>>20364799You didn't read the book. It's more like "Pleasure bad when it distracts you from a tyrannical caste system".
>Just marathonned the first chapter Congratulations, manchild.

>>20364790Brave New World > 1984
>>20365184grow the fuck up.OP if youre reading this, im proud of you. keep up the good work
BNW is literally child lecture.

>>20365184theres nothing wrong with marvel.
>>20365239>Mindless consoooming is fine guyssomebody seems to have missed the point of BNW entirely
>>20365239this, I've been reading marvel since I was 6 years old, and its easily on par with the stuff this board pushes
>>20365244>the point of BNW is that people should be miserable
>>20365265Yes.
>>20364790I'm reading it at the moment and it's pretty cringe, I like how they're sexual marxists though
Nobody here seems to have understood Brave New World so I’ll explain the themes to you OP.The main theme is of course the danger of a mass humanity created and designed in the same style of our mass manufactured goods. Hence the references to Henry Ford. Of course the technology is only one side of the problem as the other highlighted theme is of course the inability of utilitarian and materialistic philosophy to fulfill the higher aspirations of man for transcendence and purpose. Important sub points are obviously the isolation of those who think different. The nature of sex and human pair bonding. The perverse nature of insecurity and jealousy. Finally there is a funny maybe not intentional point about women being totally incapable of being independent of society.
Liberal trash

>>20366198they're actually all me with different ips
>>20365265The point of BNW is that people become so infatuated with meaningless entertainment that they lose the ability to question their surroundings. Marvel is soulless fucking brain rot designed by committee to keep you distracted with pretty colors and meaningless quasi-drama. You have fallen for the trap of corporate art, either renounce your desire for neatly packaged platitudes or kill yourself.
>>20364799it's less about pleasure being good or bad and more about suffering being abolished to create good goy cattle drones like you
>>20364799Bnw is 1984 if George Orwell had any political ideas other than "state bad, freedum gud"
>>203677341984 is a victim fantasy where the state can be whatever ideology you dont like and winston is you. Its a political rorsharch test
Like The Handmaid's Tale, I failed to see how the world this book portrayed was meant to be a dystopia. I especially liked the calming drugs the police shot out of firehoses at people who got too emotional and caused a scene. Tell me that wouldn't be a great solution for BLM rioters.
>>20365729>Finally there is a funny maybe not intentional point about women being totally incapable of being independent of society.?
>>20364790>marathonned >a chapter
>>20365220Just b urself
>>20364790We don’t care what you think.
>>20368131Not a single woman character in the book ever showed any personal growth, introspection, or attempt to question the norms of society. This maybe a simple over sight but it also might be a point about women generally being unable to question the prevailing beliefs of their group.
