like I think Celestia and Cadance would make a fantastic double act.I like to think Celestia raised Cadance like a daughter. Watching through season 8 for the first time and just got to Horse Play. I just have to say wow did it do Celestia awful. Are you really trying to tell me that even though she's likely spent hundreds of years dealing with diplomats and other official business but she can't act? She's never had to learn to fake a smile or anything? It wasn't even bad acting either, it was just her straight up being retarded and I find it impossible to believe she wouldn't understand what the acting class was trying to teach her. The only thing I can think to explain it was that she was purposefully messing with everyone because at the very end she shows she can act when she jokes that she is stepping down to pursue acting instead. I liked when she showed she was actually competent and quickly made a plan and directed everyone to salvage the play. I wish it focused on her being smart and cunning instead of completely making her look like an idiot.
