Except for the H&K SP5, that one seems to be a bit special.http://www.sar-shop.de/epages/61028398.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61028398/Products/41.1014>how the fuck do you buy these triggers?Lube-anon is working on it, give it until about next year.
>>53545174>Lube-anon is working on it, give it until about next year.(If you're an American.)If you live literally anywhere else you can get it shipped to you as long as your local lawman is down with it. They used to ship to America as well and for their items that aren't very popular and quickly out of stock they probably still do, but those that'll get sold anyway just aren't really worth the hassle to fuck around with the American authorities.Lube-anon doesn't mind though.
>>53545174>will it work in an MP5 though?I checked that for you. They sell something called SAR M41/05, its for MP5 and clones like "BT96,MKE T94". Its 4lbs with adjustable trigger stop, own production product. They also said that its possible to adjust the trigger when its not able to fit in a clone, this also means I need a checklist for the individual clones before doing anything
Here's my PTR 91 GI after I put a A3 stock, black grip and wide handguard on it. Been having a lot of fun shooting it since I got it a few weeks ago.I got a bayonet lug for it but I'm still waiting for my bayonet for it to show up from Latvia.
>>53545531>Lube-anon doesn't mind though.Thats correct, our website should alow a company like SAR to ignore problems and even do custom jobs. Everything fine and all I have to do is blocking non-rational price increase and maybe doing some price war to compensate for export fees. For example, the SARm41 cost 448€ which inclueds 19% german fee. This fee getting excluded if I buy it with the NAC INC so its 376€ when I buy it, now add some possible price production when ordering 50 triggers ...
>>53545729At that point it might be worth buying it through you even as a German lmao

>>53544830>If you stand real still you might catch a glimpse of the rare stripped Galil receiver up in the trees.Glad someone still remembers me jej. I have good news and bad news. Good news is I have all the money/tooling I need set aside for basically finishing the entire galil project. Bad news is Everybody I know who makes 308 galil barrels arent taking orders right now. Im messaging around and seeing who I can work with but for now Im basically at the whim of whenever one of them feels like taking work again. My homeslice who also built a 308 galil (Hes the one with the custom galil dong on plebbit if youve ever seen it) has been steadily helping me out and bullying me into getting my galil finished since he completely finished his, parked, engraved and everything.TLDR: Right as I start getting time freed up in my schedule Im not able to order the barrel to actually finish my project. Such is life I guess. On the bright side my buddy found a company that does repros of 308 galil mags that he prefers over actual IMI mags.If anyone has any questions or wants a link to the (now somewhat outdated) galil pastebin, either ask away or email me at Galilfag@protonmail.com
>>53547795Clean and lube and it should be a great time shooting. I think stock they prefer 150gr bullets iirc. Looking more closely at your bayonet lug, idk if a M7 bayonet will work
>>53550271Yeah not gonna lie i think it just takes a garand bayonet desu
>>53550323I'm bored so I did some measuring. The diameter of your gas cylinder that the bayonet will go around needs to be less than 0.625" to use a garand bayonet. If larger, m7 bayo for you

>>53550271Man, that's a sweet pair!
>>53550853fuck i am jealous
>>5355095Not to fuel your jealousy, but it is a very nice rifle. Handier and more pointable than the garand (or m14 for that matter), while still being a similar weight and length. You can change barrels very quickly with no tools, so in theory you could switch from 30-06 to 270 in less than a minute. I would love a modern sporting version of the Johnson
Are JRA BM59s any good, or at least good for a poorfag who wants something with a little punch?
>>53551275They have a couple different models of BM-59 i believe. But they are all well made, I actually like mine a little more than my m14 especially considering price. If you'd rather have a springfield armory assembled one, they go for about the same price, just harder to find
>>53550611ayyy ok good to know i will check measurements later. Also can you let me know what a good price is for the gun i got? i tried checking and couldnt come to a good conclusion, i wanna see if i was ripped off or not. I got it for 1400
>>535519531400 doesn't seem too crazy of a price, tankers are more uncommon too. The stock on your rifle is a beautiful piece of wood. I'd be happy if i were you.

>>53550853>She's a woefully under appreciated battle rifle, especially compared to her contemporaries.Definitely not under appreciated in terms of price. I'd love to get one to have another .30-06 battle rifle but the $5k+ can get quite a few other things I'm still missing.

>>53562339It's a BRN-10. Brownells stopped making them, I think, though parts pop up for sale occasionally. If you're doing a build, I'd recommend going with a normal AR-10 lower unless you really want the retro look - the squared off BRN-10 lower means it can't take PMAGs. I also dyed the furniture a little darker on mine.

Some of you may remember me asking if my handguard or barrel is bent a while ago. I now am 99.9 % sure it's my handguard, I took a deprimed case and put It in the chamber and looked at the sun. I got perfectly concentric rings of light. Now my next question does a bent handguard even matter? I don't have irons all I have is a magpul afg and bipod on the handguard and a 45 degree red dot on the very back of the handguard right above the barrel nut. I will test the zero of the red dot this weekend next weekend to see if it moved. Does any of this matter?

>>53586944From the way you talk you don't shoot enough. Guns are generally reliable. PTRs, FALs, and M14s all are roughly the same in terms of reliability and durability; they don't spontaneously combust because they aren't ARs. Sure there can be quality issues, see post-COVID PTR, dodgy FAL kit builds, and Springfield M1As, but AR-10s can suffer from the same issues. Obviously an AR-10 will be better for certain tasks, especially those that demand supreme accuracy, but not everyone's idea of "fun" is shooting one round a minute from a bench. In short, just learn that you dislike certain guns that others find quite enjoyable, and let everyone live their lives without being a dickhead.
>>53587002No.

>>53587049>From the way you talk you don't shoot enough. Guns are generally reliable. PTRs, FALs, and M14s all are roughly the same in terms of reliability and durabilityNot him but we all know that's not true, brother.
>>53587075Well, yes, but I was trying to make a point. Still love you, M14tards.
>>53587049I just can't wrap my fucking head around this shit. You guys choose outdated unreliable pieces of shit. Constantly recommend others get these guns as well. Like the m14 manufacturers made faulty ammo for the m16 and got Americans killed. The m1a is such a fucking meme. The ptr is pure ass. Can we just move on. These guns had their time. It's over.
>>53586880>>53587043Thanks! Heres a longer vid with real time, slomo, and sound!https://emalm.com/?v=q2REA
>>53587066I have no idea who that is>>53587118Yes, all 90 of those nations that adopted the FAL did it for the meme. Those nations that still use the G3 to this day do it to dab on AR-10 owners like yourself. They do it all anon, just to piss you off. Even countries that choose to use AKs are all doing it wrong... nobody has ever killed anyone with an AK. Ever. Pull your head out of your ass please.

>>53587987do you have any recommendations? the HK series has plenty of style points in my book
>>53588076>>53588094What we're looking at here is a basic commercial Browning BAR upgraded to the point of being a new product.FN looked at making something similar in the mid-sixties while developing the hunting BAR but didn't produce it.This thing was poorly marketed, but is a decent all-around SHTF 7.62 rifle.
>>53588113>style pointsGo get a skeletonized 10.3 inch ar 15 then. Make it rainbow colored

Hey /brg/ I finally got my zastava pap m77 back from my buddy after regretfully selling it a few years back. >>53588113SCAR
>>53588961OK. JMB designed the military BAR.Grandson Bruce, son of Val, worked with FN to create the commercial BAR - sort of an upper crust autoloading hunting rifle - in the Sixties. The FN FNAR is basically a reinforced/heavily modified/upgraded commercial BAR designed for/stress tested to 10K+ rounds.
>>53588980There's a Finnish(?) company that makes some AR-style stocks. It comes with 3 different cheek comb inserts, and several stock shims - it's adaptable as hell and the AR-style grip actually works. It's front-heavy, though. Good and bad.

>>53545137>12 Romy bayonetsAre they the stinky ones with only a scabbard?
>>53587555Checked, but on a serious note, find me a good AR-10 with excellent durability for $1500 or under and I'll buy it immediately. I'm not even kidding. The only reason I picked up a damn PTR 91 is because I couldn't find an AR-10 in 2021 for a good price (but a $1200 PTR brand new was an easy choice).I want my PTR91 and AR-10 chad combo, but I can't find a non-shit AR-10.
2016-2017 manufactured Ptr-91 did great at the range this weekend. Claw mount, Burris rt6, mapgul PRS stock, wide handguard+ steel bipod, and Bill Springfield match trigger. With steel wolf ammo my best group was 3 inches at 200 yards. All the boomers came over and asked me about it because I was ringing the steel like I was shaking a bell at max range and they were impressed. A+ rifle and any of you new fags reading this should strongly consider getting one.

>>53593683I don't even really care for anime (except Initial D and Ghost In The Shell, but I think those are good shows that happen to be anime), but damn son that's a nice patch collection and a beautiful gun to boot.
>>53593178>non-shit AR-10 for under 1500Doesn’t exist. The cheapest you could’ve gone was when LMT was clearing out their old LM8 uppers and played the barrel game.
>>53594780>Ghost In The ShellWhy couldn't I get through the first retarded 12 minutes of this after all the /k/hype?>t. Love Death & Robots is pretty goot
>>53594812I got my sig Sauer 716 for just under that actually. The Smith and Wesson m&p sport 10 is also allegedly decent, and it's only like 1100, which leaves you a decent amount of room for an optic. AR-10s now are probably the most practical and reliable battle rifle you can get.
>>53594816Are you talking about the movie with Scarlett Johanson or whatever her name is? If so, fuck that movie. But if you're talking about the 1st season of the Ghost In The Shell show, then the 1st episode is only alright, but it has no major storyline except for explaining the roles of Section 9 very quickly during a fast operation. The story doesn't kick in until you hear about "The Laughing Man". Honestly, half the episodes are just about the backstories of the characters during Season 1 (episode 1 is one of them), but there are only like 7 or 8 major episodes that contain "The Laughing Man", which is definitely the point of Season 1 and is meant to talk about how corporate vs. corporate sabotage and a rapidly changing stock price leads to companies making rash decisions that, inevitably, only ends up affecting and hurting the commonfolk in the crossfire. Don't worry, there's a lot more that I didn't spoil for you in case you wanted to watch it sometime. And for what it's worth: Season 1 > Season 2. But Season 2 is really good too.
>>53594941Oh, and pic not related. I just wanted to post my favorite anime girl with a G3. I don't care for much anime anymore, but I'm sure when my baby son grows up he will pull me back into it (since I was huge into it during middle school but faded a bit in high school).
>>53594941>talking about the movieNo. Anime, some kind of chase scene that starts out ok and 10min in turns into 7yos playing out the movie with matchbox car tier story line. I did like the live action Cowboy Bebop.
>>53594508I use the Zastava USA mount. I don't think it's the lightest mount out there, but it's well made and I think it's the best looking

>>53593785Sadly that aimpoint shit the bed when the battery compartment got fucked up, made me sad. Now I use a fat eokek.>>53592801Sure? some of them didn't come with scabbards but they're all still AFFIX BAYONETS capable. I got them for $5 each so no big deal. Flipping them for $30 each during a vending event at a microbrewery. Now I have to ask, I know LPKs for an AR-10 shouldn't be mixed, but are triggers okay? I want to use an Armalite 10a upper-lower but would like to use a geissele trigger or something. All armalite has for good trigs is a 2 stage.
>>53594816>t. Love Death & Robots is pretty gootNot to worry man, you just have extremely bad tastes
>>53597788Thanks Anon. I wasn't sure which mounts would fit. Not to worried about weight since this rifle is a pig anyways. Definitely a good looking mount. Did you modify M14 mags or get the csspec ones?

>>53596180>I did like the live action Cowboy Bebop.
>>53586509I have personal preferences against things like collapsing stocks, more vertical grips, and the rear position of the charging handle and towards things like folding stocks, more horizontal grips, and left side charging handles. So I chose an FAL over an AR10. >>53621529Are you sure you're connecting the dots in the right order?
>>53620092While the mag is in the rifle? AFAIK no. Only M14 chads and some FAL chads can do this. While the mag is out of the rifle? Again AFAIK no, not with original equipment. >>53621347Are there 30 round stripper clips?Don't they usually come in 5s or 10s?Sounds annoying.
>>53621719Given that reloading a detachable magazine fed rifle with stripper clips is pants on head retarded i would say so. They are great for storage though, especially if you can load empty mags without them being in the gun
>>53622040>annoying>>53622092>retardedSome rifles have stripper guides built in. This is the type to reload before empty. Or in tge case of the SkS, UPON empty. If not built in guides, a "spoon" or other stripper guide is still faster than single loading bullets, even with practice. And I do both. There are mag loading assists of many types. Got some gibs from Lucky himself (Lucky's Loaders) some better than others. Butler Creek 10/22 mag loaders work ...ok... still faster than single loading. And some mag loaders are just plain gimmicks. In the end, raise your kids with mag loading contests at family picnics is my best advice, if you don't want the red pill on strippers.
>>53622038Also FN-49, MAS-46, AVS-36, G41,, and I think SVT and G43 but I'm not sure on those.
CMP sent me my upgrade email to try to get me to swap my field grade M1 order for a service. Hype. I don't think I'm going to do it, just excited that I'm a step closer to having an M1. I am debating the upgrade though. $100 for being sure of a walnut stock, but less likely to be a GI stock. But potentially better bore/less rust. Idk.
