>>56896007>Stealth (radar, IR, visual) what the fuck? do they expect NGADs to have cloaking tech?

big flying dorito with payload drones... we Tyrian now
>>56896007that NGAD is from the concept art. the leaked photo is more like a super-sized YF-23 built around next gen variable bypass engines. it's a 2 seater plane, but the RIO has a separate cockpit with very little canopy area, most likely using AR.
>>56896721Leaked photo?
>>56896007>active camo>IR/thermal stealth>radar stealth>1000m rangeDamn the chinks are fucked. It's like Gulf War 2.0 all over again.

>>56897016Ah yes, Sprey-posting at its finest.
>>56896007So thats the end of Supercruise? It went the same way as Mach 2 aircraft?
>>56896502I half expected that for B-21 lol

>>56896496lol the F-22 already has cloaking, they just aren't allowed to use it in demonstrations, obviously.
>>56899951>>56896492>>56896502It's nothing new, you can already buy "invisibility panels" right now on the internet: https://youtu.be/qAriX1ebx3I

so the dorito we've been seeing for years on random conspiracy websites is actually the NGAD? thing's been flying for awhile.

>>56896007>Stealth>VisualIt has cloaking? I thought Romulan tech wasn't for export?
>>56897296yeah I thought the meme would be either invisible bomber or they already had it in flight overhead but it's so quiet and stealthy no one notices before it performs a perfect vertical landing near the crowd
>>56901984NGAD won't be exported, so it's fine.
>>56901827>using that image without saying ”based Chinks”This is ban-worthy

>>56901948N-no. CCP always right, comrade!
>>56902019Based chinsects! Praise Chiner for building of grorious J-20 Smoking Dragon!
>>56897286Not likely, the implication I got from that pic is that sixth-gen is building up on top of fifth-gen, like all generations before it, so Supercruise is assumed. I'm pretty sure NGAD will have sensor fusion.Stealth is mentioned twice, true, but with the addition of IR and Visual stealth, which wasn't a focus of fitfh-gen. It's likely that NGAD will have Supercruise due to range requirements alone. It drastically increases efficiency.
>>56902052IR "stealth" was most definitely considered - and implemented - on both the F-22, and F35.
>>56902236
>>56899951It’s glowing and translucent… Like some kind of jellyfish!
I’m curious about visual stealth. Will they use some kind of active camo or whatnot, or do they just mean that removing the vertical stabilizers will make it smaller visually? Active camo isn’t that hard to make by itself but I don’t see how do you do it while still having radar absorbent coatings. But maybe they developed some new coating that overcomes this, who nows,
