Duo and Howard strike a deal where Duo's incompletely upgraded Deathscythe will be finished by Howard and his team, and the Wing Zero's wreckage is given to Howard.Since the wrecked Wing Zero and damaged Tallgeese are both on the Peacemillion, they retire the Tallgeese in favor of restoring the Wing Zero and use the wings from the Tallgeese as part of the refit for the Wing Zero.>how did tallgeese get the wings?Tallgeese was given the wings as part of an upgrade for space combat when Zechs partnered with Howard to go into space and start opposing OZ/Romefeller.

The only real difference is the paint job, the shield, the wings, and the buster rifles. More or less following the TV series events, Heero leaves the Sank Kingdom to go to Luxembourg to try to reach Treize and ends up abandoning the Wing Gundam only to end up with the Epyon in his hands.Wing Gundam never makes it to the Peacemillion. It has the same fate as the TV series, it was collected by the World Nation after being abandoned at Luxembourg, repaired, Lady Une steals it and pushes Treize out of the way of Libra's beam cannon shot.
Has any title Gundam had as hard a life as Wing? It gets dropped in the ocean in the very first episode and doesn't get repaired until a few episodes in. Then Heero self destructs it and it spends several more episodes as a wreck. When it finally gets repaired again, Heero doesn't even use it vs it's rival, the Tallgeese. It spends a few more episodes being hidden away because Heero is hiding out in a supposedly pacifist nation then gets abandoned on earth after it gets damaged when Heero takes the Epyon and goes into space. Then it never shows up again until the end just to get blown up.

Unless of course it gets totaled but even the Exia comes back repaired with some upgraded parts in the end for Setsuna to take it on one last ride, going out in glory vs the final boss. Wing just gets abandoned and forgotten until it comes back piloted by a side character just to get blown up saving another side character who then let's himself get killed anyway so it didn't accomplish anything. So sad.

I think its only real competition is Kamilles Zeta as its part of the narrative that it starts struggling near the end of the show and Kamille himself the designer of the thing points that out. Then come ZZ it gets hiijacked by a kid,damaged, jerry rigged,repaired then abandoned.

He was forced into becoming a weapon and the Wing Gundam was more or less an extension of that training. With Epyon and Wing Zero, he was able(forced) to introspect and come to real conclusions about himself. Enough so that he was able to drop the facade of the living weapon and actually act on his emotions - fighting and killing when he absolutely has to, rather than it being the only thing he can do.

In Wing's case, except for Heero, everyone is suppose to be baseline human but they all just act and talk like they are much older and their character designs also reflect this but then you see their bios and everyone is early 20s or late teens. Noin is 18 in the show and she's already a mobile suit piloting instructor for cadets who seem like they are the same age or even older than her?
