>>36332145Anon, thank you so much for the image! I've already done Page 120 (Wonderbolt French Toast) but if you could do that page just so I can check it. The contents pages excluding pic related would be very useful. And possibly the copyright notice in the back pages, I don't know what page number it is, but the text starts with "Media Lab Books" "For inquiries call" (and perhaps if you could tell me what page number it is)These are the pages requested from the previous threads.33 (Brown sugar Snickerdoodles)112 (Pony Poke Cake)115 (Cake Pops)118 (Celebration Cinnamon Rolls)There's probably more, but the trouble is I generally only know I need a reference when I attempt to start doing them. Please don't feel as though you have to do all the pages right away.

Anons, I'm desperate enough to ask for help here:Can any of (You) recommend a mini oven to me? As much as I love my dorm apartment, I don't have an oven. I'm willing to pay up to 200€ (that's like 240 USD), but after reading and comparing online tests, I'm more annoyed than anything and need someone who got their hands on a mini oven tell me "it just werks". Due to lockdowns, I can't go to the stores and fiddle some ovens myself. I already missed out on baking Christmas cookies, I've missed out on my favorite dishes for a year now.
>>36347780i don't really know much about those,i just use very smol family oven, i think any over would do just fine, sometimes you might have to find out the perfect temperature for baking, the temperature on the book does not goes well sometimes.
l was about to bake apple pie but i fucking forgot to defrost the pie crustm looks like we're having bao for tomorrow breakfast
>>36347780I have no experience with mini ovens but I'm willing to bet they don't work very well. Does your dorm not have a common kitchen?
>>36347780if you have a rice cooker you can try do celestias pancake. i think it's possible >>36349188
>>36348123>>36349155>>36349195Thank (You) anons, I'll continue my search. When I want to try the princess pancakes, I'll probably adjust them to work in a pan. Don't have any rice cooker/bread maker/fryer either. And our dorm is divided into basically equal apartments for 1 to 2 persons, and each apartment has the same small, oven-less kitchen.
Hope you guys don't mind if I post a mostly finished page. (Pony vectors can take a while to do.)

>>36348884it's finally time for Apple Pie.have been craving for that in a long time
>>36358819got me mum to help shaping the crust, and i forgot to put the lemon juice in the end, so i just sorta drizzle it on the top trying to fill in through the holes. Also downscaled the oortion to half than the original recipe, besides the flour part and the spices
>>36358825overall looks good.also skipped the egg wash befor baking cause already gotten lazy today
>>36358825>>36358828Oh shit you even got the lattice pattern!
>>36358828this time there's still some issues.good part is we nailled the crust. On the other side, i put too much nutmeg (although i like nutmeg) but there's the tangy/麻 feeling when taking a big bite, i also put double the amount of flour and corn starch, since last time it felt too watery, this time it felt quite dry, although it now resemble the consistency if IKEA apple pie that i had before. pretty interesting, still gotta figure out the perfect combination for the fillings. overall it's still alright, finally got what im craving for.how about you anon?

Instead making pie crust from scratch is way easier & cheaper (if real butter is pricy just use cheap ones). For my first time doing it it was a complete mess and i probably fucked up the ratio many times. But for the second time i just follow this recipehttps://youtu.be/a_GANJFyJ4U?t=68I don't have fancy equipment so i just use fork instead, it's actually way easier than I expected once i had some experience. Now i enjoyed making the pie crust more than cutting apples.

>>36387569oh shit nice!yea with those small ovens the heat can come down also try moving the rack up a slot if you dont need the headroom
>>36387650Thanks, this aligns with my first impressions, so I'll keep this in mind. It's a very small oven, 19L only, but it's enough for me, space is scarce in a dorm room. 75€ well spent, I'd say.

>>36412506I skipped the cimanone because I don't enjoy it mixed with dark cherries AAAaaNNNND I used frozen dark cherries instead of pie filling. I don't enjoy the gloopy gloppy corn syrup goo. I thawed the cherries and added them on top of the cream filling. I also omitted the vanilla extract because I used vanilla sugar in the cream. A sprinkle of sugar on top of the buttered tortillas and baked. Kept the small taco size tortillas because why have one big one when you can have three of these?!
>>36412519Not gonna lie, they turned out better than I thought and as they only took a few minutes to bake I will be making these again. I'm gonna wrap one up and save it for my breakfast at work tomorrow.
>>36412539Also, I baked them on a sheet of non-stick foil so I didn't add any butter or spray to the fan. These are not greasy at all.

>>36412506>>36412530They look like little pockets of yum. I like that you made smaller ones. I like cinnamon so I would have kept that in, but subbing frozen cherries for lame store-bought pie filling was a good move. Good stuff Anon.
>>36412635Don't be jealous, make some. Not too gourmet, just cheap and easy. Tortillas are pretty cheap and the cherries I got on sale but you could use some kind of jam or jelly. >>36420953GAH I was attending a wedding during the last /mlp/ con so I was not nearly as involved as I could have been, and this time around I am going all in I will definitely consider participating in something like this but I cannot be the host of it, I've got ideas for several other threads that I will also be involved in someone please consider taking charge on this though!in the meantime we can brainstorm about what such a contest might look like for example, how will the dishes be judged and ranked when they cannot be tasted?
My first time in this general. How many times has it been said already that horses shouldn't eat bread, chocolate, and dairy?
>>36421791mlp ponies eat pony bread, pony chocolate, and pony dairy
>>36421791>chocolateThe biggest risk is if you have a racehorse, he can be disqualified if they detect theobromine. It's classed as a performance-enhancing stimulant. Getting enough to actually poison a horse is unlikely due to their size. Even a dog generally has to eat a whole bar of baker's chocolate to be at risk of death. That said, you shouldn't give your horse chocolate anyway, it's like a sort of double-caffeine for them. None of this goes for ponies, as they're clearly as different from IRL equines as humans are from chimpanzees.
>>36421947>whole bar of baker's chocolateAlso, the more processed it is, the less theobromine will still be present. Heating it breaks it down, so most chocolate candies have very little, which is why I mentioned baker's chocolate. It's much more concentrated.
>>36421778anyone have ideas for the contest?it would be silly to judge it based primarily on visual presentation no?
>>36357737When I made eggnog for the first time in 2019, it was amazing! Awesome taste and texture, easily out classed store bought. When I recently made it, it turned out awful.
