I bought a compressor and I didn't realize it also came with an airbrush too, are these good enough for a beginner? it's the master airbrush series compressor that's blue. I don't plan on doing anything fancy with painting yet like shading or gradient effects, just spraying paint like how I normally would with spray cans. I haven't tested anything yet because I'm procrastinating and I don't have the paint and airbrush cleaner stuff at the moment

Sorry if these are stupid questions but I'm trying to paint my first kit. What causes orange peel? I'm using Tamiya spray cans for priming and I noticed the distinct orange peel I've read and feared of. I looked it up and people just say it's "improper technique", but does that apply to spray cans too? And if so, how do I prevent it? It's a cold and windy day and I sprayed outside, does that play into it? And will I have to redo the primer or can I still salvage this once I paint over the primer?
