safety sux and the trigger is plastic and weird.
Fix those for a couple hundred bucks and it's perfect

The grip texture is the worst part. The trigger safety is also bad. Also it's ugly.

Pussyass thin skin over here.
>>
>>47370300
Yes it's uncomfortable, but not only that, it makes the gun unsuitable for CC because it tears up undershirts and grips outer shirts so your gun will be yanking the fabric and printing more prominently.
>>
>>47370499
So don't wear cheap clothing. It's not that hard.

Removing the safety is free and an Apex solid trigger bow is like $20.

The "swoopy" design is so that everything behind it can be swapped out for different size grip panels. I'm using the biggest "potato" grip and it's comfy as hell.

>>
>>47375710
what are you, retarded? SigSauer needs to stop trying to be the cheap SIG
>SigSauer is not SIG, unfuck yourself
>>
Ways that the M&P 2.0 is better than a Glock:
-nice single action trigger
-rear slide serrations function when wet or covered in oil
-you have the option to easily swap a thumb safety in or out of the gun
-the slide lock prevents the slide from accidentally going forward when a magazine is slammed into the gun
-can be field stripped without pulling the trigger (but you need to know what you're doing, which kind of defeats the purpose of avoiding NDs)
-comes with steel sights and steel guide rod, at a slightly lower price point than a Glock

Ways that the M&P 2.0 is worse than a Glock:
-slide lock on right side of the gun can't be used a slide release
-front slide serrations unusably bad, apparently are just for aesthetics
-grip texture is more aggressive to have against your body for concealed-carry than that of a Glock, some people complain of discomfort
-magazines are more expensive and aftermarket is smaller
>>
>>47370943
this is the only real negative ive found about the MP9

>having to rack the slide on a reload instead of just thumbing the slide release to save that precious .2 of a second

that .2 might be the difference
>>
>>47370943
Mine works more than fine. The one on my shield won't move.
>>
>>47379387
>that 0.20 might make a difference.

Lol no. Especially not on a reload.
>>
>>47379428
You're not an operator, you wouldn't understand.
>>
>>47371203
I 100% agree with you.
It would look WAY better, actually very aesthetic if it had:
>straight/slanted slide serrations
>no front slide serrations
>no swoopy grip design.
>clean up/simplify some of the frame such as removing the holes and unnecessary curves/edges.
>standard looking trigger
I'd be all over one if it looked like this. It would actually look like a poly striker successor to the 3rd gen autoloaders.
>>
>>47379428

Is it safe to run extended mags without using the sleeve? I've heard the mags can push up and mess up your gun. I want to run 17 round mags in the m&p 2.0 compact without the sleeve.
>>
>>47380957
The m&p trigger safety is objectively bad. It's basically more trigger on your trigger and doesn't make it safer like the smaller glock mini-trigger safety. If you apply pressure upwards on the trigger, your finger couches in the unlock-able section. This makes you have to consciously shift pressure down to get the trigger safety to unlock and can cause a nasty step down/two stage trigger effect which may cause an accidental discharge. Also the trigger is pretty thin and i swear i can feel it flexing. Everything else on the m&p 2.0 is superior though and makes me overlook the trigger.
>>
Get a real pistol
>>
>>47382824
>two stage trigger causes accidental discharge
Tf you stupid or something lmao?
>>
>>47384474
You end up putting excess pressure on the upper trigger, then drop down, and can accidentally get it to go off as the trigger unlocks.
>>
>>47370236
Speed holes in the frame
Manual safety
Weird mushy trigger
Could have made it take Glock mags, didn’t
Could have made it take Glock grip plugs, didn’t
Could have made it take Glock sights, didn’t

It’s p good but does have flaws

>>
>>47379387
the slide release is on the left side of the gun, not the right. because most people are right handed, not queers. but you can mod your M&P to have the slide release on the right side if you wish.
>>
>>47379962
the slide release is on the left side where your thumb goes if you're right handed., not the right.

can you replace the sights with some night sights? I haven't found any that'd replace that rear sight the only ones for the model I've seen online require the novak sights. I hate that the sights are completely unusable at night.

I fucking hate the trigger shoe. The Shield's is better, being thicker and straighter. Other than that, I love it, even with the safety, which actually feels like a 1911 thumb safety, and not an afterthought that got slapped on for who-knows-why
