Also in the hotel .Sadly, I don't think I will have my rifles with me this time.
Do all private sales require a background check there ?
In Florida, I can buy like a 200 dollar shotgun at the flea market, not sure it it like that there
Should I camp at Rocky Mountain National Park ? or should I search for Public Lands to camp on ?

Unfortunately the answer is multicam, since it was developed for Afghanistan and our state looks a lot like Afghanistan. I don't use it though, ATACS is good, desert patterns are pretty good, unironically UCP for rocky areas, and some others. Innawoods, M81, Flecktarn, and SS-Leto would do well.

ngmi, sadly it does work in the mountains quite well, aside from heavily wooded areas. Colorado has a shit ton of terrain though which vary a lot, so it makes it hard to have just one. You need a desert camo, a woodland camo, and overwhites at the very least. Something like a Partizan suit that's reversible is probably ideal.

Pretty easy to cut-off and beseige the Left Corridor. Hell, the mountain towns would probably cave pretty quickly.
>>
>>50809100
Just make a custom build, Aero makes a lot of good parts, but something like a Criterion barrel (or similar) will serve you the best. Very easy to put together a sub MOA relatively cheaply now. That said, I wouldn't sneeze at something like a 20 inch AR-15 build for mountain warfare either.
>>
>>50809635
One other note, battle rifles do make a lot of sense in general in this state. The plains and mountains mean there's sight lines very often beyond 600m.
>>
>>50809652
What's the longest shot you've made?
>>
>>50809670
1000m, though I haven't had a chance to do that with my AR-10 yet. Furtherest I've gotten with the AR-10 was a head sized target at 600m and it was pretty windy.

Not true. All the Confederates at Glorieta were Texanites. CO-bros burned their wagon train, drove off 500 of their mules and horses, spiked their cannons, and got away with prisoners. Forced the Confeds to abandon Arizona and New Mexico, along with their rich gold, silver, and copper mines.
>>
>>50809855
Texanites got caught in a late spring blizzard, but their food and blankets had been burned. A number died of mere exposure, the rest had a bad time. Even worse when they had to retreat through NM desert back to Texas.

so, multiple people around me have had their cars stolen, whether it be parked outside of a business for 20 minutes (doors locked, keys out, hotwired), while shuttling items into their house (doors unlocked, keys in, out of visual for about three minutes), or just disappeared overnight. for the vehicles that were found - with either a blown or entirely missing engine, no wheels, and missing trim pieces - guess where they were?
further, the two folks I personally know that went to retrieve said husk were approached by courteous but obviously-armed and clearly competent ranchers to ascertain the reason for their visit, and advised to try and get a hold of the landowners before wandering the SLV, as local law enforcement does not have the capacity or desire to respond to the variety of "hey some random meth head is trying to kill a car / fuck a cow / kill someone who looked at him funny in the midst of the high desert" calls that come in.
all of the first hand info I quote above is from the past 1.5 years.

How do you blow the engine of a car like that?

> as local law enforcement does not have the capacity or desire to respond to the variety of "hey some random meth head is trying to kill a car / fuck a cow / kill someone who looked at him funny in the midst of the high desert" calls that come in
Shit, I've got a story about this.
> Be me, last November.
> Just got out of the 2-week covid quarantine, going very stir-crazy.
> Throw my shit in the back of my van and book it to the SLV for a few nights of camping.
> Find a nice BLM road below Blanca Peak (sort of close to Alamosa) to park off of.
> Around 1 am I hear knocking on my window and wake up *instantly*, adrenaline pumping.
> As I'm ripping my sleeping bag off me, I'm thinking there's a methhead trying to get in.
> Get out of sleeping bag in world record time (1 sec) and the first thing I notice the car is flooded with LED light. There's two Alamosa PD squad cars parked behind the van and an officer shining his light in and knocking.
> I crawl over and roll down the window.
> He says something like "Hey, we've recieved reports that someone is going around knocking on windows. That isn't you, is it?".
> "No, and I haven't heard any knocking"
> "Ok, have a nice nap" and the two officers leave.
I sat there a while trying to figure out what happened and why the cops showed up so far away from anything. The only other people were in a pickup with a topper camper about a mile down the road so my best guess is they called the cops because they heard the wind pushing something around. Thoughts?

Pic is of Blanca Peak the morning after. Pretty damn beautiful.

No, leftys even hate Californians in Denver. Boulder is 95% Californians, so Cali hate isn't a thing there. Texans are mostly disliked by people who don't know how to distinguish someone from Dallas from the rest of Texas. All of the bad stereotypes come from Dallas people, except for being a shitty driver - Houston and San Antonio are equally bad.

sorry posted too quickly.
I imagine there has been an ENORMOUS uptick in inexperienced transients/vacationers over the past couple seasons in the SLV just like everywhere else. knowing that, I would normally assume the cops in that area would care less about frivolous calls from white girls, but maybe local communities have been encouraging police activity to try and get more tourism dollars, maybe people """''investing in the area"""" have been trying to make changes.
I have zero evidence for any of this so my post is probably all bullshit, but you did say "thoughts?" so uh... there they are.

Already have friends in GJ, plus Utah would be kinda shit for me specifically. I hate libtard hipster types and would not be welcome amongst the Mormons since I left the church. Plus Utah doesn't have quite as much outdoor shit.
>>
>>50821982
What part?
Some areas' crackheads are more bullet resistant than others. If you're working in Denver be prepared for a bunch of fat people with neon hair to be waving their phones in your face and screaming at you if anyone sees your conceal carry.
Also prepare to be approached for weed instead of just being approached for cigarettes/change.
