>>137664424I also don't understand why you would consume Ayran as "refreshing" drink but I'm not being a fag about it, different tastes you know
>>137664748it's a meme when it comes to ''refreshing'' due to it's a milky product with a lot fat and salt in it, it forces you to pass out and sleep 10 hours straight. euroguys like more sweaty yoghurt, cheese etc. we literally dying out for salty and sour things
>>137664745I eat them often pickled together, it's a nice bar treat.
>>137664857i also eat it pickeled (in bits) you know whats really good to pickled or salty foods? Vodka. It breaks so well with the foods its incredible. ofc you can have a pilsner to drink on the side. what types of pickled fish do you eat in brazil? except herring then
>all these wh*Toids getting absolutely dabbed on by the TVRK BLACK BVLL in the OPThere's a reason your brothers/sisters/friends don't eat pickled herring and instead live at Mehmet's kebab shop.
>>137664849then you should love pickled herring, it's very salty
>>137662957Yes.
>>137664960salute my beaver fren, i send you my special mix kebab tonight>>137664974its a RAW fish noooooo
>>137664953>what types of pickled fish do you eat in brazil?Latin America in general doesn't eat much pickled fish; we got rollmops through immigrants. That said there's also escabeche, with sardines. I think it counts as it's basically a preserve.
>>137665174yeah sardines are that for sure but dont you usually mix them to so paste or such? i mean they are quite small fishes. gonna look up the dishes now bro
>>137664953[Sorry for the double reply] also campari is fucking amazing alongside pickled herring, I feel they complement each other nicely.Polite sage.
>>137665031the salty-sour marinade conserves the fish, you can store it in glasses or cans for agessmoked sprats are great too
>>137665174>escabechethis looks really tasty have you had it?

>>137665552i almost never eats them because of the water content so my knowledge is limited lol. but i think of Spreewald?
>>137664193Based
>>137665563yes please! is the recipie easy to cook along to?
>>137665592yes Spreewaldgurken is (was?) the most known brand of pickled cucumbers, I think it was a state brand of East Germanyand pickled fish traditionally was common in northern Germany at the coast ofcbut both are common everywhere now, I'm from southern Germany and like both
>>137665552do you guys have tiny sardine cans with filled smoked, fermented sardine and blacky oil in it ? some of the people eats there, they believe it cures your brain
>>137665708haven't heard of thatbut fish in general contains a lot of omega-3 fatty acids which is indeed good for your brain
>>137665682>SpreewaldgurkenThis was what is was thinking of! isnt this whole are like venice but for cucumbers? me too both are hella based. also spirits works fantastic with smoked and pickled foods
>>137665755my fav is this fish grill, its called çupra here
>>137665626It's a bit laborious because you're supposed to remove the main bones of the sardines, but it's extremely easy to prepare, beginner level.>1kg clean sardines>1/2 cup vinegar>1 cup water>1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil>a large onion, sliced>2 medium tomatoes, sliced>optional: half red bell pepper>a handful of black olives>seasoning: black pepper, chives, parsley, a bay leaf or two>saltNote: this recipe is best eaten on the next day, just keep it ready in the fridge. If preserving it, use at least 1 1/2 tbsp of salt per kilogram of fish, for safety reasons.Get a pressure cooker. Add in order onion slices, tomato, seasoning, sardines, olives. Then cover it with the vinegar, oil, and water, and let it cook under pressure for half hour. And that's it.If preserving, add the contents to the sterilized bottles while still hot.
High omega 3, high b12, high selenium, high iodine. They're a superfood, OP. Go back to eating stapled mystery meat spinning on a stick basted in transfats.
>>137662957>>137663045>>137663086>>137663392>>137663464>>137664117ah raw fish marinated fish yes
>>137665915>>1kg clean sardinesfuck really? that is too expensive here, what about on portion? yeah yeah haha i get it, idk some dishes just tastes better the very next day idk why
>>137665885what types of lake fishes are most popular in Turkey?
>>137666087>fuck really? that is too expensive here, what about on portion?Sardines are extremely cheap here, to the point some people turn noses up on them as "poor man's fish". To give you an idea I don't even live on the coast, and I pay around ~1.50 euro per kilo.I bet the recipe could be adapted to use a cheaper local fish though.
>>137663135Preparing herself to take a BBC
>>137666221jesus thats almost for free, i dont think we have a food here that is as cheap as that but prolly some root. and it sucks extra because i have read that sardines can be used into so much. The romans made it into a sauce that they added to everything fo example.
>>137666362Yeah, sardines are damn great. And as weird as this sounds, barbecued sardines alongside bread if delicious.>The romans made it into a sauceAh, garum/liquamen. If Apicius is to be relied on, they added it even to sweets. If you're interested there's a modern descendant made with anchovies in Campania, colatura di alici. I never bothered due to import prices, but considering you're in Sweden they might be a bit more reasonable for you.
>>137666844>barbecued sardines alongside bread if delicious.i can belive that for sure! do you have any veggies on the bread aswell?Sweets like desserts and such? what a fucking warrior you are!! gonna check it out now (im very cheap when it comes to foods tho) but i have always wanted to taste this "universal sauce" Have you had Asian fish sauce? do you know if its somewhat the same? i mean the flavour
>>137666844i wanna try gami so badly. seriously resturants should bring it back

>>137662957>fish and vegetablesWhy do you think there's anything wrong with this?
>>137668422there isn't. put a japanese flag aside it and it becomes good
>>137662957It's delicious you fucking philistine. I try to buy it every time I go to the store. I buy smoked herring from Germany a lot too, and Sprats in oil from Latvia.
>>137668009he's obviously just trolling you retard
wypipo
I eat this shit every day
Why is japanese seafood considered good but northern european isnt? Japanese use even less spices and niggas literally steam their fishes giving it a strange texture and has no taste at all
>>137662957>>137663045>>137663086>>137663179>>137663464Why don't you fry it, add garlic and other spices and actually enjoy it instead of eating a fucking raw fish like fucking gollum
>>137669559It's pickled not raw. Are you seething about japanese sea food too? Honest to god that's even worse
>>137669559it's not fucking raw wetback spic greaser
>>137669629Whatever, gollumski>>137669628Yeah not a big fan of that shit either. Fish is meant to be cooked, seasoned and fried on a pan, simple as. Anything else is fucking disgusting.
>>137669432because weebs have horrible taste in everything
>>137669699For me it's smoked fish
>>137669699>Wää you're only allowed to eat it the way I like it Jeez
i really don't see an issue
>>137669559We do fry it, but we also eat it pickled. Who says you can't enjoy both?
>>137663045I love rollmops.
>>137662957Our russian occupation was worth it solely because pickled hering got normalized here
>>137662957>>137663045Is this common in a dutch restaurant? or do I have to travel all the way to the netherlands to try it?
>>137662957you need to heat that up
>>137663058Sounds pretty good actually.
what's with the tails still on?
>>137666004good end of a trail food
>>137672419So you can hold it while eating

put anchovies on cheese pizza, maybe a slice of tomato or two. actually quite good.
>>137664193I never knew Russians were THIS based
>>137672522hah ha
>>137672566i'm not joking that's how you eat them
>>137672752salted or frozen what are thos
>>137669699>Fish is meantexcept historically it was most often for pickling, fermenting, smoking, and salting/drying for later eating. how hard it is to be open to something new to you? mutt-tier

>>137672505yes everyting, but not the tail.
>>137671511Based, we put slices of onions in ours though instead of gherkins
>>137663058It doesn't actually taste bad, I tried it at the market once
>>137662957Let me in, bro. I will take care of that fat of yours :^)
How is herring so versatile? A traditional thing here is to catch them before their big migration so they're super fat and then smoke them to make kippers. Poached or grilled with a bit of bread and a poached egg, very tasty
>>137664193Looks great
>>137662957looks nicewhat's wrong?
I'm going to get these for lunch now. Thanks for the inspiration mehmet.
>>137663058It's not fermented.Taken from the sea, cleaned, salted and then frozen for a week.>>137663147That's pickled herring, not the same.
>>137674699The Turk doesn't know about good food, that's all.
I am going to get some herring now lol. Although I am not a fan of sour herring, too chewy. Aome mackerel would be nice ass well.
>>137674941Better be smoked mackerel aka manna from heaven
>>137674965Only way to eat mackerel is ordering smoked mackerel from the qt from a fishers village. And then making the guess if the guy next to her is her husband, uncle, grandfather, son or all of the above.
On the topic of low countries seafood. Mussels are delicious as well. Not liking seafood is really missing out.
