I got to play the 10PVE mode when they did a surprise transition mid-match into it, it was actually a really fun surprise. I think the final wave had 10k trash dinos and a giga T-Rex and we only had 8 lives split between the team. We ended it with 4/10 players alive and no revives left. So I'm cautiously optimistic that since it'll be on gamepass it might actually survive.

You know the funny thing about Barbatos being nerfed is that there will still be people crying that it's still too OP. Now look at it, Barbatos will require more skill to kill anything past 1000 HP and its stuns and ult will be its only redeeming factor. Not even sure if people will be able to get MVP as Barbatos after the nerf is implemented. Barbatos is NOT for new players now, that's for sure.

People have been crying about Barbatos since release even when he has never been a top 5 character. Him in last patch was probably the first time he possibly slightly above average.
At least he's not GM sniper, a consistent bottom 5 characters that shitter always overrate and think that he's a top tier. The only buff he ever got was the the slight ammo buff that all range units got so it might as well be a universal buff, rather than an exclusive buff to him. He was considered the most "controversial" to receive the ammo buff too

The GM Sniper is not as "overrated" as you say, it's really more so people don't like the fact that there can be 2 snipers on one side with chance of one-shotting people. Also, that ammo buff was a long time ago and I don't think people care about GM Sniper as much anymore unless the Steam forums have something to say otherwise about that.
Barbatos on the other hand is just the perfect tool for scare tactics and punishing dumb people with slow reaction times and bad awareness. He may not be top 5, but he's at least top 5 in scaring players. With this upcoming nerf, it'll be harder for him to kill anything and slightly easier to counter-play against Barbatos.

When the kick ends, it puts a hard stop on your momentum if you're in the air and also stops your boost from regenerating during the animation. Staying on the ground eliminates both of these drawbacks.

There is some skill gap in shooting still but I think positioning is more accurate rather than "movement". A lot of people are getting caught alone or swinging out/sitting in angles where they get shot by multiple angles. Some players just need better timing on their challenge or know how to cover certain angles for your teammates etc

I played MZaku some more. I don't think the guard buff is going to do anything for him. It barely if even charges his rage meter and it fucking slows you down. The 50% damage reduction is useless when his HP is so low as a melee brawler and it doesn't have its own hp like other shields do.

You melt whenever you fight up close with him to take advantage of the axe bonus because you get out-DPS'd by nearly everyone, and you can't even sneak up on people thanks to his slow walking speed and 2 short dashes.

He needs 2 more buffs:

1) Raise his max HP to 1300 like seriously even a ranged unit like Marasai has more HP than the actual melee tank in the game what the fuck.

2) Increase rage accumulation while guarding to let him farm some rage.

Optional) Increase his normal swing speed.

You're right that it's going to do nothing, but to clarify: His guard is not getting buffed. His guard tackle is getting buffed. His guard doesn't actually reduce damage in any traditional way. His guard makes incoming attacks count as attacks on your limb, rather than your body or head and applies the appropriate damage modifier. This will result in a big reduction against units like Grandpa and Sniper, but does absolutely fuck all against units like Heavyarms or Mahiroo. The buff they're giving him is only for the tackle, like how they gave damage reduction to GM's shield bash.

Because it's probably the most well balanced hero shooter to ever exist.
There were no attractive female characters for people to make porn of, and despite any claims to the contrary attractive female characters are one of the most important factors for drawing in normalfags, meaning this game only ever appealed to a niche of preexisting Gundam fans who wanted to play a hero shooter. No. There is a delay in marasai hook release but the delay is consistent regardless of ping. Hit reg is client side so you hit what you aim for in YOUR screen. High ping causes weird interaction if you hit the opponent and the server update the opponent's actual real time position, which is different from the position that you saw your hook landed on your screen. That's why pull being stuck around wall happens. That's the best case scenario for coding around ping though
The only unit that is hurt by ping is Nu because the funnel AI tracking/hit req is some whack mixture between client/server side. I notice the funnels hitting less than expected when I'm on high ping

I'm guessing the biocensor will be the g maneuver, it apparently amplifies the suit's power, speed, strength. Sounds like another Hades style g maneuver. Standard beam rifle as primary I think. I've said it a dozen times.
MZaku's issues are his fundamentals. His kit just doesn't mesh naturally into the flow of the game.
He has a particular niche as a aoe shield pen unit but his DPS is just far too low considering his raw tankiness.

They need to decide if they want him to be a bruiser or a tank, because the hybrid kit just feels like shit since you'll rarely be using all his tools to their greatest effect.

I'm pretty sure a rage rework to just give him passive damage as the meter fills and making the activate button just an instant armor button (not needing the meter filled) would make him much, much more comfortable for the grand majority of the match.
The rage building minigame is garbage if the enemy team doesn't just huddle together and refuse to shoot you when you come barreling into them.

Fucking with survive would be beneficial too. It's useless at high ping and even more so when the enemy team is smart enough to not shoot the blue but still reactive enough to kill you when it ends.

Release mzaku was insane because he could easily build enough rage in the first engagement to use during the fight, and he didn't even need to go full on ape to get it done
He still rewarded players for just rolling their keyboard and running straight into every enemy they saw.

It's bad design for a game that tries to focus on higher skill floors for everything.
Melee in general was just a terrible idea. The worst players can just run in and trade and the average shitter team will have no response to it. Barb and Mzaku scared away at least 40% of the potential playerbase.

I like playing an even match for 10-15 minutes. At 25-30 minutes I usually just wish it was over.
And 'even' on Buried City can just mean one team is good at capture points and the other can do shutout defenses for the core. I've had games where my team could take the point every single time but never get below 80% core hp. Which is why I think defending with more than >50% hp should give defenders two points, that way the match ends earlier

I like how everyone thinks that since Zeta is in the files in some way means the game won't get canned.
I bet those devs look at the numbers and are producing future content with no guarantee that it'll even be included in the game.
Just because it looks bad on all fronts doesn't mean the devs should be slacking off. They should consider doing a "runner-up" season with no new MS', but a bunch more maps and a new season pass with a "free" chance to earn extra cap.

All in all, we all keep saying what they should do. It's wishful thinking.

No idea how that happened. Second place was our Asshimar with 42k damage dealt. Been keeping an average of 50%-55% hit rate and 10%-15% crit hits on sniper ever since I started using it more and more lately.

The spread is absolutely shit on it. The most fun I have with gm sniper is when you get the initial head shot and then immediately follow up with another head shot to destroy the body. The double ping is like a small rush. Only way it's better is if there's a guntank staring at the empty space as if wondering where it's rez went.

There's no progression in Evo and the events are rng skin pulls. There's nothing fun or new to them, there's no consistency to them to work towards. I grinded the last "event" and got literally nothing I wanted in my 50 pulls, and they purposefully made the MP gains worthless on dupes. I'd like the new Asshimar skin but I know for a fact the odds are against me. They either need to make the skins and weapons more common (you have a 62% chance of getting an ornament with any pull) or they need to make the event dupes give more MP and then make the skins available through MP so you're guaranteed to get something eventually. If players are grinding 200 hours in two weeks to get as much MP as possible, how is that a bad thing for you? It keeps the player numbers up which this game desperately needs

Nah, it was season two, because I was going to play ranked to see how high I could climb on my own. People in the thread complaining that it took them forever to get a match because they were always being put up against other high ranking players put an end to any desire to climb ranks.

Usually both team has shitty player if you have one on your team. However, the level of shitter can varied wildly. There are shitter who at least try to help and be useful and there are some who play selfish character and be completely shit.
That's just the case of the game having to find some player to match with. Even casual in Asia server primetime is more balanced because the game has higher population for matchmaking to work with. I still play casual in NA though because the game feels better at low ping, even if I have to deal with shitter on both team.

I gave up on HA but based on Guntank, you really don't want to overheat if you can help it. If it's needed to get a crucial disable then sure, but a lot of time you'll want to make sure you're able to defend yourself. If you can't sustain that fire without overheating, fall back. Also remember that while you're not firing and letting your heat meter run down, you're also healing, so you can kill two birds with one stone and get back to full health

If you can help it just stop at 99%, even if you see an enemy at 1 hp. Without your weapon you're basically useless, even guntank has 2 combat abilities he can potentially break out, missiles wont do much alone if you get caught out
