Mr. Zeihan seems to confuse the causes and effects. The only reason massive wars have stopped occuring is because capital has become globalized. This is indeed an achievement of America. But that doesnt mean we live in some kind of utopia. Wars are still being waged on in those places where capital still has not penetrated (global south).The conclusion is that war and conflict will always exist as long as capitalism exists. The fact that we dont have massive world wars isn't due (or a virtue) of America, but instead of the hability of capital to globalize.
