I might sound retarded but a friend and I are 30 eps deep into W and such. I might be spoiled after finishing Gaim but is it weird I feel W's episodes are good but nothing is super outstanding? They're good fun mysteries with good action but man im not sure how to explain it. Its not bad as I think W is a rider im neutral about. But only episode I can say sticks out for me is the ep where the villains were selling Gaia memories to that one kid and Nazca dies because he doesn't approve of it. We're def gonna finish it because OOOs is my 3rd favorite rider.

The Beast Dopant/Extreme, final Weather Dopant/Accel Trial arc and the entire final stretch are some of my favorite episodes in Rider in general. Ultimately the final villain is just another case to solve, and life goes on, there's no epic build up to a massive conclusion or anything like that, because its the character-focused drama that matters

The plot's pretty good and keeps my interest going for the most part (probably the most solid plot Takahashi has written), but I don't like some of the resolutions and climaxes we've gotten and it's been losing some steam ever since we got to the last part of Q1. I've also come to not care about most of the cast at this point, it's probably Takahashi's most boring and unengaging cast to date.It's not gonna be my favorite show of Reiwa if it keeps up like this, but it'd still be a very solid second place that'd be very well above Zero-One and Revice if it doesn't fuck up too badly in the second half.
