How does one achieve this, I want to buy a pistol parts kit and recreate something like this as I would love to have a metal framed and polymer framed version of the same pistol. How did you get the specs for the frame?
>>

Of all the NGSW/related tech coming out now, this definitely seems to be a gimmick that they won't adopt.
That kind of gimbal set up is rather complex and the gain seems fairly small comparatively.

I've been thinking about this a lot, it doesn't surprise me the Russians are on it. It's an effective idea for ground combat/infantry, and makes a lot of sense.

Retard here, assuming you made a gun and chamber to fit it, could you realistically print your own plastic cartridge out of abs with extremely thick walls and a small charge?

Say you only wanted to get a 90gr 0.355" to do 800 fps but you used a case the diameter of a 45 auto, longer, and filled in all the excess with more plastic. Maybe even relieve pressure further by encasing the bullet with a sabot and go down to a 73gr 30cal. Is it possible?

that's pretty fucking cool. any idea how the brass is done? like just micron sized particles in the mix or what? I kinda want to try and make it. this is likely a liquid fuel mixture I assume, but I wonder if you could add the tiny particles into a like a normal solid smoke grenade mixture and have them be puffed out with it too.

uhhh alright I guess, it would literally be easier to design these as open bolt, less pieces and a single trigger and sear would be easy to make some some metal bits.
Much simpler than an AR FCG which you may not be able to get.
