Something you might know, but I'm looking for a comparison video between the opening of Eva and some 60s-70s (color) TV show (probably japanese, but I don't know), in which it was showcased the influence it had on the latter. The TV show featured rapid, rhythmic cuts, sometimes to blocks of color or text. It was a Sci-fi show. It was likely Ultraman, but I can't find the specific reference and it's driving me crazy (since looking for influences on Eva is almost impossible due to the abundance of worthless articles talking about it)! Do you know what I'm talking about?
