>>53560601>The C4 tank
For me it's this absolute retardation from the very same parade
>>53560644You never see IFV equipped with ERA. Why is that? I guess that either was too expensive to do so, or early ERA was too explosive for IFVs even when they would benefit from it more than tanks.
>>53560627>hey dmitri>watch this
>>53560601Cool third world aesthetics
I like ERA. It reminds me of Lamellar armour.
>>53560697its because they cannot NOT sit on them
>>53560697Because the IFV is not intended to fight toe-to-toe with tanks or survive anti-tank weapons; its an overtuned solution that would cost too much and bog down the logistics process.
>>53560697Because it’s operating around infantry. When ERA goes off things go bad
>>53560776It does look good, don't it?
>>53560787So the IFV cannot survive anti tank weapons? So it's a worthless deathtrap that has no use?
>>53560776>she will never declare a crusade on your penisHurts
>>53560644B-but the cumchuggers told me Rasha was based and fearless in the face of the flip flu
Would ERA even work on thin-ass IFV armor?
>>53560826IFVs support infantry. Infantry deals with manpack AT, anything larger like ATGMs should be dealt with before it ranges the IFV with artillery, CAS, etc.An IFV might survive one or two manpack AT hits, but its not intended to eat missiles and keep trucking the way a tank is. The IFV has infantry dismounts and other armor supporting it and is also more maneuverable than an MBT if used correctly, it shouldn't /need/ to take AT on the chin. MBTs are intended to be able to operate separately either as a task-organized detachment or as a reserve/exploitation force in Russian doctrine so they're expected to be able to survive multiple impacts.
>>53560900How well are these things secured? Could I just quickly snatch one or two and walk away?
>>53560601Cool. Now hand it over to Ukraine as punishment for your war crimes RUSSIA.
>>53560601>>53560644What the fuck are these? Brand-new designs?
>>53560870>it shouldn't /need/ to take AT on the chinThat dream died with ubiquitous ATGW. The cost is the real limfac. Infantry don't need to hug AFV in ERA or APS kill range and if some do and die that's an acceptable loss vs. losing what the vehicle does for mobility.
>>53560601Doctor Weird's South Jersey Shore Parade.
>>53560644>sale 70% offtime to buy some russian cuties
>>53560986Donbabwe trying to look hip and modernAs a result you have an inaccessible engine bay and an IFV that lowered chances of survival from minimal to none
>>53560815>Because it’s operating around infantry. When ERA goes off things go badThis. ERA will kill anyone near it. You don't put it on vehicles that primarily transport infantry for that reason. Unless you are Russian and completely retarded...see>>53560644HOWEVER I suspect that is actually just Best Korea style decorative cardboard at this stage anyway which we have already seen in Russian ERA(or because somebody stole the explosive) .
>>53560900Example image is Kontakt 1 but the container is secured by two bolts, a further 4 holds the container together with the explosive element inside of it. So if you want the container with the elements inside, undo the 2 big bolts. If you just want the elements, undo the smaller 4.
>>53561063>>>53561063>Donbabwe trying to look hip and modern>steel helmets>bolt actions with no optics>what's the odds the vests have kevlar in them?
>>53561013Bolting enough armor onto your IFV to make ERA even work, AND an acceptably sized autocannon, AND an ATGM/TOW weapon, AND having enough space for ammo AND enough space to carry dismounts is a pipedream.Tanks are already too heavy, IFVs cannot really afford to be that heavy as well and still support infantry and scouting roles.
>>53560644I have similar tiles in my bathroom
>>53561227/k is massively more armed and equipped than the Donbass and we don't even have any guns. Really makes you think.
>No ERA for IFVblocks your path*
>>53561300>The best IFV in the world>Sitting in some storage not being used
>>53560697IFV can be equiped with ERA see pic related.Difference is with Bradley and Warrior to BMP-1/2 is that the former two are made with thicker aluminium. So protection is the same as the steel hulled BMPs, however the hull is stronger to withstand the blast. ERA on BMP-1/2 would breach the hull armor. BMP-3 is made from thick aluminium as well and Russia showed of some ERA fitted prototype but that is vapour ware obviously
Pic related is test firing of BMP-3 with prototype ERA
>>53560644>ERA on an IFV where grunts will be nearbyOnly russians can think that its a good idea
>>53561300>blocks your path*What, again?? Ivan, get the BREM , that damned thing shat itself in middle of the road again.
>>53561494It has been the norm with western IFVs for almost 2 decades now
>>53561628well I overdid it.
>>53560601Is it a captured Ukrainian tank? It doesn't look like any modern Russian tank.
>>53562058T-84 Oplot M. Ukraine's most advanced tank but never made in enough numbers to matter.
DonMac in the background lmao
>>53562154That's a T-64 with a shit-ton of ERA
>>53562001good effort anon
>>53562058This >>53562154 is obviously a lie (pic rel) but idk what that donbabwe tank is.
>>53560607So did they really nationalize mcdonalds and turned them into donmaks or is this a different chain? I always thought it was just a meme.
>>53560601> No era on battlelog. 0/10 would not operate with.
>>53560601Is there anything in that bustle?
>>53562248McDonald’s isn’t just a fast-food chain—it’s a brilliant $30 billion real-estate company. There are more than 36,000 McDonald’s locations worldwide, but only about five percent of them are company-owned. The rest are franchised out, meaning they’re run by individuals who McDonald’s has contracted to operate them. The franchisee is responsible for all the costs of running the restaurant while also paying McDonald’s for ren. Being able to hand off the costs of running the restaurants is a primary key to McDonald’s success.
Donbabwean attempt at a bootleg Black Eagle?
ERA on an IFV doing it's job
>>53561862is that ERA though? I thought that was just up-armored panels
>>53562365Yes see >>53562338 andhttps://www.gd-ots.com/protection-systems/force-protection-systems/reactive-armor-bradley-fighting-vehicle/
>>53562388so it's ERA then? idk but I feel like General Dynamics here probably extensively tested the effects of dismounted infantry and found it to me a non-issue since the design is probably better then the cold-war era bricks they still use in Russia
>>53562442Or the fact that if you are next to an IFV when a HEAT round explodes you will still get fucked, after all, with the exception of the front of the HEAT shell, the detonation front of a HEAT shell to the side and rear is similar to that of a normal HE Shell
>>53562001>The new Scorpion Tank

>>53560776man I remember this setBaremaidens were THE shit
>>53560601Is there a catalytic converter on that thing or do these people enjoy being gassed in the stands?
>>53560601… Uh, Dr. Weird? This is just a tank.
>>53560644>Russians trying to flex>SALE in English in the backgroundCultural victory baby
>>53560776that helmet does not go together with that armor at all. neither do the leg plates. what is this retarded shit? also, nobody would bother with lamellae if they could make plates as big as the chest piece
>>53560644lolimagine hosing one of those down with HE shells from a 30mm, turning it into the worlds largest directional mine
whats the big dong hanging off the back of it? blowout rack storage?
>>53565209>blowout rack storage?does it look like a factory new turret to you?probably just slapped them around the external storage they usually carry on the back of the turret. it's a fucking t-64 dude
>>53560700checked and keked
>>53562001>Arms race on: Ukies now need a Meerkat mod to their T's
>>53560601Thats a lot of cardboard.
>>53562185Fuck's sticking out the back?
>>53568081They tried to cosplay the T-90M. It's just a box or something
>>53568081Bustle ammo stowage. Not like on a leopard or abrams, you need to unbutton and feed it through the hatches. Maybe better than keeping it inside the fuel tanks in the fighting compartment.
>>53561300Heavy IFV like T-15 and Namer are the exceptions, but they weight close to twice as much,
>>53560787You're a faggot, and wrong/incorrect. Quote me bitch.
>>53563252shit, thanks for reminding me
