>>35790123I can't get into loosely connected "stories" like that. F/SN is a massive epic by VN standards, but it has a very clear scope, goals, themes, etc. Gatcha shit is just inherently designed to go on forever and ever. Writers have to pump out the next chapter. Who knows how well it meshes with the previous stuff or if it will have any sort of coherency as a whole. I mean sure in theory it's possible but the whole thing is just a recipe for disaster.
Think this is the fastest I've seen someone make a /tmg/ thread. Anyway, what does Nasu say about Gil in the character material?
>>35790329I noticed we were sliding off the board incredibly fast after the bump limit. I don't know what the fuck happened. Some stupid holo spam again?
>>35790276Good job OP for making using of one of Arc's new CG
>>35790363I would assume so. Man this place is gonna be wild once TsukiR comes out.
>>35790329'I have a thing for intelligent child characters so I remember having Takeuchi very carefully design him... this is a secret but both design-wise and personality-wise I love ko-Gil, so it was a shame to only use him in Hollow... or so I thought until he made an unlikely appearance in Prisma Illya. This made Kinoko very happy.'
>>35790429enjoy your entire thread being EOPs spamming fgog and twitter summaries
>>35790560right after you release the rest of the routes.
>>35790519I knew Nasu was a pervert but wow this is more than I expected.
>>35790560Only when he forces Takeuchi to give back Arc's granny skirt.
>>35790519And people think Nasu is not a woman
Seeing these kind of images is still crazy.
>>35790519well that explains this sentence.
I FINALLY finished all the Koi-Koi storiesSometimes my bad luck really started ticking me off>>35790822Yeah I also wondered why Shirou was subtly lusting after Gil
surprised stuido bb isn't saying anything for the Fate Extra 11th anniversary tomorrow. Guess they must be too busy to say anything or Nino will probably celebrate it soon.
>>35790938When are we going to get fate/extra remake news...?
>>35790938Nobody cares about EXTRA, anon. They're remaking the original because it was such a shit game.
>>35791154I would've assumed tomorrow if you asked me several months ago, but it seems they hit a snag in development like they mentioned in TM magazine 13. Hope they've fixed their issues and working on the game is going more smoothly. I'd like for Nino to tweet about more news soon due to to anniversary tomorrow.
I wouldn't be surprised if studio BB never manages to release a game. Literally owned by a company that can't even finish VN or mobage chapters
>>35791294I believe in Nino and his credits have shown him releasing many good games and without much delay. Studio BB is pretty separate from TM and can pretty much just do whatever they want development wise. The issue is them not having much staff to work with since Nino wanted it to be small in order to just release small indie games which he's a fan of. He's working on extra record with another company so I think the issue is on the other company who is doing most of the work.
>>35791346What other company are they working with?
>>35791442They haven't said who and I don't believe that info is known. He talked about making three games, a small one working in-house, a bigger game but not the big dream one he wants to make which would need another developers help with, and the last game being his dream game that would take many years to make. Studio BB only has around 10-20 members so they wouldn't be able to make extra remake with that amount of people so they're clearly getting help.
ARON WHAT HAVE YOU DONE https://twitter.com/AronHeadbutt/status/1418060474315313160?s=20
>>35791586are you the same faggot that posts literal whos from twitter?
>>35790728It's surreal. Less than a year ago we were full-time doomers.
>>35791625Aron is a literal who now? I'll stop posting stuff from twitter if people don't like it, but I usually keep it in spoiler marks so it doesn't bother people.
>>35791646Stop fucking spoilering it for starters.
>>35791646Why would misusing spoiler tags make it any better? This is jp.
>>35791709Huh, figured people didn't like seeing twitter links like that in general on here. I'll stop doing that from now on. Sorry about that.
>>35790301Still the best color
>>35791727I'll cut to the chase, it's normie weeb trash. The only twitter people I care about are certain art accounts.Fateshit focused accounts are all trash.
>>35791802Oh yeah fuck twitter. I just care about artists that post stuff on twitter. I would never post twitter rants or other garbage like that. Aron's just an exception due making good content over the years. I agree with you that fuck twitter in general except the artists.
>>35791644Yeah and with good reasons. Remember when this picture was all the hope we had for the remake being an actual thing?
were your expectations subverted?
>>35791863It was wild going from giving up when the 20 year anniversary came and went, to them showing off the PV just a couple of days later.
does one need to play old tsukihime to get what goes on in the new tsukihime
>>35791987Not really since the new one is looking to be pretty different from the original. I'd still reccomend you read it to see the differences once you read the remake. It's also a good story so it's worth a read. It isn't too long so you can beat it before the remake comes out.
>>35791907Yeah, it was pretty insane and thankfully Nasu seeing so many people talk about the 20th anniversary of Tsukihime made Nasu decide to release the first trailer early. I wish I could see people's reaction to the first trailer from here all over again.
What an amazing image. Going through AC's arcade mode is worth it for stuff like this.
Looking to get a physical copy of type lumina, should there be any issues just preordering from amazon jp? Playasia's been a safe bet in the past but they've already sold through the special editions.
Let's assume Tsukihime Remake will get translated, how tf will it be possible to play it translated since it's a console game this time and not for PC?
>>35792626By emulating it?
>>35792326Melty was really the last bit of actually good Takeuchi art.
>>35792589Depending if Japan is sending shit to your country through air or not the shipping can take literal months right now. If nothing is gonna change over the next month I'm gonna have to buy the digital version of Tsuki in addition to the physical. Fucking covid, man.
>>35792646There’s no doubt that Melty Blood was his best work, but the remake trailers have had some impressive CGs and the sprites been great.
>>35792638It's a thing? For PS4? Switch?
>>35793008>SwitchYes, but we won’t know if it’ll actually work until the game’s out
>>35792646People say this mostly because it refines the style instead of reinventing it. But that isn't necessarily better
>>35793080There's too much Koyama in his newest CGs, which isn't a problem per se since Koyama is a significantly better artist, but I don't like the way his art has merged with it. I would've infinitely preferred Koyama just doing all the CGs for the remake.
Caster and Rider are both very, very overrated tbqh
>>35793732Someone finally said it.
>>35790276based retard with his artifact riddled screenshots
>>35793732This is the only place I've ever seen anyone like Caster.
I hate doomposters because they never learn from their mistakes and pretend the rest of us don't remember either. All the people who would snicker at the mere mention that the remake was being worked on because Nasu said so now just pretends that never happened.
Removed vocals from PV3https://voca.ro/1fdKCRtmdz8C
>>35794881>All the people who would snicker at the mere mention that the remake was being worked on because Nasu said soYeah why would anyone have been snickering at that when it took 20 years to actually come out a real mystery there.
>>35794881To be fair, doomposters in our case were necessary, otherwise this thread would be dead.
>>35795095Because Nasu literally said so and you people were acting like it was some elaborate cynical plot to keep his core fanbase happy.
>>35794881I mean hopechads are retarded too for acting like the rest of the routes will ever actually release.
>>35795200Literally doing it again with no self-awareness. I guess Nasu is lying about that too.
>>35795178I agree with you that the doomposters are retarded but>and you people were acting like it was some elaborate cynical plotIt was, go look why it took longer than it needed on interviewsHe could have released that shit (including melty) by 2015, but no, gotta change FGO plot all over first because muh syncplot.
>>35795200That's more Takeuchi money eyes making more money releasing things separetly with DLCs and etc.I mean, everybody does that shit releasing early and etc, why wouldn't they do the same with a what seems to be a pretty long VN.
>>35795306because Nasu has a pattern of never finishing episodic releases. Maybe I wouldn't be so cynical if they just said something like "We expect the rest of the game to release by the end of next year." or something, but they don't do that because they aren't confident any date they'd name would actually end up happening. Instead all their wording treats the remake as a complete standalone product and the rest is another game.
>>35795663Even FGO suffers from that, if you pay attention, and FGO is something that is meant to be somewhat predictable.LB6 has 2 timelocks already and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a third one.
>>35795749I give him a break for LB6 because it really does seem like it's all the other developers being unable to keep up with his script, including people working directly at type moon. It does still show managment issues that aren't being dealt with though. Having a "first half" and "second half" and then throwing in an "epilogue" that clearly isn't a fucking epilogue but another 20% of the chapter is a joke. similarly, I have serious doubts that the rest of the Tsukihime routes will actually release as one game. I fully expect there to be a 3 way split instead of the 2 way split they're been implying.
>>35792771You sure about that? Amazon uses DHL for shipping and those fuckers are beasts that ship everywhere including third world shitholes. In the past, I always used EMS for shipping a lot of stuff but then Japan Post decided to be faggots and stopped shipping to the US for well over a year. I had a package sitting on hold that entire time. Anyways during that time period, I just used DHL and everything was fine. When Japan Post started shipping to the US again, they jacked the rates way up (now they cost more than DHL) and are still incompetent so fuck them.
>>35794035I was right about Nino saying something about Extra. Looks like we won’t see this game for a while, probably until the New Year’s stream.
>>35795083Thanks for doing this anon. Will give it a listen now.
>>35794881>All the people who would snicker at the mere mention that the remake was being worked on because Nasu said so now just pretends that never happened.Of course, people are always skeptical of claims like that when there's no actual visible results for over a decade. You can't blame anyone. I didn't believe in anything either until the first trailer came out in December.
>>35794177It's just standard youtube compression. Nobody said you should save it forever in your Arc folder. We're not going to get better quality until the game comes out (preferably with someone figuring out how to rip the assets).
>>35796285DHL doesn't ship to my country.
>>35794881Generally, when you say you're going to do something and don't produce real results for over a decade people stop believing you.
>>35796462>You can't blame anyone.I can blame them because they were telling me I was delusional and when the facts prove them wrong they just go back to their dumbass thinking like here>>35795200If the facts tell you that x is happening and you say "no actually y is happening there's a conspiracy and x is a lie" and then x happens you can't just say "ok so x happened but it was a fluke and x-2 isn't happeneing this time for sure you're delusional if you think otherwise". It's very annoying getting talked down to by people who get shit wrong and still think they're smart. People who doompost have nothing going for them apart from cynicism. It's literally a childish and emotional attitude like "well it would suck if y were true therefor y is true" and the rest of us who can assess facts like adult and not emotional children are supposed to just concede or something.>>35796700When you reach the point when you claim that Nasu has been lying in interviews about the remakes progress you've gone insane. It was reasonable in 2014 to think he had abandoned it. It wasn't for the last 3 years when he would regularly talk about it.There's people here that still haven't noticed Nasu has a sort of schedule autism that makes him delay shit on purpose. They think everything is delayed for production reasons.
>>35796747I don't know why you chose to reveal yourself as so heavily invested into this stupid shit, it's cringe as fuck. At the end of the day it took them over a decade to release the Remake and it literally isn't even complete. You somehow view this as a win.
>>35796777Doomposters are cringe.
>>35796747It feels like you're rewriting history. Basically nobody around here believed the remake was actually going to happen until those twitter leaks and still people were largely skeptical (because fucking twitter). There was no real actual evidence until December of last year. Being quite reasonably skeptical of the release of Tsuki R does not make one a "doomposter". I would wager that many of the optimistic people right now in the past did not believe this would actually happen at all either.
>>35796797Companies aren't your friends anon, you don't need to defend them for having fucked up dev schedules and jewing people. Nasu doesn't care about you. He cares so little about you he cancelled the PC version to feed his own ego
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N40l2OJRl-ESo, I've been looking at Yuzu and Cemu. The results they have are that pretty much most main games can run on 4k 60fps depending on hardware (famous example is Breath of the Wild).Assuming that we won't really be running TsukiR on 4k, I guess we only need things like adapting the emulator code to run slide show animations and other programming related things, which are probably simple issues compared to things like BotW 3D axis bugs.So I guess most who can't buy/import it will be able to play it by september at least.
>>35796803You're the one rewriting history. I've had multiple arguments with these kinds of people telling me I was delusional for thinking TsukiR was happening. >>35796814It's not about defending TM it's about attacking retarded emotional children who literally think in term so of "x is worse case scenario therefor x is true".
>>35796816You can't even play the xenoblade 2 DLC on emulators.
>>35796816Yeah I'd wager the Remake will be playable shortly after it's released, after that it's just finding a way to hook the text, so that reading it is easier.
>>35796827Alright well you were right bro. Congrats. That doesn't make people dumb for doubting the release of a game that was in production hell for over a decade.
>>35796827>It's not about defending TMYou are literally insulting people that have basic pattern recognition and called a company out for failing to release a product, you absolutely are defending TM. You already revealed this when you typed that you actually believe Nasu just delayed shit to meet his schedule autism when he literally said in an interview he wanted the remake and UBW anime to release at around the same time. That was 6 years ago.
>>35796829I don't know why it is but DLC always seem to be a pain in the ass to get to work in emulators, I think the 360 emulator has the same problem too.
>>35796827Will you shut the fuck up already you dumb nigger?
>>35796827>it's about attacking retarded emotional children You're the one getting all emotional
>>35796844So the fact that these people incorrectly predicted the outcome has no relevance on their intelligence? It's all just a coincidence to you?>>35796886No I won't you retard. You doomposters need to fuck off.
>>35796827Take a second to breath and look at what you’re posting. You’re coming off as a sperg when people are giving you reasonable reasons to your argument. Do you really want to embarrass yourself any further than this?
>>35796937Forget it, he's retarded, he's not gonna stop, just ignore him.
>>35796937I don't care about being a sperg I'm not some normlafag. What I do care about is that discussing TsukiR was impossible here for years because doomposters kept making it about how disappointed they were in TM. Doomposting is just an elaborate way to blogpost.
>>35796816I'm not sure anything will need to be fixed, but if it does, who the fuck will be doing the fixing?
>>35796957>discussing TsukiR was impossible here for yearsBut there was largely nothing to discuss because nobody knew anything about the game.
>>35796975I've done 0 programming for emulators but if some shit is broken, I will spend all day debugging it and trying to fix it at least.
>>35796975Dunno about Cemu, as it is closed-source, but Yuzu is open source, so anyone can modify the code at least.I assume there are interested parties around probably on BL that are interested in helping.I do have some friends that could help, but they are last resorts.
>>35796892>So the fact that these people incorrectly predicted the outcome has no relevance on their intelligenceHoly shit you're retarded yes it has no bearing on their intelligence when we had so little information to go off of, it was just blind hope vs cynicism. It's also not like you guessed that for now they would only be releasing the near side routes, so by your logic that makes you a retard as well.Seriously does your dumb ass seriously think being intelligent means you're always right
>>35797067Not believing that Nasu was lying in interviews is not being "hopeful". All one has to do is not be some cynical conspiracy retard.
>>35796816Unless something has changed Cemu is only a Wii U emulator. For Switch your main choices are gonna be Yuzu and Ryujinx.
>>35797107>Not believing that Nasu was lying in interviews is not being "hopeful".So CCC was the last fate and I imagined everything else. Don't know where you get the idea that Nasu is some bastion of honesty
>>35797107Have you never heard of the term "development hell"? I don't know what interviews you are referring to specifically here, but to my knowledge, nothing was ever concretely said until the latest Type-Moon Ace we got last month. There was just vague "we're working it" mentions now and then which could mean anything.
>>35797155Oh, you're right. Well, Cemu is closed source so even if it did emulate switch it wouldn't really help.So yeah, pray for Yuzu then.
>>35797191>last monthOops, that wasn't last month obviously. I forgot the date. Sometime in March? Whatever.
>>35797191There was also that kyobee thing on the museum I think. But yeah, if I remember correctly, Nasu actually meant to announce TsukiR this year, near the release date.Thank god he changed it to something earlier.
>>35797191I was talking about the vague "we're working on it" yeah. That's all that someone who doesn't default to cynicism needs in order to think Nasu was working on it. Cynicism isn't some default truth of the world. It's just how emos think.
We ended one thread with yet more TL autism, and now this one has affirmation autism. It is an anonymous imageboard, lighten up.
>>35796747for now you're hyped as fuck but when the game comes out and it might turn out not that good as you expected, you gonna act like a little bitch crying that it's NOT 100% FAITHFUL just like those retards that were hyped for HF3 and shitted up threads their autistic bitching for monthstl;dr kill yourself
>>35797210Well that was leaked on twitter. People weren't supposed to know about it. It's probably a good thing that it got leaked though.>>35797213Okay you're a very trusting person and it worked out this time. Not everyone is though. This is a totally different scene and you may have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about but in a similar vein Yoshiki has promised he's been working on the new X Japan album for over a decade. It's still nowhere in sight of course.
>>35797294>just like those retards that were hyped for HF3Literally who? Basically everyone predicted that three films for HF was going to be a rushed clusterfuck and to nobody's surprise that's what it is. HF3 was arguably worse than most people expected, but I don't think at that stage people around here were really hyped for it.

>>35797413>>35797431Now this is the kind of doomposting that other anon was sperging about. But yes, people will be upset and disappointed if the game is bad. Nobody will know until it actually comes out.
>>35797330I was hyped for HF3 and it was great.>>35797413>>35797431Here we go again.
>>35797461it's only doomposting if you expect tsuki R to be kamige
Well, whatever happens on the VN itself doesn't really matter as the only real element of importance is the amount of spin off novels and works that will be released for the next years. We need more Nasu nepotism for good writers and artists making stories about cute nuns on the church and slice of life/mistery novels of Merem Solomon.
>>35797496At this stage, I think it is much more likely to be good than bad.
Doomposting can no longer faze me, I found peace in hope.
>>35797406Is Delightworks doing the translation? If so since they’re usually incompetent at their job so I would expect the same level of quality for their usual body of work. Since it’s a fighting game and there probably isn’t too much story to translate it isn’t that big of a deal.
I think what is likely to be a bit lacking is the length of it. At best right now it'll be somewhat shorter than FSN. Other than that I have reasonably high expectations.
>>35797549>Is Delightworks doing the translation?seems to be the case
>>3579756545 hours for two routes is pretty good. That's much longer than Mahoyo.
>>35797530being good doesn't prevent from not living up to the hype
>>35797565I hope it feels long enough to justify not having the far side routes. But considering Nasu wrote a fucking bible for the fairy shitstorm that is LB6, I don't think that'll be an issue
>>35797614I don't know what "living up to the hype" exactly means for everyone, but I will be a happy fellow if it's on par with past Type-Moon VNs I personally consider to be, at the minimum, excellent. So I guess that's somewhat high standards and maybe I'll set myself up for disappointments if it's "only good". We'll see.
>>35797646>But considering Nasu wrote a fucking bible for the fairy shitstorm that is LB6If there is something that we can believe is that Nasu will infodump
>>35797750honestly, the minimum I expect is a more detailed development on both relationships of characters and their pasts. I also expect more CGs for important flashbacks and etc. The choice of how much quality that will happen is or if the excuses for some things will be good are, atm, secondary to me.Not because I have a low expectation, but because FGO influence will fuck up some things for sure.
>>35797750keep up posted

>>35799193From DHL's site:>Please note: Only business shipments can be sent to Russia. Also my forwarding service says that DHL is a no go at the moment.
>>35799258wtf that sucks
>>35799153>You can't call it a shithole, only I can do thatlmao, typical pidoraha
Tsukihime is going to be a kamige. I'm convinced after the latest trailer drop.
>>35799851I think it’ll be good but modern Nasu always messes up something lore wise with adding something stupid after writing so much stuff. People will complain that it’s just FSN now with bombastic fights and shit like that. I can already see the complaints on here about it.
>>35800207>People will complain that it’s just FSN now with bombastic fights and shit like that.Which would be stupid considering some of the tsukihime characters are suppose to be servant tier and having servant like of fights would be warranted.
>>35800470He's right though. Near side also has plenty of fights in it.
>>35800279Yeah, the fighting scenes are laughable in Tsukihime with the writing not being great for them and the lack of any fighting music really makes them a boring affair. It's also embarrassing for Nero who's built up as a strong monster to be easily defeated by Shiki. Thankfully the remake will make these fighting scenes amazing like they should be.
>>35797803I'm still mad. She's just a red eyed Saber now.
>>35800527Arc's route in particular is just a boy meets girl story with fights.I love Tsukihime and it has its strengths but Arc's route is surpassed in pretty much all aspects by Saber's which is also very boy meets girl.I'm excited to see what Nasu does with it in the remake.
>>35800585yeah she totally looks like saber in the OP pic, right? dumb EOP
>>35800551This, better to go all out anyway because far side has practically no fights other than like SHIKI’s fight and Akiha’s
>>35800632Yes. Yes she does.
>>35800551>the lack of any fighting musicHey I like the obligatory spooky track as fighting BGM.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYBL2ZPtP60Some more would definitely be nice though. I can't wait for the new Tsuki R OST. That should be a banger.
>>35800671do americans really...?
>>35800527right about what? that tsukihime has fights like saber alter vs berserker?
>>35800699You can stop larping now.
>>35800707Do you just like being pointlessly obtuse? There are extremely powerful characters that fight each other in Tsukihime (ex: Nero vs Arc).
>>35800693I like that track too, but it doesn't really get me excited like FSN's fighting tracks like Sonic Barrage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTxEw3U1sXc&ab_channel=SubaruSumeragi22Yeah, the soundtrack should be a masterpiece with over 90 tracks being in the game which is insane. Imagine 90 tracks like the tier that Mahoyo has and FSN's best tracks with Keita working on it too. It sounds like a dream.
With Ciel's route being largely rewritten, do you think Ciel will finally stand on her own as a main heroine or will she still be the "second" heroine with Arcueid as the poster girl and main love interest? Having finished re reading her route recently, the lack of proper direction regarding her route sucks. Not only a good portion was taken from Arcueid route, but even what was supposed to be original ended up being hijacked by the poster girl. On top of that, her relationship with Shiki was rather disappointing due to Shiki's constant indecisiveness regarding pursuing Ciel completely or flip flopping between either Ciel/Arcueid. To crown it all, there's that supposed "good" ending where she's once again being taken as a secondary character rather than an heroine. Will Nasu finally take her character seriously or will Ciel forever remain a secondary character (akin to Rin), whether it is the essence of the story or her relationship with the protagonist?
>>35800718stop shitposting and do your reps
>>35800742I could see her getting cucked by Arc again in a good ending or something. The newly rewritten route definitely has the potential to be way better than the original so I am certain that alone will make Ciel stand out much more.
>>35800729all she does to nero is easily slicing up his animals with her long ass nails. that's hardly warrants for a 'servant tier fight'
>>35800793Lowercase poster stop being retarded. That's exactly the point. Both of them are objectively super strong characters full of powerlevel autism, but the fight in actual story is relatively tame in comparison. There's zero reason why this can't be more souped up in the remake since Type-Moon has actual production values unlike in 2000.
>>35800780I sincerely hope that the near side good endings will be rewritten, or removed completely. It's garbage and most of it makes no sense, not only that but it devalues the true endings completely.
>>35800831oh you're right, it was just a matter of production values that shiki just sliced up arc in pieces, today they would had EPIC SERVANT TIER FIGHT destroying half of the city because this is what SUPER STRONG characters do in shounenfag wet dreams LMAO
>>35800831ThisFeels like Nasu didn't know how to write fights or couldn't do it due to technical restrictions for the og Tsukihime. Sometimes people seem to think Tsukihime wasn't as action-oriented as Fate was, but there were plenty of fights and action scenes in Tsukihime, it's just that they were so short and forgettable people don't even remember them.I remember the last Shiki vs Akiha fight being pretty good, probably because since it's the last part of the last route Nasu had a bit more experience writing since the near side routes.Every other fight just feels like >Shiki sees line/point>Shiki slashes>Thing dies>Celebration rape
>>35800970>LMAOask me how I know you're an EOP
>>35800970Do you even know English?
tsukihime is shit the remake was mediocre and the remake will be a kusogebaby's first vn
>>35801013>the remake was mediocrewas it, John Titor?
>>35801013this but unironically
>>35800970Nero's body is literally a reality marble. Before he dies the 666 beasts within him become ARMOURED 999 making him grow in size. He's killed by a guy with the rarest mystic eyes in existence who's fighting next to (an injured but) arguably the most powerful being on earth who later in the game uses a reality marble. If this isn't at least 'servant tier' then you must only be able to pay attention when the game has flashy effects and CGs like Fate.
aren't Mystic Eyes and Reality Marbles like super rare?why does it feel like everyone has one or the other, if not both?
>>35801053He's a big guy.
>>35801088Because Nasu still wants to write about that stuff even if it's rare. Last I checked almost the entire cast of Tsukihime is some genius/has an exceptional inborn talent.
>>35801088Mystic Eyes aren't rare. Reality Marbles are though.
>>35801095>a eslOh, it's you again.
>>35801053how's that related to shiki vs arc fight? forgot your meds?
>>35800742Ciel's route is disappointing in that aspect and her trauma of being tortured to death by the church for days/months isn't talked about enough. She pretty much went through the same torture Angra Mainyu did so talking about her deep trauma in a interlude that goes into her backstory and desire to wish for death should be more explored. Ciel has the potential to stand as her own heroine due to the remake only having two routes which should help boost her populairty. The concern for me is the new route being too busy with time being taken away from Ciel and given to Noel and Mario and the new events for her route. She really needs more focus and character development for her to be a more likeable heroine. Nasu didn't really try to make her more likeable in other works like KT just being curry jokes and her being unpopular so I'm worried Nasu will stick to his old lazy writing for Ciel. And like another anon said the good ending should be rewritten or just taken out as it makes Ciel looks worse and is just bad in general.
>>35800970Don't make a strawman, no one is asking for half of the city to be blown up. There should be destruction, but nothing that crazy.
>>35800974It's been a while, but I remember the action scenes in the KnK novels being more involved on average than in Tsukihime. In KnK, they weren't like pages and pages of beautiful chuuni description, but it was pretty solid. Perhaps in Tsukihime, he wasn't too sure how his writing would work in a VN. By the time we got to F/SN, Nasu's action writing definitely improved by leaps and bounds.
>>35801119so did you look up why it's 'a eop' and not 'an eop'? probably not if you have an audacity to open your mouth, imbecile
>>35800974yeah, you could notice Nasu struggling with writing fight scenes and them just being simple like with how you described it in your post. He did improve in his fight scenes in KT with Kouma vs Shiki being his best written fight in Tsukihime with Nanaya Kiri's fights also being well done.
>>35800759>learn a useless language for porn gamesno thanks
>>35801146Because Nero vs Arc was the original example of a servant tier fight. You just moved the goalposts in your spergy reply.
>>35801163Well the new ciel route should be like double the length of the original and then also not be like halfway the same as Arc's route. I don't think there will be any time constraints at least.
>>35801175>Don't make a strawman, no one is asking for half of the city to be blown upever heard of hyperbolas, fallacy pro?
>>35801200both arc and shiki are SUPER STRONG characters, how's that moving the goalpost? you just can't answer the question
>>35801192maybe you can come back to discuss the remake in 10 years when those discord trannies finish translating it, EOP-kun
>>35801226you can stop larping now.
>>35801225I know this is a waste of time replying but Shiki killing arc isn't a fight you dumb retard. It was a straight up assassination. Nobody ever said or implied that it needed to be grander than it is in the original. Can't you go shitpost in another thread?
>>35801184Not him but how could it be anything other than "an eop"? Whether you say ee oh pee or English you'd have to use "an".
>>35801203That's true. Ciel should be given enough time for good character development. The trailers haven't shown much of Ciel's trauma but I guess they're saving that for the game.
>>35801294It's just a dumb shitposter. The a/an distinction in English works entirely on sounds (that's why you say "an hour" and not "a hour") so you are correct.
>>35801244>Shiki killing arc isn't a fightit is, arc just didn't have time to react. you may as well say that shiki charging at nero is an assassination, microcephalic shounefag
>>35801334>arc just didn't have time to react.Which makes it an assassination. Thanks for playing.>shiki charging at nero is an assassinationThe fact that you typed this proves you never read Tsukihime. Try again retard because Shiki got wrecked when he initially charged at Nero.

>>35801163> Ciel's route is disappointing in that aspect and her trauma of being tortured to death by the church for days/months isn't talked about enough. She pretty much went through the same torture Angra Mainyu did so talking about her deep trauma in a interlude that goes into her backstory and desire to wish for death should be more exploredShe didn't. Angra was turned into a scapegoat, was tortured and humiliated for several decades, but they didn't let him die. Ciel was seen as an abomination that had to be eliminated with top priority, they just couldn't find anything that could work on someone like her. Most of Ciel's trauma stems from her killing, torturing and raping an entire village, while being Roa. The Church's experiments were just an additional torture to hammer home how she's not anything human anymore.
>>35802632You're right, on second thought it isn't as bad as Angra. I do agree that it'll focus more on her being a vampire that destroyed a village and thinking of herself as a monster like Shiki does when he kills Arc. The remake will probably focus more on her past in the village than the church, but that's still another part of her trauma that should be mentioned at least.

>>35801182>I remember the action scenes in the KnK novels being more involved on average than in TsukihimeI got bored and doubled checked this. The action in KnK is actually pretty good. An excerpt. To be frank, I don't think any of the action narration in Tsukihime is nearly this good unless I'm just forgetting something.

The Fate/Extra remake looked really good in that one trailer so I was hoping it would be released this year, but since apparently they can't stop running into trouble I guess at should expect it in at least 2 years.
>>35803753I didn’t expect it to come out this year since the build they showed off in the stream was really early. 2 years sounds reasonable depending on the scope of the game. Maybe it’ll be released late next year.

>>35804031Well regardless, avoiding saying well-known fighting game terms when you are advertising a fighting game makes no sense.
>>35803753What trouble? New Dark Souls? They already have the original game. They already have Unreal Engine with every tool possible. A small team can do it in a few months. And it's not like the trailer showed anything ambitious.

>>35804094I talked about it yesterday, but they're working with another company to make this game so issues with communication must've happened. This kind of thing happens all the time with FF7 remake being an example. The scope for this game doesn't seem to be too high so it isn't that much of a disaster. Probably due to COVID is the reason the game got delayed since they started working on it when that was going on and Nino complained about that.

I want to go into Tsukihime blind, but should I really?Flowchart seems pretty daunting, it'd be pretty difficult to track where I branch off when I want go back and try for different routes. All this 'inc' and 'flg' non-sense going on.
