last 9 years of loneliness replaced with 9 years of happiness, but whenever I watch MLP it takes me back to a similar, happier time and it reminds me that no matter how hurt I was by friendship, ultimately Friendship IS magic.Tl:dr: MLP has singlehandedly been the positive light in my life. I’m only alive because of the show.
See haber, this is how you write the mane 6 being friends
The first season of Pony Life is pretty hit or miss, the second season is better, thankfully.
>>37689474Hasbro could have easily commissioned 10 more seasons of pony life with the money they blew on the Haberverse.

Pony Life is unironically on par with seasons 1 and 2. I can't believe I haven't watched this show sooner.Glad I can enjoy it with you kings.
>>37689569I would say that it is genuinely on par with S5-S6
>>37689569Pony Life is its own thing. Doesn't compare to FiM really. But it's definitely more watchable than season 9.
>season long arcHow will be ever recover FiM bros?
This is such fucking kino I can't believe this
>>37688022I joined it back in early 2012 myself. I had seen some references to it already on YouTube I think just randomly since I enjoyed watching YTPMVs and whatnot (which ponies became a sizable influence in), but never really had a desire to watch the show. That changed however when one of my IRL friends who was also fairly internet-savvy suggested I watch it because they thought I'd like it for whatever reason, and they were quite right. I remember getting hooked immediately after the first 2 episodes and went to download the entire first season to watch it after that, and I've been pony-ing ever since.
Unlike S8 and S9, Pony Life lessons don't suck fucking ass.
>>37689597>>37689618It precisely fulfills the expectations that it initially sets out to fulfill. Nothing subversive about Pony Life. After so many years of the antifim, this is refreshing beyond words.
>>37689569I enjoy it but it's nowhere near as good as majority of FiM. Better than the last two seasons. The artstyle really isn't doing it for me either.

Potion Novabros ...
Why does pony life has so many weird fetishes. Feels like I'm watching TTG where they can't stop talking about farts and making fat jokes
>>37689676Because most of these fetishes spawned from kids shows in the first place

>>37689738IYou're right, 'll make a drawing whenever I've got time.
It's surprisingly not too terrible. The potion nova ep was cute. A bit fast paced, but cute.
KINO LIFE CHADS, USE YOUR ENERGY TO KEEP THE STREAM PLAYING KINO LIFE FOR ANOTHER 4 HOURS. Or just like, 3 and a half hours, I could probably work with that.
>>37689746It's not exactly good but it's fairly wholesome and fun, so it's hard to hate it. Just dumb fast paced humor, but it isn't trying to be anything more than that
I have no idea what's going on and lose sight of the whole plot within about five seconds of the episode starting. But I guess not knowing the plot to Pony Life is an improvement compared to knowing the plot to season 9? Especially with how far down the bottle I am. Is this the point where I say kino?

>>37689746>>37689776I can't criticize it too much either. Of course the plot is super simple, jokes are kinda stupid and pacing is way too fast but in a way all of that is okay. >>37690681>That quote, very wise.Unironically changed my outlook on life, or at least pony. I'm not exaggerating.>A bit different here.>Simply can't decide. I like a lot of them.I think that's not different at all, I think that's exactly what the quote is talking about.
Is there any chance to push the next anthology for AFTER the movie? We eurpoors also would like to enjoy the highlights of the stream at like, not 5am again. Or at the very least, to stop adding new content.Thank
>>37689444I'm sorry that happened to you anon.
>>37690701Nigger its the weekend, what are you crying about
>>37690701At this point you'll have more luck padding out Pony Life until morning than trying to keep the movie not too late
>>37690717>Nigger its the weekendAGAIN!?
>>37690717>>37690731What the fuck, I had the same reaction
>>37690731>>37690737Oh fuck it really is. Thought you were fucking with everyone for a moment.
Did this get played on the stream by the way? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0xT3MFERzk
>>37690717>its the weekend
>>37689691Nope, you're thinking about Ron 'the hymen divider' Schneider.
>>37690717I’ve already been staying up all night for the last week, I only have so much stamina Anon
Do you guys think G4 will have a reboot or a continuation at some point? Probably in less than 10 years if G5 is a failure.
If this hasn't been played yet, could we add it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xM_GvUUf800
>>37690701I swear it looks like this year's Anni has been taken over by Australians.
>>37690759Maybe. With how popular G4 was, the characters may end up like the Transformers where the popular characters always get brought back. Or they may end up just continuing to make toys of them, as they appear to still be doing. But who knows.
So They planning of re-airing Season 1 to end on a high note?
>>37690778>>37690778We are streaming the g5 movie to end with a high note
>>37690439you turn into a blackhole:n:
When is the fucking movie gonna start faggots!!Aaaarhh whose dick do I need to suck to get an answer?!! My eyes are bleeding!!
>>37689097my steam profiledonk said he's gonna run a 1.4 + calamity server if calamity gets updated to 1.4 and there will be people willing to play
>>37690759Or perhaps in 30 years like Ducktales.
>>37690816Who the fuck knows
Wait what the fuck? Pony Life is actually fun?It flanderizes and exaggerates the mane 6, but unlike season 9 its actually entertainingPlus the whole world being completely different and ridiculous helps that point
>>37690556It should be basically confirmed there is a fat fetishist working on Pony Life, right?
>>37690840Plus it's got like... actual continuity. And the arcs cover many episodes. Unlike the pure amnesia shitfest called late FiM
>>37690840I just like to see the mane 6 being the best of friends and solve problems through genuine cooperation.Call me sappy, but in my current state I get teary eyed whenever the m6 hug at the end of an episode and reaffirm their friendship.
>>37690846No kidding, it happens in every episode.
>Made it back in time for Pony Life season 2Fucking nice. Thank you based mods and based watcher for delaying the start-ish of season 2.
>>37690690The quote says:"instead share the love amongst them all until the time comes;that you can decide without hesitation or doubt."I can't decide because i would feel guilty about leaving others.I love them all and always will. I believe this is the only right way, at least i feel like this is.AND, can you really decide? Our tastes are changing, as we are with time. Leaving the one for the other isn't good. This is what the quote is about, finding the right one with no doubt that he/she is the best thing in the whole Universe. Best thing, that would make you forget about feelings of the others. But how can you be sure for all the 1000%, Anon? Because this much, if not more, is needed to be sure.
>>37690913Well, in my case, I take it to mean that I'll probably be able to decide once I actually get to Equestria. Once you're actually there, finding a mare to fall in love with should happen naturally, and once you do then there you go that's your one. Then you start a family and get to raising foals.
>>37690840It's teen titans go for mlp
Now that the dust has settled, reminder:>fredposting ends as soon as Starlight and Trixie episode starts>countposting ends too>even when the episode itself isn't that goodReminder that Trix and Glimglam carried the last 2 seasons and should have been given a spinoff.
:just:posting is it now
>>37690944I would argue it's handled better.I'm sorry I doubted you kino life.
>>37690840It's not especially great, but in a stream like this it's kinda fun. I don't think I could take watching this alone and it does wear on you after like 20 episodes.
Lads, bit of a tangent from the anni, but PonePaste needs help.>>37690629>>37690836
I'm not going to be in stream for the finale due to work, wanted to thank everyone for showing up and making it another special week. Even if I couldn't participate very much. Thanks lads. I hope this year was satisfactory compared to last.
>>37691041It's been great, see you next year! /)
>>37690928Oh, In this case, yea, i agree with you.I am kinda demented there, because I just love the characters and will feel bad about liking others less because that might hurt them..., characters, that are not real..., just, hurt them, in my head. Wasn't planning the relationships.
>>37691041Was good. Thanks Lad.
Natalie chads rise up
>>37691041great work man, good luck with your studies
>>37691041Thanks for all the work and the fun memories it created. It has been an excellent stream.
>>37691056I feel you anon, same here. Once I get there, it's going to be different when they're actual real ponies walking around you, and then you can interact with them and find a soulmate. But right now, having a full overview of everypony's life and then exacting judgement on them to find who's the "best" just feels wrong. I'm a random guy, why would I get to "screen" through all the ponies to find the best one and take it all to myself?
We got too cocky kino kings
>>37691118a cat is fine too
>S1 is the best season>again
>>37691004apology for poor englishwhen were you when PonePaste dies?i was sat at home watching anni stream when anon say‘PonePaste is kill’‘no
>>37691118At least the cat is using "everypony" instead of -creature bullshit.
>>37691004Didn't something like this happen multiple times already? Who the fuck even bothers attacking a place such as that?
>>37690439It would be extremely painful.
>>37690609It was part of the board software rewrites that happened around the time hiro took over.
>>37691167You’re a big guy.
>>37690840Did you think we were lying? Pony Life is like The Room, you have to have the right expectations. If you're expecting the best seasons of FiM, then you'll be very disappointed. However, if you're in the mood to laugh at something ridiculous, you'll be alright; and if you watch it with others, it's a fucking great time. The people that stick around for Pony Life just want to have a good laugh and a good time. It's actually a pretty comfy experience, and was one of the highlights of last year for me. I'd never watch Pony Life on my own, but it's a great time to watch in cytube. Also I remember hearing that the VA's of the mane 6 basically just made up the plots through recording sessions, so they were the primary "writers" of Pony Life. Just the VA's shooting the shit more or less.
Looks like my final drink consumption is>36 white claws>2 handles of vodka>2,604 grams of ethanol>110 standard drinks>~7,376kcal total>average of ~13 standard drinks a day>average of ~922 kcal a dayAverages are assuming alcohol consumption was spread evenly which it most certainly wasn't.Great anni these year and thanks to all who made it possible. I'm gonna go deal with alcohol withdrawal for the next week now.
>>37690622if memory serves correctly that was changed after moot left in 2014.
Dash wants that pink pony princess pussy.
Wait how come Pony Life S2 is only 14 epidoes?
>>37691237Hasbro didn't pay for more.
>>37691236Me too, thanks.
I remember I did cried a little with the Pony Life finale, let's see if that happens again
>>37691201Holy shit dude, that vodka consumption is crazy. My tally.>6 bottles of wine>~30 beerIt was quite nice, always had a slight buzz but not much more.
>>37690772>taken over by AustraliansCroikey, lad! Wot evvah gave y' that oideah?
I'm too emotional for this shit. The childish little moments are getting me like nothing else right now.
>>37691041Great stream this year! All in all I think this stream was more enjoyable than last year. Even though we didn't have Larson this year, or invent :chad: posting this year, it was a lot of fun. I've noticed the anniversary stream has a very different energy than the rewatch stream, which is something I didn't fully appreciate until this year. You better be hosting it next year.
>>37691131>foreign creature learns to adopt the local cultural mannerisms instead of imposing his ownHeh, only in pony reality...
>>37691201Out of curiosity, how much do you weigh, and how often do you drink throughout the week?
>>37691237Your fault for not like it when was on air./mlp/ have the fault of everything
mime horse pussymihussy
>>37691331>the anniversary stream has a very different energy than the rewatch streamThat is intentional. The rewatch audience consistently and actively works to set itself apart from all other streams.
>>37691350128lbs and I don't drink too often, maybe like every other week. My family is dominated with heavy drinkers on both sides so I'm gonna owe my metabolism to genetics.
For some reason I feel Pony Life like a clown show that no one really hate or anything(some people actually enjoy it) but never bother to even watch of talk about it after they watch it one time.
>>37691394Remarkably, Pony Life has grown its audience organically. During the premiere nobody cared. At last year's marathon stream we had like 10 people. Now there are already ca. 30 people watching. People are gradually discovering this show because it's genuinely made from a place of love for the source material. This is quite unprecedented in this fandom.
>>37691394That's exactly what it is, really. I don't think many people would be against saying that it is pure filler, whether you like it or not.
Pony Life is way too fast paced. I'm sure it's perfect for zoomer ADHD riddled brains, but it's making my slow boomer brain exhausted and I have to keep taking breaks every other episode lest I get a headache.
>>37691041'twas nice, thanks for everything you guys do.
>>37691419Yeah, same, but I'm not even that old. I'm 25.
>>37691394It's definitely 100% filler and has some issues (especially >>37691419) but at its core it's a show about Mane6 being friends and resolving minor SoL problems. Can't ask for more than that.
>>37691419I use hard liquor to smooth out my brain to keep up, and so far it's working.
>>37691390>128lbsBro what? Are you eating enough?
>>37691394I still have trouble getting past the bean mouths, but I am finding it more palatable than I thought I would.
>>37691394I like PL since the day 1 but to be honest it's the cartoon that will not generate any kind of relevant conversation, even the shitpost about it just resolve to "kino life" and "u mad". It's a nice timekiller but nothing else
70 hours no sleep bros...
any good threads on the board right now? haven't dipped out of this one since it started
>>37691443I've been eating this whole time.
>>37691456Have you started to hear the voices yet?
>>37691419That's like the only major complaint I have. I can only watch 2-3 episodes before I need a break to refocus. This kid's show is more mentally draining than most forms of media I've seen.
>>37691419also I don't think we're helping much by blitzing through all of them with no downtime in between
>>37691041>Even if I couldn't participate very much. That would explain the great quality of the chat and stream in general(specially the lack of furry shit).Consider to have the same number of participation or less the next year
>>37691394>>37691413>>37691435If Pony Life were a fan-made YouTube skit series, it probably would have been pretty widely praised since it's just 5 minute animated skits about the M6 doing cartoony antics, but since Hasbro produced it, anons looked at it from some specific vantage point and wouldn't accept it for what it was.

>>37691485Dont advertise the TF2 thread it's overrun with discord trannies and the server admin is a trans sniper main who banned an innocent and frequent player because he offended his tranny medic girlfriend
We have now crossed exactly one week of being here in this stream.
>>37691483To be honest this is the first time watching this and to be honest I don't give a shit about hasbro. After the leak we learned they were more reasonable than other part of the staff(haber wanting to replace the mane6 with diversity squad right in season 6).Hasbro as much it's feel like an external force and nothing else.
>>37691516>an innocent and frequent player because he offended his tranny medic girlfriendWas it you?
>>37691516It's irrelevant anyway; I heard that he was shutting down and decommissioning the server after this anni concludes.
Time until the movie?
Pony Life gets a 9/10 overall
Well, that was that. I already forgot everything in Pony Life after only a few minutes...again.
Thanks for the amazing stream, Pony Life brothers.
Man, i didn't want to feel sad again and that finale hit me
Pony Life is fun to shitpost at, but your brain is really fried after a dozen episodes.
>>37691041It was amazing, thanks for everything
The second season was better than FiM both s8 and 9, not even memeing, they really did a good job with the continuity. I'm going to miss Pony Life, I can feel proud to say I watched every episode on the day they came.
Kino life never fails to entertain
Kinolifebros ... it was an honor to meet you on the frontlines again. I hope we can come together again in the future.
I expected it to suck and it ended up being pleasantly comfy and fun. Sweet Celestia does it fry your brain though.
