>>51185442i got one of those recently fucking big
>>51185559Id like one but I barely ever shoot my other BP revolvers or even my revolving rifle
>>51185568i got it for pure aesthetics
I like her big ol fox tail
Is liking revolvers an American-only thing? I knew a guy from Germany who was into guns but was genuinely confused why I had a revolver.
>>51185721Pretty much. I know people that ask why I carry a 6rd revolver with a speed loader instead of a 6rd lcp with a spare mag, and honestly my only answer is because I can.
>>51185751Try this: https://zetasix.com/product/k-pak/Faster than a speedstrip and lays flatter innapocket than a speedloader. They sell on ebay too.
Anyone know what's up with mateba? This looks like a scam or honeypot websitehttps://www.mateba.us/
>>51185652Really want one as a first revolver. What grips are those?
>>51185663based 3" j-frame bro
>>51185721I dont doubt it will die out just maybe not in our lifetime

>>51185652That grip angle makes the sp101 look so good.
Lemon squeezers seem cheaper than I expected. Then again, I'm pretty clueless on this kind of stuff. Are they a dime a dozen like model 10s?
>>51186662If model 10s are a dime a dozen, then little top break lemon squeezers are a penny a dozen most of the time
>>51186677this>>51186662youre is an dumb and they are grenades now do your research about those meant for black powder and smokeless powder
I remember seeing this thing on YouTube a while ago, it was like a speed strip but when you pulled it out it would curl up into a ring and you’d insert it like a speedloader, and then yank it like a beyblade ripcord to get the rounds off the strip and in the gun. Does anyone else remember this? Is it a real product now?
>>51187295https://youtu.be/7NaZpeFEfN8Found it. I feel like this holds a good advantage over speed strips has anyone ever seen something like this irl?
>>51187320It seems more fragile and slower than a regular speed loader, and looks like it'll curl in the pocket regardless.
>>51187342In the beginning of the video it shows a little leather iwb holster for it that’s supposed to keep it straight and flat. Though that does raise the point though of keeping it flat like that might put stress on what seems like very small springs so they might lose the ability to curl back into the proper alignment over time.
>>51185387Did you post this while taking a shit, OP?
>>51182805Nope, it is a traumatic, a.k.a gun that shoots rubber bullets, revolver, specifically an Ekol Viper 4.5"
>>51182805This is the ammo it shoots
Originally she came with plastic black grips, i bought her some wooden ones, but desu i dont really like them that much, i was thinking about getting some custom made and i have developed an incredible lust for these:>>51185978>>51174924>>51172016>>51167220>>51167220

>>51186557I think wood grips with brushed stainless steel is the most aesthetic it gets.

>>51186000Checked, can only imagine what it was like seeing a cartridge driven buck breaker in action
>>51188128the one with teh hellfire boys book is mine, and theyre wood houge gripshttps://www.opticsplanet.com/hogue-gp100-super-redhawk-pau-ferro-top-finger-groove-80350.htmlif i was to get another set, id probably go for the grooveless ones maybe with a stripe cap, cause of how my stubby fat fingers are. but i got that on sale and my gp100 was under 500 out the door so i still felt like i got a lot of nice shit for not too much.finger grooves are good with synthetic materials, especially softer ones you can squeeze a bit. harder materials with finger grooves are best if custom amde for you and your hands, though working with wood isnt too hard if you want to fit it yourself.but see whats out there and if you need to, theres woodworkers that will do custom orders and make really nice stuff for your guns.the new super gp100s like pic realted come stock with wood grips, same with the match champion gp100s, honestly i like wood quite a bit on them in general
Anyone have any experience with the French 1873 Chamlot Delvigne? I kinda want to get one that was cut for 45acp for antique woods LARPing
Alright, poll time. Pick your favorite manufacturerhttps://strawpoll.com/2de2gww7r
>>51191941I'm a S&W kind of guy, but I have a soft spot for the Redhawk. I've shot Colts before but Smiff just makes that good shit, even with the Hillary Hole.
>>51193123Don't they have a model without the hillary hole? Why couldn't they do that with the classics?
>>51193406My guess is that they are afraid of MSM hitpieces if they did remove the lock. Blame shareholders being cowards.
>>51196390That vent rib is aftermarket, right?
>>51185999checked. theyll bury her tomorrow but there hangin me tonight.
>>51196939Yes. King conversion. Good post about them on the Colt forum https://www.coltforum.com/threads/king-super-target-a-python-before-the-python.91243/

>Get revolver from my grandpa out of my closet after being in there a while>pull gun out>holster is covered in white fuzz what I suspect is mold/mildewHow?? It's dry in my closet and the holster wasn't even wet. Same thing happened to my rifle bag and it was on the floor in a corner in the room.
>>51197891And pic of revolvers from my grandpa.
>>51197897Most likely was some kind of grease that already had mold spores and they just grew in the dark. Just clean them throughly, reaply a mild oil to the leather and put it way.Btw congratulations, you had a grandfather with terrific taste
Old smiffs best smiffs
>>51191449Rare autismo revolver, is it yours?
>>51188371>>51187426shame about the hole
Why do people say nagants are ugly? I find them quite aesthetic personally
>>51185964Woah, a little warning next time, now my pants are full of cum
>>51197891Maybe Grandpa jizzed in it- when you get old, it just comes out dusty like a devils snuff box.

>>51185387Can some more knowledgeable anon tell me if a S&W is a good concealed carry? I'm a pretty thin guy and don't want it to be too visible in my shirt if I IWB carry. I currently carry an LCP II and a NAA 22lr but I am in love with the dark metal OG grips Model 36. How bulky and heavy is it for CC? Would I be printing like a motherfucker if carrying it IWB? Thanks.
>>51205675S&W model 36, I meant. 2 inch barrel. Original grips. Pic of my current EDC that I wanna replace with that sweet sweet 36
>>51200359Give me the lowdown on that 36. Good EDC for CC? How's the weight and concealability?
>>51196476Imagine getting killed by a buttsex gun.
>>51205776Not him but i've carried a 49, 36, and 637. For pocket carry I prefer the shrouded hammer of the bodyguard frame, but covering the hammer with your thumb as you draw also works. It's a j-frame so obviously it's easy to conceal. I would suggest a grip adapter like the tyler t-grip or it's equivalents if you're planning to use the factory grips.
>>51205818How do you think a Kydex IWB would feel and work? Thanks for the good response.
>>51205818I have a Taurus 856 I IWB carry sometimes and it's like dragging around a cinder block. I believe its basically a j frame. Big difference?
>>51205818>>51205839Pic related. Its horrible.
>>51205839>it's like dragging around a cinder blockI see posts like this and I can't understand them. It's like I live in a different physical reality.
>>51205839Funny you should mention that. A family friend purchased an 856 a year or so ago (Recently traded it on another handgun) and we both remarked that it was a bit larger than a j-frame. As far as weight goes i've carried full size handguns, including a Jericho without a problem so the weight doesn't bother me.
>>51205870Those grips look fuck huge.>>51205879An 856 is like a COlt D frame size. A bit larger than a J frame with 6 shots instead of 5. Still reasonably svelte compared to something like a K frame Smith.
>>51205823I've never cared for kydex with blued firearms. Something about the sound of the draw just makes me imagine blueing being scraped off my gun.
>>51205876I'm a 6'1" 150 pound dude who wears relatively tight clothes. I was printing like a mother fucker. I don't mean heavy weightwise but like its profile on my body and how much space it took up. I EDC a LCP II so it's night and day.
>>51205879Thanks for the input. I'm selling me LCP II, NAA 22, and 856 tomorrow to try and get like 80% of what I need for a Model 36. 800 is my limit.
>>51205900You'll either dress around the gun or you won't. It's not the gun's fault.
>>51205892Yeah I put the original grips back on. It's my car gun. Those grips were like 30 bucks. Some anon was shitting on them earlier. They're butt ass ugly.
>>51205914..Don't sell all your carry guns
>>51205926It ain't easy looking this good, anon.
>>51205931Why not? I'd make the 36 my EDC. I'm in love with the LCP II and the NAA but the taurus can drink my ass
>>51205943You don't need tight clothes to look good. Being skinny gives you the most options for layering while still looking /fa/ and not overheating.
>>51205898Fair. I just hate pocket carry. I've never carried a nice revolver before or been able to afford a S&W until recently
>>51205963Get something like a Remora or sticky holster. Won't fuck up the finish.
>>51205959Yea true. I lost 40 pounds and I no longer look like a fucking liquor swollen Buddha so, as gay as it sounds, I'm enjoying wearing nice clothes.
>>51205970Maybe leather IWB? I know it's irrational but pocket carry always makes me paranoid about blowing my cock off like John Wayne Bobbitt
>>51206003I use a remora IWB.
>>51206013How much did your 36 set you back?
>>51205951If you're cash strapped get a 637. You can pick one up in the $450 range. Later when you can afford it you can go find yourself an older blued j-frame.
>>51206025Doesn't matter you can't get one now for what I paid years ago. Shit is permafucked since the panic last year.
>>51206027Yeah that might work. It looks kinda sexy with the Model 36 style grips. I'd feel compelled to just save the extra 300 for the 36 tho. Thanks for the advice, anon. You can come by my house sometime and fuck my fat little sister.
>>51206044>thisI bought my 49 for $400 and it was essentially brand new.
>>51206044Yeah I see 750 as the lowest on gun broker. I want a Baby Chief so bad but I'd kill myself if I spent 2k on a piece.
>>51206058Yeah not bad but I hate shrouded hammers. A revolver should be a revolver.
>>51206082I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first either. But it kinda grew on me. I regret a lot of things in life but having to sell that is towards the top of the list.
>>51206027It doesn't come blued or in black metal as far as I know. I ain't about that shine.
>>51206114Whyd you have to sell it? Cash strapped? I'd buy you it back if we were friends, anon.
>>51206115Not my favorite thing either. However the upside is that it won't rust, and you won't feel like shit if it gets banged up. Fuck I don't even carry my 36 during the summer anymore. It's why it still looks so damn nice.
>>51206138Yeah people say not to carry them in summer. Does sweat fuck them up? I'm dead set on carrying a 36 as my EDC but I want to weigh all factors before dropping close to a g-note on it and selling my beloved LCP II 380.
>>51206133Was taking care of a sick family member and wasn't generating a lot of income as a result. Sold off the majority of my collection at the time.
>>51206155Blueing isn't an especially durable finish in general, and sweat/holster wear will eventually remove the vast majority of the finish. You can slow the process down but you can't really stop it.
>>51206164That sucks bro. I just lost 2 grandpa's in the same year. He gave me this.
>>51206138Yeah I don't carry any of my older blued revolvers either. If I was that guy I'd just keep using the 856 for a carry gun and keep the 36 for pleasure. I mean think about having to use it and then the cops take it.
>>51206027What about the gun in OP? I've seen them for $200.
>>51206155You can get holsters with sweat guards but you're already bitching about an 856 being too big lol.
>>51206179Ah. I don't want that. Shitty a gun that cool had drawbacks.
>>51206191They are bulky and ugly, though. I've carried a 1911 and it was insanely inconvenient.
>>51206185I've never actually owned or shot an NAA revolver. Though i've handled them and they seem pretty neat. I also know that one ended up at the bottom of a pond after one of my frens took a bit of the tip of his finger off shooting his one day.
>>51206208An 856 is not bulky lol.
>>51206219>>51206185They're fun as hell and incredibly well made. If you get the pic related grips they are easy as hell to carry. Looks like a knife in your pocket. It's the gun a carry when I don't carry a gun. Insanely inaccurate and insanely loud for a 22lr. The picrel grips make it much easier to get a grip on. No worries carrying it in your pocket because not only is it a single and action and the trigger is covered but it has safety notches in the cylinder so the hammer never rests behind a round.
>>51206208I'll carry it for you fren.
>>51206250They are when you EDC a LCP. I also can't print because of my job but I need to be armed because of my job. >>51206259Thanks, man. I'd give it to you if we were best friends.
>>51206155Just get a stainless model 60.
>>51206290If I'm dropping that kind of bread I'd want it in a darker metal.
>>51206290I'd also want to pass it on to my daughter so I probably shouldn't edc it unfortunately. Shit sucks. All my life I've just wanted the opportunity to shoot someone in self defense with a Model 36
