what did you guys think of the design for the exoprimal suits? I know it feels like it took a page out of anthem's design language but at least the devs are up front about the l4d gameplay.

>>20925524I just can't get into most of these "near future" modern mecha designs. Of almost any stripe. Western ones, mostly. Soulless is a word people like to throw around, but more specifically it feels like the modern visual language just lacks a strong aesthetic hook that makes it eye catching and interesting. To me, anyway.Parts of them can be interesting. Yellow Fatty's Fatty look and ridiculous collar. The giant spike hat on Purple Robot Mercy. But over all it's just more "vaguely modern tech with lots of grounded details but covered in crayola" that just isn't doing anything for me. I don't want to be too hard cause I honestly don't know what I actually want for a new direction, but I know none of this Anthem type stuff is it.
