Finally found a good article about baking POM joints so the paint doesn't just flake off. But basically:Spray with Tamiya Surface Primer.Bake at 120C for 20 minutes. Take some time to make sure your oven/toaster oven doesn't swing past 120C as 130C is when POM starts to deform. Strong base for painted joints get. Needed some non-standard stuff for a couple projects that I couldn't get from the usual model brands so I bought a couple cheap toy things from amazon. The umbrellas were perfect but the stuff I needed from the figure turned out to be too big due to being 1/6 scale so now I'm waiting on a cheap 1/12 scale equivelent.

How come nobody has tried selling Gaia in Europe before anyway? It's not like it's an obscure brand or anything, and even shit like GPaint had EU distributors.
So my family bought a handful of Tamiya paints for my birthday. Several small jars of X and XF paints. I looked it up and turns out the difference is the X paint is a glossy finish and the XF paint is supposed to be more of a matte finish. I've never painted a kit before but considering you finish it off with a matte topcoat when you're completely done with the kit, does it matter if you use the glossy X paint or the XF matte paint? Also are Tamiya paints any good or is there a better brand? I'm brush painting if it makes any difference since I don't have the cash to get a airbrush setup.
