The teacher episodes are honestly some of my favorites in the franchise, just a really great approach to Ultraman in general in a way that distinguishes itself from the others. The retooling gave us some hits and misses, but the action, set pieces, and kaiju are still top notch. Then the last batch of episodes are fantastic, and I still think it has one of the best finales that really captures the show’s spirit.The Mebius episode was an amazing send off to really cap the series in a loving way.

Almost finishing Taro, but I think it's worse than all previous series so far. I like the team not being a bunch of jerks who get angry at people reporting monsters to them, unlike in Ace, but most of the plots feels very dull. It's kind of weird since so much goofy stuff happens, but a lot of it feels oddly grounded in spite of that - the stuff is goofy because it's something you wouldn't associate with giants or taken straight from fairy tales, but it doesn't feel actually imaginative compared to Ace's more out there plots.
