Geats Final Talk summary>Kan (Ace) was told the ending of Geats at the start and acted towards that storytelling by being all knowing always. Even when changes were made, he was told it right away so that he knew how to act during certain moments. He never questioned why Ace's father wasn't important as it was always the story of a son and his mother. He does wonder if maybe it will come up someday>Ryuga (Keiwa) thought Keiwa grew the most throughout the show. He went from someone with grand ambitions to something more grounded. Whenever something unlucky happened though, he did felt bad as it was like restarting all over again, but he thought this is just like Keiwa for it to happen and went with it. Does Ex-Aid actually have medical drama elements and do they feel substantial? I admit that's what sounded the most interesting to me about the whole thing, a Kamen Rider series framed through a medical setting, as I love doctor stories and it seems natural to correlate that more mundane form of saving lives with being a villain-fighting hero.

Toku is the kind of thing that has to be sponatneous sometimes to work with changing schedules, actor availability, and last minute ideas, sure, but when it contradicts set up to important story elements, like Vice's eratic characterization does, it becomes a problem that affects how I'm able to view the show as a whole. Vice never clicked with me as the second protagonist for this reason, and to me, he brought Ikki down as a character by being so unfocussed. Ikki also has his share of problems though, so it isn't like it was just Vice who didn't click for me.

Watching older Riders, I've noticed that they feel more, I dunno, "lived in." You see all these places that look and feel like actual locations rather than just dressed up sets and you have plenty of scenes of characters just casually doing everyday things or traveling around in the city.
