They usually get pushed around and yelled at a lot. When I did the basic training a fatty classmate of mine came with me. Was pretty funny to see him get yelled at while he had to run up and down a hill until he flopped over and threw up his soul every other day. Hes now one of the most fit guys I know. Still goes to the gym almost every day. If you like it or not but this shit turns boys into men. It builds a lot of character and teaches comradery. It also makes sure every man has at least held and shot a gun once to know what its actually like. While I hated the first couple weeks there Im really glad I was forced to go through it.

Signal corps was awesome. Lan parties every weekend, drunken fights in klingon. Field exercises that turned into lan parties over satcom, torposhepere bounce, or hclos shots to your buddies on the other side of the parking lot. Habbohotel raids were fun as fuck when bored as shit in the field too.
I gave up on it last year.
