That spear burns through just about everything. Consider as well that the armor they're hitting have an ammo carousel in the place it's most likely to be hit. It's not the shell that killed them that causes most armor to enter into the Turret Space Program. It's the ammunition inside exploding. You know how you can tell that Russia's running dangerously low on tank rounds? When's the last time we saw a good contender for TSP entry? Probably back before September. The Russians can't afford to load their tanks as full of ammunition as they did before, making the kills nowadays seem pretty anodyne.
