My impressions from my america trip
>amerigoblin meme is real
>there are homeles people living on the streets everywhere
>americans know nothing about austria
>compton is not dangerous at all, i went there late at night and nothing happend to me
>everything is super expensive and gasoline is not cheap at all don't know where that gasoline is cheap in murica comes from
>americans can't drive, literally 90 % of the cars have visible damages

My impressions from my Austria trip
>muslim meme is real
>there are rape gangs on the streets everywhere
>austrians know nothing about anything, they only base decisions on muh feels
>vienna is very dangerous, I got beheaded three separate times in broad daylight
>everything is super expensive because the income taxes 100% of everything so that Jamal doesn't have to work a job since he's too busy raping young, pure, white, virgin women
>austrians can't drive because the government doesn't allow it
>austrians are rude and think all americans are evil idiots

Oh the above is now explained but yeah most of our dangerous places arent so dangerous anymore.
>>everything is super expensive and gasoline is not cheap at all don't know where that gasoline is cheap in murica comes from
Gasoline depends on where you are, different states have different taxes and how far the gas travels from the refinery is also a factor. I've also driven in Europe, gas in Germany was insane.
>>americans can't drive, literally 90 % of the cars have visible damages
Again you were in Cali it's full of illegals with no license, drug addicts and Asians. People also drive a lot more.
>>americans are very polite
Yeah certain areas are closer to Nirdic autism though.
>>everyone tries to rip you off, literally everyone even banks, car rental places
Kek what shitholes did you go to? Everything as far as prices is basically known ahead of time. Places like mechanics and car dealers will rip off women though.

>>
As many others have already said, California is "special". I went there in 2015 and I liked it, but actually living there is something else and I can understand why pretty much the rest of the US hate them.

I've been to the US numerous times. Florida, Hawaii, California/Vegas, New York/DC/Boston. I've also encountered quite a few homeless people, but it's not that bad. All Americans are apparently very friendly and outgoing (so I get why we Germans seem like autists to them), but I think it's more of a facade (not that you're all assholes, but it's like telling a new neighbor "Come visit me anytime" and when he comes you're surprised because it wasn't meant that way. It's hard to explain). For some reason, most products do indeed cost less in Germany/Austria and I've also been wondering why they don't include the tax in their prices. I'm aware that the places I've been to are the hipster commie places. All in all, America is obviously a nice country.

LA is a shithole and I live in NYC. Sure there are worst cities but it's honestly one of the worst in California. It has an insane urban sprawl and a car/public transport problem. Plus homeless, illegals and Hollywood douchebags. In short if you're set on California, maybe do a day sightseeing their and then go somewhere else.

Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Key Largo and Key West. I really liked Key West. Key Largo sucked. I was impressed by how diverse the landscape was, Everglades on one side and cool beaches on the other. The weather was fantastic so we could also enjoy Miami. I'm not good at remembering things and this was in 2011, so I can't really tell you everything, but I liked it. Florida is way more than most people apparently think it is and I didn't even see the North.

I live in BK and it's expensive and with high sales tax. We especially get fucked on high prices if imported cheeses and meats from Europe and the Hipster prices dont help, to quote my Bavarian friend about a hipster cheese and butcher shop, "I know how much those European cheeses cost, I'm not going to pay stupid hipster prices." Do you know how bullets work? Anything that goes up comes down, unless it's powerful enough to reach orbit, which most guns aren't I think. The rifling causes the bullet to spin and maintain its orientation which means it can still do a lot of damage when it reaches the ground.

Obviously it depends on the type of weapon, but you absolutely can kill someone by firing in the air, and you shouldn't do it unless you know with certainty there is no one in the direction you fire (and even then I'm not sure if wind can push a bullet enough to change its course without disrupting how it's spinning.)

We're on our way to having actual ghettos and so on, especially in the Ruhrpott region and maybe Berlin. But right now, there is indeed not a single "bad area" in Germany, at least not by American standards (which are quite high already).

The East (former GDR) is considerably poorer than the rest, but it's not a bad place to live or stay. Crime rates are pretty low everywhere, some places are just uglier/more run-down. Most of the "Ruhrpott" region is ugly as well. Berlin is kind of fascinating because it's full of actual arab clans and mega-hipsters with some hillbillies in the East. Nothing works there, but most places are actually still safe. However, with all the Turks/Arabs staying up all night, I would refrain from visiting public places like the Alexanderplatz or the infamous "Kotti" at night. It's nothing special for cities like New York or LA, I guess, but for Germany it is indeed an exception. But as I said, we're unfortunately on our way to having more of such situations... Most places are very, very safe.

In my village (which is still close to a city of considerable size) almost everyone leaves their bikes unlocked while shopping, just to give you an example. I know that's nothing extraordinary, but just don't believe this country is filled to the brim with ape-like-behaving Africans and Arabs (yet).

Why would you fire them in the air though if there's a risk to innocent bystanders? Not trying to be argumentative, just curious. Why do germans (or this one) keep pushing this bullshit. Most in any relevant area have to have a degree, followed by at least 22 weeks in the academy (this is across the board) and then are placed with a more experienced officer.

Because the risk is significantly smaller compared to a direct shot on target while having the same effect in many appropriate situations obviously. The point of policework is not to shoot first and ask questions later. The point of policework is to de-escalate a dangerous situations with minimal casualties using the least extreme use of force.

But a warning shot? That seems crazy to me. Why risk the life of an innocent simply for a warning shot? I mean how small would the risk have to be to risk someone life to fire a warning shot?

Maybe I'm imagining this the wrong way. When you say you fire a warning shot do you mean towards but slightly above or to the side of the target? That would make sense, if you knew that there was no one in the immediate vicinity behind the target, and that the bullet would drop to the ground before travelling much further. But if it's a "hey I have a gun here and I'll use it" shot into the air at a moderately or very high angle, that seems weird.

Presenting a firearm while not intending to use it for its intended purpose (shooting people) only escalates the situation. You don't draw unless you or an innocent third party is in imminent danger of death or grievous bodily harm.
Granted, police have more legal leeway here, but all the same it makes the situation more dangerous.
>>
>>105644344
>>
>>105646683
>But a warning shot? That seems crazy to me. Why risk the life of an innocent simply for a warning shot?
Because in appropriate situation the risk of a direct shot and inaction are greater than the risk of a warning shot.

>But if it's a "hey I have a gun here and I'll use it" shot into the air at a moderately or very high angle, that seems weird.

Not weird at all. In the appropriate situation a demonstration to use lethal force like this without a shot on a direct target is enough to make a suspect surrender. Again, real policework is not about 'taking out the bad guy'. The point of policework is to de-escalate a dangerous situation with minimal casualties using the least extreme use of force.

Never heard of it. But there are some that get hurt by targeted shots obviously. Again it depends. If the suspect is armed with another gun it obviously doesn't make sense but if you are in the open there are situations where its appropriate. The targeted shot is obviously the ultima ratio.

>The head of Germany's second largest police union has harshly attacked the country's justice system, after a court in Wuppertal ruled that so-called "sharia police" are legal.

>Rainer Wendt, head of the German Police Union (DpolG), told the Passauer Neue Presse (PNP) on Wednesday that the German judiciary are far too weak in dealing with known criminals.

>“These days the full force of the law often means we collect personal details from offenders and the judges let them go free,” said Wendt.
>Wendt was referring to two recent incidents which involved the German judiciary.

>On Monday a court in the western town of Wuppertal ruled that a group of Islamists did not break the law in forming "sharia police" street patrols and telling people to stop drinking, gambling and listening to music.

Hiw much longer do you think Germany will be "safe"? How passive will German cops be when it stops being safe for them? Our cops only have guns because italian criminals started killing them.

In LA gas is taxed the most in the state and in the summer they have a special mixture (for high temperatures) that raises the price. It’s easily around Alaska prices.
