Surely this could be brought to OSHA/NIOSH against MIRA for false advertising?

Also smoke, C02 filters are a niche area not covered by CBRN filters.

How long do standard 40mm filters last for blocking covid particulates?
>>
Got some older filters for my m50, the man date is 2013 and check date is 2018. The container is still airsealed, are they good?
>>
>>50791884
Nice buy, what version is it though?
>>50791906
Technically particulate filters don't expire, keep them in a dry environment when not in use and wash the outside of the filter between each use.

Check for mold Groth in the intake.
>>
Avon M50 vs M53, proprietary filters vs NATO, which should I pick for mask nazi compliance?
>>
>>50791921
Yeah, they'll still be good, expiry dates are really just a legal thing, filters have been show effective long after their expiration, a polish study a while ago found GP5 filters from the 80s still function todaybut they still contain asbestos
>>
>>50791937
M50, cheaper and less resistance.
M53 is definitely more aesthetic though

>>
>>50791921
>>50791939
Less than even a legal thing, more of a planned obsolescence thing. Avon filters are only stated to last 5 years even though they are stable far longer.
>>

Anything with a replaceable filter.
China and Russia still produce GOST threaded masks, buy a fresh filter for either and any cheap Soviet mask you want
>>
>>50792220
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/05/200521124646.htm

Any P3 or N99 rated mask should be good enough
An N95/P2 is still fairly decent at a 85% filtration rate for anything smaller than 300nm
Remember they use static as the filtration medium, it's not a physical filter like activated charcoal
>>
wait, what's going on with MIRA?
I see >>50788461 with shady advertising, but are they peddling bad masks and shit?
>>
>>50792493
There new "CM7" mask keeps failing, hence why they haven't been released, and the more you look at it the more you'll see why, pretty sure breathing resistance and lense warping are two of the more serious issues they are having
>>
>>50792493
I'm pretty sure advertising an unrated product like this is illegal as well
>>
>>50792446
So is it easy to clean the filters on the M50? And what exactly does one do to clean the filters?
>>
>>50792533
I don't get why they keep trying to sell the the CM7 for just $10 more than the CM6. Pretty sure the CM6 actually has actual users, albeit very limited use.

c50/m53 are the best for this job. M40 does a manageable job as well. The FM12 is another good choice with they way the eye pieces are set. OM90's are okish but should be avoided because of how the oral nasal cup behaves, it fogs up the eye pieces a lot.

Things like that come and go. I would trough ebay for milleniums, they go for about 100 dollars right now. It may or may not come with a bag, these cost about 15. Bought a Fernez like pic rel. since my GP5 obviously isn't preferable.
Did I do good /k/? Got it for like $70 AUD.

These are really nice masks desu. A friend of mine has one and they do amazingly.
>>
>>50814494
If you are Australian you can get a lot better cheaper
I know Scott M98s and Drager industrial masks pop up often here cheap,

I've never come across either of those for this cheap but I'll keep an eye out in future.

Do any companies produce modern GOST filters, or do you have to rely on Post-Soviet sealed filters
>>
>>50820064
You can get cheap Chinese GOST filters off AliExpress, they would be safe.
Otherwise you can try to get Russian ones but that's harder.
Vietnam may also use GOST but they'd be far too rare to seriously consider
>>
Found this meme shit on Etsy
Kinda like these bootleg filters though

Believe it's an M40 and from what i've seen they go for 100-200 bucks

What full face mask would you guys recommend that can withstand pretty noxious and corrosive chemicals like azinphos-methyl, diesel fuel/DEF fluid, ammonium chloride, sulfuric acid, and other shit? Also heat resistant is a plus.
Visibility is important. I would like to have no distortion in the peripheral vision if possible

What mongoloid can’t rip apart old filters and tape house air filters in them?
>>
>>50822212
What is this
>>
>>50822225
My poverty mask from the pandemic. It was raining ash where I lived and you couldn’t buy real sealing masks cause of shortages so I made this. The filters had the flapper valves so I had to rebuild that. Uncharged vent filter on top, charged house air filter under it
>>
How long do filters last? How many should i
>>
>>50823341
Depends on the environment. In low burden areas p3 filters can last months. In saturated environments a cbrn might only last 30 minutes.

I have a GP7V with a Nato filter attached like a true patrician

Anything in particular?
MSA Millennium okay?

Yeah, but the soft lense makes me skeptical

What would you suggest?
Cost isn't much of a factor, I'll get reimbursed
>>
>>50825846
If cost isn't a factor
Avon FM54 is literally peak mask design
C50 is cheaper but not far off
Might need second skin for the C50 though

Does anyone make a 40mm to hydration/drinking straw adapter? I have a picrel and don't plan on running dual-filters, seems like it'd be nice to convert the other.
>>
>>50835241
Can't find a seller for the adaptor
>>
>>50835322
Does an adapter even exist? I can find voicemitters but not hydration adapters.
>>
>>50835824

It does but I don't think they are in production anymore since Scott got eaten by 3M
