>>35174326>1 second apartwhat the fuck
>>35174334And yet neither of them use any of the new images we got from the latest pv.
I get mixed messages when they remove the ero but have Arc puffing up with pride displaying her big tits on the cover.
>>35174376I hope there's still the Arc looking over you CG from Ciel's route. That one is hot.
>>35174376They have such small noses now.
*slices you into 17 pieces in an instant*
>>35174582Eat your heart out, Heracles.
I just watched the new trailer. Where are all you retarded faggots that said Nrvnqsr wasn't going to be in the remake? I want you all to line up and suck my cock.
>>35174572Noses in modern character design is haram.
>>35174326>>35174334I take solace in knowing I didnt fuck up. >>35174347Theres a new Tsukihime trailer?
>>35174915>he doesn't knowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbXmdilsLBo
>>35172950Don't know about the LN but the manga's pretty enjoyable.
>>35174982I like the white outline thing Ishida is doing with the characters. It looks nice.
>>35174882Wheres he in the trailer?
>>35175056His panther's there, and this is likely him.
Any ideas on who Aoko's new seiyuu is? I didn't like her voice based on the two lines we heard, but I'd like to look up other work she's done to see what we're in for.
>>35175056There's a big black panther that Arcueid is fighting, are you blind?
>>35175077That red chick from SAO
>>35175077Tomatsu Haruka. She's huge. She'd be able to voice young Aoko as well.
>>35175093Asuna? That's the only female character from SAO I know, I don't read/watch that garbage.
>>35175077she's raikou from FGO. Also Asuna from SAO and 02 from franxx
>>35174882Because the initial trailer didn't show him at all and instead showed some random new villain.
>>35175077I don’t think she fits Aoko honestly. I can’t really think of a VA that would be able to capture her in Mahoyo at least. How does everyone feel about the voice acting in general in the new trailers? Arc seems fine and Shiki seems good, but I’m not really liking the rest of the cast.
>>35175102Thanks. >Aoko voiced by Raikou/02/Ai from idolm@sterGod what a bizarre casting. Definite downgrade.
>>35175171Ciel and Kohaku are absolutely dreadful. Sacchin and Aoko had like two lines but I didn't really like what I heard. I agree about Arc and Shiki and everyone else is just kind of whatever. All the girls sound really generic and indistinct.
>>35175171I liked nearly everyone from the trailer. Kohaku was the only one that left me feeling a bit lacking but we'll see.
>>35175171all the new VAs don't fit the character at all and I honestly feel like they got in because aniplex pushed for them or some shit. Gonna turn voices off because I feel like their performance will actually distract me from the game
>室内に入った瞬間、かちん、と撃鉄の落ちる音を聞いた。>扉の音。脳内の軋み。終わりの警鐘。I'm thinking kamige is on the menu.
>>35175261I really liked the presenation in that scene. I hope I forget about it by the time the game comes out so I can fully reenjoy it.
>>35175171So far I'm lukewarm on regarding Kohaku, Aoko & Satsuki, but I'm fine with everyone else. Shiki, Arihiko and Akiha are great.
>>35175228They're mostly new VAs. I guess the logic is that by hiring fresh young VAs, they're securing the franchise for the next 15-20 years. But the end result is that these newbies don't have any range and very little experience, so everyone sounds boring. And the worst part is that even if they develop themselves over the next decade, they're gonna have to back and do the same boring voice they did for all these characters. This idea of "future-proofing" the series at the expense of the quality is so ridiculous. I've been playing Guilty Gear Xrd and going through its storymode with Strive coming out tomorrow, and it's got an all star voice cast. Junichi Sawabe, Joji Nakata, Koyasu, Wakamoto, all in the same game. It's fantastic. And all those guys are over 50, or close to it. Fucking Satomi Koroogi is almost 60 and she still sounds great as May.
>>35175171>>35175228I find that Ciel sounds... off. Need to hear more of Aoko to be sure. The others sound fine to me. Shiki is great though.
>>35175437Ciel's first line is a fucking curry joke. You can't really judge her from just that. We'll have to wait for "serious" Ciel which wasn't really in the trailer.
>>35175474Nah, I'm just used to a more onee-san voice for Ciel. Even in joke scenes like Carnival Phantasm, the old VA still has that senpai feel.
>>35175489Sounds like an onee-san to me.
>>35175591Sounds like you have cum in your ears.
>>35175489I always thought Ciel sounded too much like a middle aged woman.
>>35175591She sounded more like a kouhai or fellow classmate.>>35175607No need to be so rude.
>>35175635>たべてくださいねThat's 100% a senpai type of line.
>>35175666We're talking about voice acting here, try to keep up.
>>35175680It sounds like a senpai talking.
>>35174582Damn that CG really captures how much of a freak Shiki was in that scene. >>35175171I like all the VA desu. I felt like they all fit their characters very well.
>>35175683She sounds like a generic high schooler. She doesn't sound like a LARPing 25 year old frog.
>>35175867Ciel in Melty Blood doesn't sound like a 25 year old LARPing frog.
If servants were summoned into present-day america, what would they think of itWhat if the servant was george washington
>>35175966Yes she did. She sounded much more mature than a high schooler.
>>35175979Not in the goofy lines.
>>35175984Even in the goofy lines. Especially in the goofy lines.
>>35176025No, she sounds like a goofy high schooler which is the intent.
>>35175968George WashingtonWas black
>MB without SionWhat's the point.
>>35176068No she didn't. I know you have to stay 500 feet away from public schools so you wouldn't have the slightest clue of what a high schooler sounds like, but she did not sound like a high schooler. Which was the actual intent, considering, you know, she isn't a high schooler, she's only pretending to be one.
>>35176095Sion will have to be DLC or in another game. She's too important to not be.
>>35176169Women's voices don't really change from 17 to 25 unless they start chain smoking or something.
>>35175077>>35175171Honestly, I think she fits better than Kotono, but still quite a way off the voice I have for her in mind.I wanted a VA that hasn't been used for a notable TM character before.Irregardless, she has few lines, and if Mahoyo were to continue Nasu's autism would keep it unvoiced.I still don't know who would be ideal.
>>35175102>She'd be able to voice young Aoko as well. Not happening.
>>35176275Hopefully. I don't trust the mushroom anymore.
>>35175077I think it's a bit hard to judge Aoko's voice completely yet because the lines we heard in the PV were ones she needed to deliver deadly seriously, and we're used to Aoko from MB.
>>35176320hopefully he lets french bread pick some of the DLC characters and Nasu isn't too picky about his lore.
>>35176370MB is a different context, as it is largely lighthearted and whimsical. There are a couple of serious lines to judge, but Tsuki is basically all serious.
So how much longer did the far side just get delayed?
>>35176473I'm honestly worried about this lol. Hopefully Takeuchi has taken away Nasu's game consoles.
>>35176654Maybe if we're lucky, Nasu get super motivated to finish up far side before this comes out so he can go play it all day.
>>35176729Yeah, if only he was still in his 20's and he activated super Nasu deadline writing mode and he finished up the far side Tsukihime game in one year so he can enjoy Elden Ring and take a break.
>>35176473When is armored core 6, Miyazaki?
Do we know who did the art for the dump of Arc pics I'm about to post? It can't all be Takeuchi, right?
>>35176946>It can't all be Takeuchi, right? It is. Well I guess koyama colored it or whoever does it for them now.
>>35176970This is nice.
>>35176946Oh, I noticed the fucked up hands, nevermind lol. Guess seeing the more high quality pics of this art made me notice how bad they look. Jesus Takeuchi.
why haven't you play saber's game yet, /tmg/?
>>35177007>The Angelos Armas girl is not playablereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
>>35176289You're deranged. Kotono was absolutely perfect for Aoko.
>>35176988It's not bad. It's not like the thumb is sticking out in a weird position like it usually is when he draws that pose.
>>35177068I dunno if I'd call some goofy kansai-ben accent (or whatever it was) perfect for Aoko. I mean it's fine for Melty Blood but she's not like that in Tsukihime or Mahoyo at all. Then again, it's not like Kotono was ever given a chance for the more serious stuff.
>>35174582Where's his murder boner, wasn't he having one when stalking Arc?
>>35177226I'm pretty sure he literally cums while he kills her.
>>35177068She is ideal for Melty and CP, but as >>35177131said the rest is uncertain.
>>35176961>>35176970She looks like a stick with those tights. They need to make her look more THICC like in her older art work
>>35176900please understand, we need to make another dark souls clone that doesnt even look different than ds3. please understand
>>35176946Nowadays Takeuchi just does a sketch while Koyama and some interns do 80% of the rest of the work.
>>35177260Haven't type-moon characters always been sticks?
>No Akiha routeaww i wanted to see this CG modernized
>>35177399That's from kohaku's route though.
>>35175429The excuse of "we need a fresh cast so that the series has a future" was just a corporate excuse. Aniplex is most likely to blame.
The tokuten from Gamers is a curry plate with Ciel's face on it and a spoon with the game's logo and Ciel's name on.
>>35177395Not all of them. Sakura has been on the thicc side. Rin has those tights. Ciel and Arc have huge asses.
>>35177406This is from the kohaku route
>>35177344well the interns and Koyama aren't doing a great job fixing his sketches. Should just let Koyama draw everything.
>>35177460hope Nasu doesn't go TOO crazy with the curry jokes. I want more badass church Ciel and not more curry jokes.
>>35177131Are you fucking serious? Do you not know who Kotono is? What other roles she's played? Have you seriously never watched Evangelion? Go watch any of Misato's dramatic scenes and tell me she's too "goofy" for Tsukihime, you fucking dunce. As for Mahoyo, I can understand a recast for a younger Aoko (though Kotono is perfectly capable of doing a younger voice) but that's not really here nor there since it's not like Mahoyo has voice acting anyway.
>>35177399>>No Akiha routeHow many times does Nasu need to say that Far Side is still being made, it's just being released later, before you morons stop spouting shit like this.
>>35177927I don't know seiyuu names. Aoko shouldn't sound like Misato though.
>>35177621They did for Mahoyo and it has the best art from any TM game.
>>35177968lmao okay idiotSounding like 02 is A-Okay in your book, though, right?
>>35177909Judging by how all the new Ciel content in the 2nd PV was curry related, it's not looking good.
>>35178151What? I'm sorry I don't know the names of everyone who voices everything off the top of my head and apparently that hurt your feelings.
>>35178159I'm guessing Nasu doesn't want to spoil her route too much, but yeah getting tired of seeing those rotating curry dishes. I really want more church stuff.
>>35178179Speaking of Ciel's route, they didn't reveal Noel's seiyuu. Maybe they didn't want to introduce her alongside the original cast or something. I wonder how big her role will be.
>>35178220>NoelJust an ordinary Japanese high school teacher. Nothing suspicious at all.
>>35175171Akiha's Remake voice is 10/10 you can't prove me wrong
>>35178233Her name was specifically mentioned in the synopsis of Ciel's route from TM Ace 13
>>35178281Why would a normal Japanese high school teacher's name not be mentioned in the synopsis of the route of a normal Japanese high school girl?
I can't believe they changed my favourite character's design.
>>35178220guess they'll save it for the next stream in late June? Wonder if she's Ciel's helper from the church or a mage. I'd like her to be a mage to explore the magic side of Tsukihime as Ciel already covers that side of the supernatural world.
>>35178498I don't think a mage would care about Roa though. And honestly I think there's enough mage stuff in other TM works. Tsukihime's a good place to explore the church some more.
Me? Haven't read extra or ccc, but hate and will continue hating them.
>>35178759Based. Nasu is a hack and all her good works were flukes.
The nasu is a girl joke is slowly becoming cringe.
>>35178549that's true, I guess a different role in the church is more exciting. I'd just like her to have a unique ability that's different from Ciel's.
>>35179075I blame the retards on /vg/ who kept pushing that dumb badly google translate pic of kimetsu's mangaka plus that old debunked article calling Nasu a woman. Oh and those other retards who have never heard of men writing women-centric works.
>>35176232Threads were made one second apart, calm your autism.
>>35175077SAO Asuna, Zero Two, the main girl of Horimiya on top of my head
>>35179756>retards on /vg/It's literally a single gook.
>>35179916It's multiple people. A lot of the posts pushing that shit are too fluent to be that gook. The fucker can't even string together a coherent sentence, let alone an entire paragraph arguing Nasu is a women because FSN is written with a woman's perspective.
>>35179944>FSN >A story about a boy who inherited his fathers ideals coming into his own as a man >Is written from a woman's perspective
>>35180224Tell that to those weirdos parroting the Nasu is a girl meme, not me.
>>35175429The act of securing and franchising Tsukihime is basically just sugarcoating what it really is which is Type Moon selling out and wanting to make another cash cow. It has been implicitly made clear enough and makes enough business sense even if I am personally against it due to its ramifications. But they really could've done better with the new VAs as long as they know the role they are supposed to play and have heard what prior VAs in Melty Blood sounded like because they had some shoes to fill. But it's like besides Shiki and Arc, which sounded different but good for their respective characters, everyone else fell short or sounded really generic and didn't try. I will give some slack to the more side characters like Arihiko and Aoko for now since we heard little from them. I guess I can also give some slack for now for the maids and Akiha even though they lacked traits like Kohaku not being fake genki enough. But the most egregious is Ciel in my opinion who is supposed to have a route in the game releasing in a little more than 3 months and sounds terrible compared to her old VA and doesn't fit her personality. I'm not sure how old fans are supposed to convert over if this is the best Type Moon could've offered them on top of the already egregious move of selling the VN in two halves and not on PC. How much are they really banking on newer fans from FGO to switch?
>>35181136I think it's likely Nasu just rewrote ciel entirely. Her tattoos are gone and even the expression she is making on the cover is entirely different
Script for Lostbelt 6 by Nasu
all these years and morgan is literally just another saberface.
>>35181689I mean, it was a given; people have even been saying it for years. What were you expecting.
>>35181701them to not be hacks?
>>35181731Really, anon? In year 2021? After Extra, FGO and Last Encore?
>>35181543LOL YEAH FUCKING RIGHT by the time it reaches the half way point TsukihimeR would've came out sooner by now
>>35178759played a bit of extra and heard ccc was "kino" but to me those two just look like another fate fan service lol
>>35181136>Type Moon selling out and wanting to make another cash cowAnon, from a business perspective, making Tsukihime R is retarded. Even if it 'sells well' for a vn, it's not even in the same dimension as what they could be doing with the fate franchise.
Apparently Sacchin's route was mentioned in the FGO stream or something?
>>35182684Sacchin’s route will NEVER be a thing, anyone believing otherwise is in denial
>>35182740>>35182684Sacchin route already existed years ago!
>>35178430I don't think what we saw in the trailer is the same as those living dead.
>>35183331>joking about itYeah it's not going to happen kek.
>>35175867She isn't supposed to sound mature in the first place. She's eternally 16 biologically.
>>35182672Its clear they wanna make Tsukihime into their next cashcow with FGO going down the drain. The VN will just be the first step in milking it to death.
>>35183692I don't know if that's clear or not, but if that's their plan it's totally retarded. Tsuki R will certainly sell well since it's fucking Type-Moon but this isn't 2006 anymore. Kids are addicted to gatcha and smartphone games. Nobody sits down and reads long massive VNs anymore. That's not where the market is. I'm not complaining. I'm actually glad they're going back to their roots. Even if it sucks (which I don't think it will; kamige seems much more likely than kusoge so far), I'd rather them have tried than not at all.
>>35183692>FGO going down the drainBelieve me, I wish this was true, but again, different dimension. What can they even do with Tsukihime? Multiple vns, Melty, other spinoff games(?), a new manga serialisation? It's still not even a drop in the ocean of Fate.Besides, just judging by the engagements and views its getting on social media/youtube, it's clearly hardly going to become a cashcow unless it picks up some serious steam after its released (read: after the FGO collab). The fact that we've got to the point where we're accusing TM of selling out by making Tsukihime is pure comedy though.
>>35183692>VN>next cash cowYou wish.>FGO going down the drainIt's still a ridiculously profitable franchise even if it's past its peak and it going down the drain will still take be raking in huge money for at least another 5 years.
So does Ciel just kinda twiddle her thumbs in the tea room all day? And is Ciel-Sensei supposed to be like a different character altogether?
>>35183815It may be a prediction but I don't think people are wrong to assume it even if it isn't clear for everyone. Type-Moon are retarded enough that this is possible, it's either trying to keep their hubris or ego about a "promise" they made (and they still haven't uncancelled Girl's Work) which has the sole purpose of only appealing to their roots and core audience at the time. The problem is that they made too many changes about the VN itself already starting off with the redesign itself after a gap of no news after 2008 which has already split and lost older fans who would go out and be the most likely to get this. So it isn't clear who exactly would buy this.We already know what failure looks like for them. Look at how well Mahoyo sold and how Type-Moon still hasn't made the second game out of a supposed trilogy despite the fact that the first game from announcement to release took only 4 years and we are at 8 years and counting for that second game with no announcement. The fact that they got funding from Aniplex to do stuff like ufotable PVs and new VAs on top of releasing only half of the original VN for consoles means the focus is to drive engagement via not Type-Moon's traditional core VN audience on PC in Japan but the console audience in Japan instead which has a bigger install base. Most likely, it's to rope people who are already engaged with another Type-Moon property on console via Fate. I'm not one to say that is a slam dunk argument for selling out but it is a persuasive and plausible one. Especially because if Type-Moon makes this and Aniplex has already funded the base game, then Aniplex will always have their share of the pie in the franchise from this point on no matter what comes out for Tsukihime next and they can dictate what gets made and when.
>>35185846>We already know what failure looks like for them. Look at how well Mahoyo soldIt was literally one of the selling PC games of that decade. It outsold rewrite in physical discs. When will this meme ever end?
>>35185859ESL idiot, reread the fucking sentence. I know Mahoyo sold really well and said as much in the same sentence you quoted. The point is that it was viewed as a failure from Type-Moon's perspective because if it wasn't, why didn't we get a second game as I said?
>>35185891>The point is that it was viewed as a failure from Type-Moon's perspectiveThis is your completely your headcannon. That's actually even worse than thinking it sold poorly because it makes no sense.
>>35185912Strawman and ad hominem. Not even worth discussing the subject with you further. Have a nice day.
>>35185954Do you even know what strawman means? That also made no sense. How do you know Type-Moon thinks it's "failure"? Because you said so? Nasu being too lazy to make part 2 doesn't magically mean that. This is just you making up things in your head and swearing it is true.
>>35182672I agree. Maybe you could argue that establishing a "new" IP is good for milking in the long run, but they could have done the same thing by just cutting out the VN medium and making the remake an anime, a RPG, or something. Sure, a minority (like this whole thread) would be pissed, but 90% of fans would get over it.
why do i even bother
>>35181543Large amount of trash is still trash
There's so much weird sex shit in LB6. Nasu really is just a horny old guy.
>>35184336Fate started as a VN and it became a cashcow.
>>35188246In 2004, not 2021. We're in a different era anon.
Gotta appreciate how all female characters are whores at this point.Gudao shows up?"HUSBAND!!"
>>35188311Except for Mashu, who's a whore for monstrous dick instead of Gudao.
>>35188518So how much seething is /vg/ doing over the NTR shit
>>35188743I wanna know too, those threads normally give me brain damage
>>35188755I'm not checking those threads before I finished the chapter but Nasu is honestly retarded for writing things that way. Obviously there's no actual sex but the entire mashu plotline reads like he actually wants people to write an entire doujin series about it. It's filled to the fucking brim with NTR tropes
>>35188743Some seething, some dreading of the NTR doujins and fanart exploding, a lot of pointing and laughing.
>>35188311To think that the same will most likely happen to the Tsukihime heroines. Good thing that a Mahoyo collab will never happen, just the thought of Alice/Aoko getting whored for waifu bait purpose is sickening.
FGO is shit
>Mash gets separated from the group>Mashu loses her memories>Mashu collapses and is picked up by 3 slave trader goblins who give her a new name>Mashu spends 10 days traveling with them, growing close>They sell her to a fucking Lion king furry who exclusively fucks human females and has had 62 previous wives>Has a bridal dress custom made for her, wants to fuck her right away and starts talking about taking her virginity in the bedroom>Goblins stay around in the city and one of them kinda regrets selling her because she meant so much>Random furry soldier talks about how he wants to confess to a human female toowhat the fuck was Nasu thinking
>>35189017Wait this is real and not fanfiction? People unironically read this?
>>35189017absolute state of FGO (unironic) cucks
>>35189342>cucksI mean does anyone actually want Trashu
>>35189413tons of plebs want Mashu because gachafags
>>35189413Cant argue for taste when they like the trash that was introduced with FGO or EXTRA (or Extella, or CCC, or Apocrypha...)
>>35189017HAHAHAHAHAHa This can't be real. Are we going to see a profit drop because of this?
>>35181543So the reason LB6 got delayed was due to Nasu overwriting again and writing a whole visual novel for an LB chapter? Man, considering that it's a miracle Tsukihime is actually coming out considering how much he wrote last year. The mushroom must be working like mad in order to be able to play Elden Ring during his break.
>>35186553Because you're a masochist who actually enjoy getting mad over it.
>>35188743/vg/ is always seething over even the most trivial stuff, so it doesn't mean much.
>>35189700>The mushroom must be working like mad in order to be able to play Elden Ring during his break.I hope so. Nothing motivates artists/writers/etc. like having a firm deadline.
>>35183692>Its clear they wanna make Tsukihime into their next cashcowIt's not going to be anywhere near FGO. And it could outright flop. And while FGO revenue is going down it's still one of the most profitable gacha games. Especially when you consider how low effort it is compared to Uma or Genshin. Making new content for this trash is 10x cheaper. Anyways, fairy Liz is the best new design in years.
>>35188246When was the last time some VN became a massive hit?
>>35189982Good question. I guess it depends on what you consider "massive", but maybe rewrite?
>>35174296I thin Arc has the best tits in TM
>>35190030Didn't SG only really became massive after anime? I remember first week sales being something like 30k.
>>35190012I mean, in that list of the top selling PC games in Japan of the decade, Mahoyo is higher than Rewrite.
>>35189017>Mashu reunites with Guda>Doesn't recognize him and is taken away by an elf noble into his castle while cryingthis entire chapter is just fetish bait
>>35190074Oh duh I have my order of release wrong. Mahoyo I guess.>>35190030How well did stein gate 0 do?
Avalon Le Fay is 580k total.FSN (as whole including all bad ends) is 820k words total. So this shit is longer than a FSN route.
Making Tsukihime a cash cow doesn't sound bad considering how much it's been ignored for all of these years. I'd rather have more works about Tsukihime and more lore in that universe than Servant shit. I don't think it'll be as big as Fate is now, but having more works in the Tsukiverse sounds good to me as long as the remake is good and the spin-offs are good. I want more vampire and church stuff over Fate.
>>35190135You can't "make" a cashcow.
>>35190111This just means shitloads of bad writing.
>>35190153I'd like to see Tsukihime getting milked then since it's been years without anything that involves that universe.
>>35190135Most people don't care about VNs, much less so in 2021. Tsukihime, even if it ends up topping the chart in VN sales, won't be a cash cow, especially after FGO. At best you'd have to wait for a few years down the line for ufotable to inevitable adapt it into anime.I doubt Nasu cares about money at this point and, good or bad, the Tsuki remake is likely a passion project indeed. As for the suits at aniplex etc, they're more likely to keep squeezing FGO for low effort easy money and then find away to make another Fate gacha when the whales finally get bored of FGO in who knows how many years' time.
>>35190135How exactly do you turn it into a cashcow? Fate had pokemon battles with famous people and visiting different eras. Tsukihime has what?
>>35190176Isn't that expected of Nasu? Man has written cringe shit since forever. his characters are cool but he needs an editor.
>>35190193yeah messed up with the word cash cow since it kept popping up in this thread. An anime from Ufotable would give it a boost in popularity, but I know that it won't get popular like Fate. I just assume Nasu is tired of Fate and wants to write other stuff on the side while still writing for FGO.
>>35190111Christ. I hope he kept all of his shit ideas in that massive thing and not in the Tsukihime remake.
>>35190208Traveling the world fighting Dark Apostles and fighting dark creatures. Give them castles with reality marbles and you got your different locations. It's not like they really gave a fuck about the hero the whalebait Servant is based on after FSN so it won't be that different creatively.
>>35190281Eh, if they turned it into a gacha with alt versions of popular FGO characters it could maybe work.
>>35190135I don't see anything more coming out of Tsuki other than this remake. Tsuki 2 would be great to see but I doubt it will be released in this decade, and as for side projects, who knows until FGO is finished. I know that TM made a game studio awhile back so maybe something will come out of that.
>>35190024Not when Takeuchi is the artist.
Only after watching episode 8 of Mahoromatic I realized that Mahoro and Saber have thr same voice
>>35190255This is kind of cute.
How do hair vents work?
>>35190977remind me again why shirou is a servant now
>>35191059That's not even really Shirou, it's some old blacksmith from Japanese lore possessing his body. EMIYA is more Shirou than him lol
>>35190853Really? I watched the whole thing without realizing it. Fuck.
>>35191059To get nostalgia bucks
>>35191107Damn that sounds retarded
>>35191059They're desperate for money.
>>35191146Welcome to FGO, where some brit dude and some brit chick gets possessed by chink spirits
>>35191059Everyone is a servant. Even non fate characters like Ryougi. Tsukihime characters will also be added in with a collab. The only questions asked if a person can be a servant is how much monies they will generate
>>35191340At least Shiki is counter force, which kinda makes sense. Meanwhile, people like Muramasa and Zhuge Liang just get slapped onto existing characters for popularity purposes.
>>35191130Yes, she also voiced Shana's rival in Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima
Can't wait to translate the remake to catalan.
Does anyone have the translation for this?
>>35191483I'm certain it was the anime with the combat android maid that made Takeuchi want Kawasumi as Saber's voice actor from the start.
>>35191516When we think about his maid fetish it makes sense. I wonder if he knows Popotan? In the anime the robot maid has the same voice as Illya. She's likely based on Hisui, the Popotan VN came out in 2002 and Tsukihime was really influential for other VNs.
>>35191533She in the anime
>>35191483Lafiel is the only one I feel like she strongly sounds like Saber. I remember searching her VA up in the first couple of episodes of the Crest of the Stars thinking to myself she sounds exactly like her

>>35191505sorry I can't read gook
>>35191483>>35191574It's always impressive when someone voices completely different sounding characters and you would have literally no idea it's the same person without looking it up.

Remake Arc is growing on me.
>>35191805Same. Her sprites and voice are cute. It's a shame about the hair being different, but since Takeuchi wanted a younger and cuter Arc then it makes sense.
>>35191805>>35191835Am I going to have to apologize to Takeuchi.
>>35191805i just hate it the more i see it. she's so generic looking.
>>35191900we've seen Takeuchi's art style degard over the years so it's a shame his art is so generic now. At least Arc is still cute. It'll be interesting to see her more savage side and if she can pull it off in the remake.
>>35191952Should've just had Koyama do all of the art for the Remake.
>>35191970has Koyama drawn her recently? I know I've seen his old Tsukihime artwork.
>>35177395They weren't voluptuous but Takeuchi's been overdoing it for a few years. That being said, I remember this Okazaki Takeshi illustration that I think portrayed Arc's assets better. In my headcanon, this is what more "accurate" depiction of her body.
>>35191989Other than colouring all of Takeuchi's shitty sketches, I don't think so.
>>35192117That's a shame. This one looks pretty old and from the All Around Type Moon Days so I'd like him to draw the Tsukihime cast in the current day. I hope he releases congratulations art for the release of the remake. I do like the Ciel in this art. I'm sure he'd be more faithful to the old game then Takeuchi
Listening to it closely, Aoko is certainly a bit off.
>>35192250same for me. I can't really picture any VA being able to capture serious Aoko for me.
So, I think you should start paying attention to the new lostbelt on FGO.Nasu is starting to put a lot of old lore foreshadowing, like, pretty hard.
>>35192552I already read the summaries and it doesn't seem like much happened besides Fae lore. I doubt most here give a shit so you should probably look to somewhere else for FGO lore talk unless something important happens. And no, Muramasa doesn't count.
>>35192552>Nasu is starting to put a lot of old lore foreshadowingLike what?
>>35192565There are lots of details that summaries are not focusing because their jp translators are either oblivious to oldTM or just plainly using MTL>>35192573Heroic spirits are having tons of demerits for being on the camelot LB, which indicates that it is not a Alaya dominated world and probably reinforces the "Tsukihime worlds (redacted) humanity" which also could be the fact that human legacy is a joke for phantasmal species.Fou/Primate Murder also ran away strong from that lostbelt.I'm still reading, but Fae lore seems to have things to be check. There's also part 2 which seems to be an even bigger thing (the amount of text of part 1 is already FSN saber route volume at least)
>580k wordsI hope Nasu does something really interesting with LB6 and not waste everyone's time.
Nostalgia from back when hope for the remake was high. Also haappens to be the last good album that IOSYS did along with one of their last good animations.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOmaLZDp3y0
Just to be clear, LB6 is Britain dominated by Morgan and all Avalon species. That and the fact that Nasu is 100% writing is, at minimal, curious.
There's also a timeline with important events of how the LB6 actually was built.Instead of Anno Domini, it is Anno Morgan.
>>35191799gotta put in the CG of Akiha biting Kohaku for blood to get attention lol
Also, some people are thinking this is ORT human form or something, because it looks like a spider.I don't think it is the case though.
>>35192635good 2hu is good
>>35192633FGO is a waste of time already so it's hard to fight against that. Still, I'm sure something cool will happen at least.
>>35192693Just wait for the scripts to read it, it is not like wasting your time trying to beat JRPG bosses like I'm doing is really necessary
Surprised by the low amount of views for the Tsukihime Remake's new trailer. Guess the initial hype has faded and only the most hardcore are actually following the game's progress or the promotion of the game isn't that great. Or most casual audiences only care about the shiny ufotable animation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbXmdilsLBo&t=54s&ab_channel=TierZooTierZooVerified
>>35192777>all those EOPsabsolutely disgusting
>>35192777It didn't trended that much on twitter and FGO itself has been dying, which was their alternative method of promoting it. Uma Musume and Genshin to blame, maybe? This or people ran away afraid of the price.
>>35192802>It didn't trendedsry for my ESL moment
>>35192802I doubt any of the gacha games or the price scared people off. I guess the new trailer didn't show much for general people to be excited over? I'm sure the game will sell well for a VN, but it's a shame to not see at least half of the attention the initial announcement got for this trailer. I was about to say that VN trailers probably don't get much attention and noticed how much attention the new DDLC club trailer got. Wow, must be weird for Dan Salvato, the creator of DDLC, since he's a big Tsukihime fan seeing his game get so much attention.
>>35192866The thing is, the surplus people on the first trailer were probably people who played FGO that had watched it on the FGO end of year stream. The second trailer now has the normal number of actually interested public, which if you compare to what Mahoyo did, is pretty fitting I think.I mean the numbers are still increasing.
Why Takeuchi does this.
>>35192878yeah, I remember that the Tsukihime trailer was released in that FGO stream and the whole meme of it never coming out must've given the first trailer more attention then it would've gotten. I don't mean to sound pessimistic for the remake's sales as I'm sure it'll do fine. I just hope it garners enough interest for Nasu to want to keep working on VN's or Tsukihime at least.
>>35192901Just look at the money TM got with FGO.Tsukihime can undersell just fine.
>>35192907not too worried about sales, just hope enough people play it and talk about it online. It just felt like besides on here it didn't feel like many people watched the new trailer and talked about it.
>>35192941>not too worried about sales, just hope enough people play it and talk about it onlineThen worry about Yuzu running it decently.Yuzu will be the only acessible way to read TsukiRe for most people for some time until Nasu stops wanting us to play on consoles only.
>>35192899haha she's for (you) anon, its your reward for the 500 SQ you spend on rolling.
>>35192961I got her on my first 30 roll, funny enoughI actually wanted the Vampire one though.
>>35192907I don’t think it’ll undersell. They’ll definitely have an FGO event to shill it, and it’d work too. Arc has been the most wanted Servant for a while now
>>35192866I think this backs up the theory some people have been having that the remake isn't really courting older fans that well, and newer fans that have been introduced to Type-Moon via a Fate spinoff or property aren't necessarily open to switching to find out what Tsukihime is, which makes the franchising theory less likely. Ego/hubris can explain why they went the way they did on this but really, they should be trying to get Melty Blood in order quickly. That is going to sell more than the VN with the interest it is getting at this rate.I don't have any doubts this will outsell Mahoyo, but I really wonder how much Type-Moon shot themselves in the foot by not offering it via PC for their traditional audience on top of consoles and pricing it at such a high price for only the near side of the game when people know there is more to expect and Type-Moon is not exactly delivering exactly on what people wanted out of the remake.
How come timelines with no humans get pruned but other plants doesnt have humans at all
>>35192971>>35192983You know, most people first got in contact with Tsukihime thought Melty Blood.I guess both FGO collab and Type Lumina will do the job, like always.People didn't read novels back thenThey don't read them nowAnd they never will
>>35192994"Don't think too much about it."
>>35192983Hmm, that's an interesting theory and I agree that they're shooting themselves in the foot with not releasing the game on PC since older fans would want it there. I doubt Melty will sell more than the Remake given that Melty isn't that popular with general audiences. I do wonder what the general audience for the game is besides hardcore old fans that will play anything that TM releases and old Tsuki fans that are fine with the remake.
>>35192994wouldn't the dumb pruned theory work for planets with aliens or is it a human only thing? Because if so that's dumb. Hope the timeline pruning thing is only for Earth.
>>35192941>It just felt like besides on here it didn't feel like many people watched the new trailer and talked about it.Do you mean in the west or in Japan? If it’s the former then it’s obvious why since most people EOPs and won’t care enough to talk about something they can’t read aside from begging for translations
>>35192552Foreshadowing don't matter if the resulting writing is still mediocre.
>>35193052most people are EOPs*
>>35193048Huh, I'm guessing the Fae/Gaia will be talked about in the Tsukihime Remake as this is proof that worlds with the influence of Gaia aren't places where Heroic Spirits can exist since they reject them.
>>35193068Not only that. There's actually a high chance that either Millenium Castle Brunestud is on this lostbelt or someone related to Brunestud is there. It wouldn't surprise me if the reason Fou/Primate Murder ran away was because Altrouge is there.
>>35193093I doubt that would happen, but that would be a crazy way to promote the Tsukihime Remake. I think the story is too busy to introduce such a crazy concept and it doesn't sound to realistic. Still, the mad mushroom may do just that since he may have had Tsukihime in his mind when writing this.
>>35193135>I think the story is too busy to introduce such a crazy concept and it doesn't sound to realistic.I would agree if pic related weren't true.
>>35189017Shinzo Abe paid off Nasu to write this
Also, Nasuverse fairies are cute
>>35193151that doesn't mean that it'll be in the FGO timeline. I doubt Nasu will put it in LB6 honestly no matter how neat it would be. There is so much going on in LB6 and things to address that adding this doesn't seem right to me.
>>35191349If you stop concerning yourself with justifying things with the setting's mechanics it's fine. Writing-wise, psuedo-servants are as hit-or-miss as the execution of any other servant, but some of them like Muramasa definitely aren't random.
>>35193200But that's the point of the Lostbelts.Their premisse is being anything that isn't proper human history.I agree it seems far fetched and I might be fucking wrong on july 17th (when part 2 is unlocked), but I have faith on Nasu autism.
>>35193230Nasu is pretty good with spoilers so I doubt he'd add Arc since the new LB chapter comes before Tsukihime. At best I expect a teaser for the castle but nothing too crazy. I wish you luck in seeing your wish come true.
>>35193246If he timelocks again and make a part 3, they could actually do it in sync with TsukihimeR release. But I don't think it will be Arcueid exactly, I think it will be either Brunestud or just his Castle being referenced.LB7 is the place where Nasu will make the Tsukihime FGOconnection, most certainly.
>>35193256yeah don't expect anything major, but a tease would be neat.
>>35193024I was under the impression that every Planet handles its own pruning. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise.
>>35191805eh it's just the face that still bothers me.
>>35183331LMAO WHY THE FUCK WAS TSUKIHIME ON A FGO STREAM THEY HAVE THEIR OWN CHANNEL

>>35194168It'll definitely get a collab cuz nasu wants it but I'll still ignore it whatever random lore shenanigan's they do.
>>35191059Pseudoservants are horrifying if you stop and think about them for more than 5 seconds. Shirou's mind was eaten and his body is currently being meatpuppeted by the one who did it.
>>35195152Servants exist outside of time. The human shirou is either too dead to know or off being a cosmic janitor.

>>35192777not even 100k and people still wonder why the remake took so long to release... f/go does that in a single live stream, why bother with a franchise that is basically already dead?
>>35190135In order for tsuki to be a cash cow it needs to happen like Fate UBW anime. That's literally how FGO was made because Aniplex wanted to milk the Fate fans. I doubt tsuki will be that popular enough.
>>35192777Who gives a shit about the fucking views even if some mofo out there reuploads it. All that mattes is that TM made a pre plan YouTube channel just for this. >>35196004I still can't believe they won't be releasing it on pc just because of Nasu's autismHow did no one stop him?
>>35194154I mean, I'm not surprised since as >>35194154said, it needs all the shilling Type-Moon can throw at it to attract newer fans since they aren't naturally "converting" into a sale based on anecdotal statistics like Youtube video views and the fact that there are still preorders up for the special limited edition up, the latter which kind of confuses me if they are defeating the purpose of making it "limited" and thus it isn't out of stock or if they actually can't sell the quota they had for that edition.>>35196004I get you. It's practically shooting themselves in one of their foot while the other shot is deciding to be greedy and charge full price for the near side. I mean seriously, who is going to fall for that. All the newbies can do research online about the original game as well as asking old timer fans online about it and the response they will get is the fact that Type-Moon are holding back 1/3 to 1/2 of the game. And the self inflicted shot in the head is no Sacchin route reconfirmed after all these changes.>>35195439You mean Fate/Zero? But I agree, you need at least two anime series for it to stay in the consciousness and gather critical mass. If they manage to do Tsukihime and then a Melty Blood anime, I don't have many doubts that there could be a mini repeat of how Fate got popular but it's a slim chance. Aniplex is investing in Tsukihime in the chances it does happen so the money printing never stops.
>>35200012>the fact that there are still preorders up for the special limited edition upOf course, it's still up. The game isn't out yet. They only stop making limited editions after the release date. Then they let the stock run out.
>>35199978>How did no one stop him? It's not a big market exactly. Software sales on consoles are good and piracy is low
>>35200390Usually Japan is more strict with limited editions where they actually have quotas for limited editions before it is sold out. The thing is that I don't dispute that they may be actually trying to get extra money by doing that and importing that practice from the West. It does certainly seem that way because they are doing the usual stuff with limited edition boxart, and including a tapestry cloth poster preorder bonus, badges, cellphone wallpapers and nothing extraordinary like getting a replica of Arcueid's pendant or Shiki's knife or anything as far as that is concerned which would've actually been nice.In any case, I am still skeptical about the claims that Tsukihime will be a significantly better hit than Mahoyo.
>>35193190TAa draws some cute ass fairies, damn.
>>35193190I want to rape her.
How well do extraverse games sell? They don't sell anywhere close to FGO so I'm not sure why people assume money is the prime reason as to why Tsukihime or Mahoyo sequels might not be made. They all seem like passion projects and as long as FGO continues to be the behemoth of a cash cow it is then I can see Nasu finishing up the Mahoyo and Tsukihime. I think what they're intended more as is to act as feeders for FGO with their collabs that bring a lot of money in.
>>35200895>Usually Japan is more strict with limited editions where they actually have quotas for limited editions before it is sold outThere is never a quota on limited edition pre-orders outside of shit like fanclub exclusives or something on that caliber.>In any case, I am still skeptical about the claims that Tsukihime will be a significantly better hit than Mahoyo.Same here. I don't really know what to expect from sales other than "probably pretty good".

>>35199255>>35201978>he's not constantly fantasizing about male TM characters having sexI think (You) don't belong in here
>>35201277Its not about selling, Nasu likes it more so he will work on Extra instead of writing other things.
>>35201277The first two sold around 70-100k in the first week. Not sure about the Musou games, but that's pretty good. I imagine the Extra Remake will sell better if promoted properly. I don't expect the Remake to sell like crazy but 50-100k should be expected. I do expect Nasu to try and make Tsukihime the next big thing and an anime from Ufotable would be the best way to do that considering how popular the animation they made was and Ufo's popularity right now.
>>35201938>since a LotR anime is confirmed in the worksWhat?
>>35192552I actually started playing it a week ago and after pulling Odysseus by chance I am entirely confused. Doesn't this guy show up not even 100 years after Heracles' death? How did technology advance to the point where he wears a supersuit straight out of Guilty Crown and the Trojan Horse was actually a giant magic mecha? Was it always like this and Heracles was just weird bum walking around in a loincloth according to FGO?
>>35203218I mean, heracles WAS a weird bum walking around in a lion skin and relying on his insane HAX powers.
>>35203218He comes from a weird different timeline which is why designs like Ivan the Terrible exist. Isn't this the Aegis Armor that Athena gave him?
>>35203218Look, just don't think too hard about it. Say what you want about OG Fate but FGO is where they went full retard with the designs.
>>35203218Nasu decided during writing Extra that the olympian greek gods are actually alien spaceships. That's why greek shit now has sci-fi out the ass, pretty sure the trojan horse being a mecha isn't even exclusive to he lostbelt timeline. Herc was designed and written before Nasu got the idea

>>35204237If you are chinese maybe.
>>35204237no, you can try to learn to decipher japanese in 2 months but you will never be "decent". but who cares? it's better to start learning now than never.
>>35204237>can I realistically learn “decent” japanese in 2 monthsNot even close, but you should start anyway.
>>35204237No, but you can learn bad Japanese in that time, and bad Japanese is a requirement for learning decent Japanese.
>>35204237Decent? No way, but if you want to stop being a pleb you should start.
Noted, I guess it will be useful in the long run
Did Rins VA just die recently?
>>35204237In 2 months you can learn basic grammar, a couple thousands of words, read several short vns or manga volumes. It's enough to mostly understand Nasu's works. Slowly, painfully but manageable if you're determined.
>>35204818> 2 months you can learn basic grammar, a couple thousands of words,>tfw 6+ months and only know really basic grammar and only have around 1000 seen cards on AnkiPeople say Anki is good for learning words quick but I don't think that's working for me, I just keep forgetting them so I can only do a few new cards everyday, else my daily reviews will skyrocket.
i want to deito touko
>>35204912Read manga with furigana and translate as you go. Keep translated pages on hand for when you really can't tell what the fuck is being said. I found it easier to learn this way.
>where have you been all night nii-san? I've been texting and calling your phone.
>>35205163with the granny skirt vampire all night
>>35205183how many more times do I have to tell you to stay away from that gaijin whore?
>>35205215it was all really innocent we went to the movies, hung out in the park, killed some things, went to a diner using counterfeit money and then went to a hotel. also barelegs.
Don't bully Akiha she is for hugs and S+M.
>>35205239I guess it can't be helped but don't forget, you're my betrothed nii-san. You can have fun with the gaijins while you finish up school but they are NOT suitable for a Tohno.
>>35205318Who would Akiha agree to a threesome with? Nun, Vampire, 5th Magician or Sacchin? Maids don't count.
>>35205398>Maids don't count. That's tough but I would go with Sacchin. The others are too much of a threat.
>>35205398There exists a doujin with Seo
>>35204912Read every day. It's the only thing that matters.Anki is just a tool that helps you to learn. If some tool doesn't work for you, then don't use it.
>>35205398probably Kohaku since they do gay stuff together already.
>>35205398I can't see her allowing anyone else but the maids. Akiha is very territorial
Do we know of any mage that does Boundary field magic like Souren did in KnK 5? Finished rewatching it today and it seems pretty busted unless you’ve got MEoDP.
>>35174296Someone post the edit with Shiki grabbing Arc's tits.
>>35206043I got you.
>>35205163i guess this is Shiki's room
>>35206083That looks like Akiha’s room.
>>35206083I thought that was the lounge/living room.
>>35204768No news on Mela Lee
>>35206092Looks too empty to be akiha's room. Its probably makihisa's
>>35206083Looks more like a home office
I wonder if TVs will still be haram at the new Tohno mansion and only that laptop is allowed out of necessity.
>>35206681Kohaku will have a tik tok account
>>35196036I'm reading this lostbelt and "Muramasa" acts more like Shirou than ever. Basically since he appeared half is AU Saber (Caster) x Shirou angst fluff in fairyland.
>>35192600It's still got deleted by the human order you know.
>>35206733>Shirou cucks the nameless MCbased as fuck
>>35193093>It wouldn't surprise me if the reason Fou/Primate Murder ran away was because Altrouge is there. It's probably because of pic related. We don't know what Oberon is really, but chances are he's the Mabel skin-suit Lostbelt Merlin is wearing and he's a step from manifesting as Beast IV.
>>35206779Pic related is based on one of their scenes together.>cuckThat would be Boggard who nearly marries Mashu.
EoP here, how mad are the Japs about this LB? I imagine they're not happy, especially with the Mashu shit seeing as how she's actually popular enough to get two dedicated waifu simulators.
>>35207022Don't gatchatards eat up any shit that they're served anyway?
>>35206681>I wonder if TVs will still be haram at the new Tohno mansionWas it? I remember its because the people who actually owned the TVs took it with them. The Non-existent anime's reasoning why there aren't any TVs in the tohno mansion is because Akiha hates noisy stuff.
Will the new Tohno Mansion have chairlifts and CCTVs?
>>35198723Likely since Artoria didn’t become King, Vortigern isn’t felled, which according to Garden of Avalon would cause a chain reaction ending the Age of Gods for good.Fairies and monsters remaining like that potentially means they will become the dominant species or Human Order become weaker, as they don’t reach Age of Man, Britain remains a land of magic and monsters
>>35203218>>35203254>>35203605This Odysseus is 100% Panhuman confirmed, even Circe’s flashbacks had him wear that armor in greek mythology. It’s a manifestation of Athena’s Aegis shield apparently. Lostbelt Odysseus takes it even further being charged with nanomachines
>>35206078I could've sworn there was also a fan art of this as well
>>35206078Thanks anon. I laughed.
So is tsukihime shorter than the routes in fsn? Like i know fsn is longer but is the fate route about the same length as tsuki?
>Lunar LegendThey're not seriously naming it this, right?
>>35207022>the Mashu shit seeing as how she's actually popular enough to get two dedicated waifu simulators. Not really because in the end this chapter (so far) was a giant GudaMashu chapter. If you're curious, here is a long review/analysis on GudaMashu's role and relationship in LB6 (https://twitter.com/metancone/status/1403620427021254659) by a JP player on twitter, among a lot of tweets that are all talking about them
>>35203218>the Trojan Horse was actually a giant magic mecha?>In the final moments of the Trojan War, Odysseus brought a strategy to the table, which was the cunning idea to carry a massive wooden horse into the city of Troy. The wooden horse would contain numerous Achaean (Greek) soldiers…>As a Noble Phantasm the “Wooden Horse” has become a colossal mount which is plated in divine armor. The divine armor comes from calling forth the Aegis which has been blessed by Athena. Upon release of its true name, it undergoes a transformation into its obliteration form which is similar in appearance to a giant. Thereafter calling forth complete annihilation like that of which occurred during the Trojan War.Also>Aegis>A defensive armament which was created by the Gods of Olympus. It has been at times referred to as a set of armor, or a shield. Originally a conceptualized defense used by the Gods, which is essentially an extremely formidable barrier. However, thanks to the affection Odysseus receives from Athena, it is able to be worn by him as a physical suit of “armor”.
>>35209434I wouldn't be surprised.
>>35209434what’s the point of another logo when it’s already in English
>>35209629Probably because they're localizer wannabes that just want to change things for no reason
>>35207636Didn't Kohaku have to hide hers? I thought Akiha didn't like them and continued her dad's policy.
>>35209434It's not like they actually have to the skills to translate anything.
>>35206681guess that joke probably won't be in the remake or a new about there being no access to Cellphones in the mansion. Honestly the new time period is worrying since the script has to account for all that new bullshit unless modern boundary fields disable cell phones so Shiki can't call anyone for help.
What do i do when someone calls fate, "chuuni shit" ?
>>35210970say, yes and?
>>35210970Do what? They’re right
>>35210970Nothing. Just nod and then pity the fool who don't appreciate peak chu2 aesthetics.
>>35210970Ignorance is a bless
>>35210970It's not shit. Unless they're talking about FGO.
>>35174296What's up with faes and TAs?
>>35210970call them based
>>35209096Tsukihime routes are shorter than fate routes
