Their naming conventions are all Prussian, but the court intrigue at Neue Sanssouci felt a lot more Austrian, especially the jealousy-inspired plots against a young outsider with military successes. It reminded me of how the Habsburg's deadly decadent court responded to the growing fame of Prince Eugene of Savoy.

While the aesthetic was definitely based on Prussia, and Reinhard being proclaimed as Emperor literally a recreation of Wilhelm I being proclaimed German Emperor in Versailles, the court conspiracies and noble feuds and general plotline has a lot more in common with Bourbon France and the First French Empire I reckon. Reinhard himself is basically Napoleon x Alexander the Great, with a streak of Louis XIV centralising political and military power before he becomes emperor, and Napoleon in being a charismatic Enlightened monarch and conquering the galaxy for muh glory. And then all the exiled nobles plotting a comeback it's basically Napoleon IV: This Time In Space.
LOGH is great, I have the first three or four books too, great read.
