Why the fuck did they make them all different sizes? And most importantly, why the fuck did they make 3 denominations that you literally can't even pay with, and 1 that you can only pay with sometimes?
>>
>>148875931
Do you mean that nobody accepts the larger notes?
If so, is that because of lacking change or because of a tendency of counterfeit bills being made of the higher value ones?
Both are true here.
>>

>>
>>148876127
I'm pretty sure it's not because of counterfeiting, given that when they do accept larger bills, they make extra sure to check them rigorously. It is probably because of the lack of change AND not wanting to deal with it. Customer service in Europe (especially in Central (I'm looking at you G*rmans) and Eastern Europe) is basically about not giving a shit about your customer, you are perfectly fine with them pissing off because of your attitude.

>>148876147
I think that's the reason why they actually started phasing the 500 EUR bill out

>>148876275
Fucking blind people, that makes sense, but it makes the bills less aesthetic
>>
>>148876514
Interesting. In my short experience in Germany the cashiers may have not been very talkative but they were very quick with processing goods and payments.
I was amazed that everyone paid in cash and everyone had change. I haven't used coins in years here because every place has a shortage of them.
And even the places with those testing pens and UV lights may refuse our new 200 bill.

Vz. 58 in a good working order is around 10 000. Hour with respectable prostitute is 1500-2000. Large beer (0,5l) is around 40. Plenty of stuff for 5000.

I don't really want to exchange it. I'm poor, so I don't have enough to be able to afford to play around with speculating currencies, nor do I want to anyway. I just want to avoid a potential crash of the HUF. If I have USD, that is at least accepted everywhere if I were to ever move abroad, it's more universal than the CHF. I might even be able to spend it directly one day, which is definitely not the case with CHF.

When you still had the punt, I would do down to Sligo and get some money changed, knowing the vending machines back in ulster, were only set up for pounds, your 10p coin used to weigh as much as the brits 50p, so I would scam the entire machines, empty them of their snacks, hit change return and still make a profit.

The most retarded part is changing the height of the bills.
>muh blind people
Just change the length like Japan does. Varying heights means you need to compromise between your wallet being too small to hold the largest denomination when you get it and your wallet being larger than it needs to be for everything else.
