Any recommendationas for which two free audiobooks to pick to keep with the free audible trial? The more expensive and substantial the better as I guess I will use the trial period up first and leave the two free ones for after. Also any good recommendations for free audiobooks?
>>18700810start with the greeks
>>18700812Ace but many of the narrators suck
maggie gyllenhaal's reading of Bell Jar is fantastic also Dan Steven's Frankenstein
>>18700820try this versionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjRBDJkiRHs&t=96s
>>18700822also for pirating audiobooks I get most of mine from piratebay and audiobookbay
I really really like the great courses history lectures. The professors are generally pretty knowledgable, and it's a great way to brief oneself on a topic before delving into something more rigorous like a book on the topic.I really recommend anything narrated by Kenneth Harl
The fellowship of the ring read by Rob Inglis
>>18700832>before delving into something more rigorouslike the greeks, perhaps?
>>18700810Blood Meridian and East of Eden
>>18700856would you newfags fuck off? are we being raided by discord or something? every new thread for the past couple days some faggot comes in for an obligatory "start with the greeks" meme like you just discovered it and want to get it out of your system. just fuck off already, it's not funny
>>18700885its literally just me. im doing you a favor.
>>18700911you're an annoying newfag, and probably underage
>>18700810Pirate audiobooks or listen to them on YouTube, it's that easy. God Americans are cucks
>>18700885okay, but just for the record, Kenneth Harl does have a great lecture on the Pelopponesian War
Anything narrated by Charlton Griffin
>>18700810Plutarch's Parallel Lives is 83 hoursThere's a complete version of Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire that's 126 and a half hours.
>>18700947Both narrated by this dude>>18700933
>>18700928of course. my only issue is with this unoriginal faggot who just discovered /lit/ and is spamming memes like a kid hopped up on sugar
>>18700961you are powerless 2 stop me, slave
>>18700996you'll get bored after realizing this is the most attention you'll get
>>18700996>slave>not δουλοςI think you need to go start with the greeks
