What background mares have genuinely good threads on their own? Roseluck Thread has had good content here and there and is generally cozy. Lyra thread is more endearing than the threads for the mane 6 and princesses. I wish the Octavia thread and Minuette threads were just as good. I also wish Carrot Top or Bon-Bon had any regular threads at all or if they do I always miss them.

I do at times wish other background ponies had a share of genuine attention in that way. It still irritates me to this day how retards love to reduce them to le muffins, le hands, le wubs, or other superficial memeshit, which is why it can seem like they have no established personality in comparison to main characters.

The thread now is just a couple of Anons that loved her so much and noticed every little thing about her with a big amount of horsiness to fill in the gaps. Lyrathread is probably the horsiest thread on /mlp/ for that reason. Every mare has a lot to work off of some background ponies like Minuette have even more. For Lyra she's seen to be first in Canterlot, something established as a fancy unicorn city later in the episode. and in the rest of the first season she's in Ponyville which is already a lot to draw out of. She did the same thing Twilight did but she wasn't forced to with any assignment or duty. She did it out of choice. For most of those early seasons you can see her being energetic mare especially in the early seasons where she'd be the only pony out of many hopping around. But just as easily as her getting swept up in excitement you could see her sitting down to enjoy nice quiet moments, the bench scene being the most famous. Which incidentally ties up well with the symbolism of a Lyre, wisdom and moderation. And this is what we can gather in just the first two seasons. The only thing that the later seasons gave off the top of my head is she has a little devious shid streak with the oat thievery, she went to the same magic school as Twilight, and later on because on inconsistency and she is pretty tribalist where other unicorns like Sugarbelle weren't as bad. There are some subtle things some prompts take from the fandom memeing. Like despite her horsiness doesn't seem really affected by Anon's weird body language which makes her more likely to appreciate headpats and ear scritches. But those are few and far between. Who's your background waifu and what attracted you to her? What qualities about her make you forget about everything going on in the foreground when you see her? What are your favorite scenes of her?
