I just dropped Vineland and told myself that I will never try to read it again. What other works of Pynchon should I try? (I loved Lot49 and V.)

If you’ve read the first two, why would you just not read the third one, like everybody did in the 1970s? After Gravity’s Rainbow you can decide if any of the later books will be worthwhile.

You literally don’t need to read any more Pynchon after GR. I loved Mason & Dixon, but Pynchon really has two periods— the first three books (and maybe Slow Learner), and everything else.
