UN mandate to repel North Korean forces from South Korea succeeded, and China achieved a (perhaps pyrrhic) victory to prevent the UN from unifying Korea under southern rule

They just don't feel natural, it's like when they tried to make NATOwave happen.
In David vs the giant you can't make the same sort of underdog memes about the giant, it just doesn't make any sense.
>*sniff* they managed to claw back a draw with nothing but complete air and naval superiority, supply routes, an extensive military-industrial complex backing them up, a combat hardened army, and an international force of dozens of countries... semper fi...

>extensive military-industrial complex backing them up
Most of the factories had been converted back to civilian use in the immediate aftermath of WWII
>a combat hardened army
kek,as if the Chinese weren't? Even at the NCO level a significant proportion in the US forces had no combat experience (unless you count catching the clap from rawdogging a mama-san in Tokyo "combat experience").
>and an international force of dozens of countries
Most of which were token contributions to show that they weren't reneging on their pledges to the UN

I'll concede naval/air superiority but I don't know why changs like to pretend that the war started October 1945 lol

>Most of the factories had been converted back to civilian use in the immediate aftermath of WWII
Compare to the North Korean industry which was a steaming pile of rubble and the Chinese industry which was a couple of peasants making pig iron in their back yard the American industry was god-tier.
>kek,as if the Chinese weren't? Even at the NCO level a significant proportion in the US forces had no combat experience (unless you count catching the clap from rawdogging a mama-san in Tokyo "combat experience").
The Korean war was nothing like the Chinese civil war. In the CCW most villages simply turned over to the communists without a fight (some entire provinces did) due to how much better the Communists treat them than the KMT occupiers. That equal footing almost entirely infantry war is nothing like the mechanized industrialized tank-airforce-artillery spam trench nightmare that was Korea, meanwhile the US doctrine since the 40s to the present day has been bomb the shit out of them and then send in some mechas to plant a flag in the charred remains of what once was civilians.
>Most of which were token contributions to show that they weren't reneging on their pledges to the UN
yeah i put that one in to make the point funnier

Why is it that these days the Korean War keeps popping up as a discussion topic everywhere from 4chan to Twitter to Reddit?

This is probably the fourth thread about Korea this week.

I suspect it's the U.S. military. The style of humor and word bubbles... it's not Falun Gong.

Also, if you look behind the maps you can see the spongebob pointing at things meme.
Clearly whoever made this was given the spongebob meme template, given a 2 minute rundown of what "a meme" is and told to copy it, but instead of using the template they pasted over it.
Shocking that someone with that little knowledge of internet culture was put in charge of this.

It just gives off that vibe. The argument of the cartoons really only makes sense within a strict "military" framework, it'd make sense to them, and the art style and language is very direct like it's giving instructions, and I can imagine being like some humor you'd use in a PowerPoint presentation in a military environment to lighten things up. It's hard to explain, but my instincts are onto something...

There are a disproportionate amount of gooks infesting every online community. Mostly because the average gook male is a kissless ricel. Take a look at gook fertility rates and you’ll realize why they are terminally online and also why you can get a million seething replies just from shitting on kpop

The "War to Resist America and Aid Korea" is being touted in China as the most glorious moment in the nation's history, why is why wumaos won't shut up about it.
