Once the jap version is having their 3 times drop rate period, it will be my mission to grind nothing but Red Marisa cards. With all those new characters I am getting real tired of having to swap stuff around. I have 4 characters who can win the battle in 1 turn and the last school slot will just be Iku.

If you reroll for any SFES, consider it an investment that might take a month or two to pay off. The best of them right now is Flan's.Also the other anon suggesting Hecatia isn't wrong, but you might not appreciate her at first because her (incredibly powerful) LW is solo-target. Luckily she shares a banner with Yuuka, who has a strong all-target LW. I'd go for both of them if you can, that'd be a great start for a new player. Their banner starts in 3 hours at reset and will last for 48 hours afterwards. Other good characters are basically any character that resembles their ZUN art and has a special title, like the PCB Yukari right now, and the characters on the 48 hour rotation right now that aren't Koishi and Satori (they are very cute but not exactly meta)

I saw event trade-in's seem to be the ideal beyond just waiting, and while I'm at the point where I can kinda push my way through the event (due to rerolling for hours for purple-Flan and Hecatia to anons advice) it's still a little rough. You get 7.2k coins daily from just maxing out your offering box, and after a couple months of playing you'll have more coins than you'll ever need. I can always buy the mediocre stacks since I finish total point thing, but I've never fully bought the last two stacks. It takes way too many event points and is just there so you can cash out any points you have after you've bought the worthwhile stuff.Also maybe now's a good time to mention that LW is pretty grind heavy. There's some good structured content, but most of the game is grinding for either event points or story card drops. If that's not your thing, quit before sunk cost fallacy kicks in.

In the end she got killed by smallest of all Junkos breaking her around 5 times with her regular shot, which would be pretty cool if it was intentionally designed for something like that but I highly doubt it. Hecatia will eventually get powercrept by some FES unit, but she's been top-tier for a year in JP and is one of the few FES units to be consistently top-tier. In case you are curious, Blonde Reisen is basically impossible to kill in a 1v1 fight. That's Phantasm arena Shion and she can not do any damage against Reisen. That's without even using any spells. If I wanted to, I could spend 100 turns to eventually beat her down with just regular attacks. Both of Reisen's regular shots absord health and her 2nd shot also buffs her evasion so she just sits at 10 dodge forever like that. At full health she only takes 25% damage which she instantly heals back up. She only needs to shield for spells but not does she have a skill that restores a barrier, she also has a passive with a high chance to just recover a shield each turn. She never runs out.

Feels like you'd use too much SP if you grind with them more than once a day.
