>>22076951There's a slim chance you're not baiting. Das, Der, and Die all mean "the" in german. Das is neutral, Der is masculine, Die is feminine. The book is titled Das Kapital.

Third person but you should read it anyway
Life and Opinions of the Tomcat Murr by E.T.A. Hoffmann
Heart of a Dog by Bulgakov (partially)
Jack London in general
>>22076759Redwall by Brian Jacques, it's third person but you should still read it. The audiobook, narrated by the man himself, is very well done. If Jacques hadn't been a writer he would have made a great voice actor.

i recently enjoyed hollow kingdom and its sequel. narrated by a crow raised by a hillbilly in seattle through human extinction.just yesterday read alan moore's short story 'the improbably complex high energy state' which was good fun.one of my favorite sf books is sue burke's semiosis, about humans colonizing a planet with a highly intelligent plant species. only some chapters are actually first-person plant but it's great.also want to recommend venomous lumpsucker by nead bauman. not narrated by animals, but lots about animal cognition in it, and it was my favorite book of last year.
